Sep2020. Went here for late weekend dinner with the partner after making an online reservation ahead of time.
We ordered the Burrata (silky smooth and good consistency), Veal Coteletta (very generous portion, tender, cooked medium) and Papperdelle with braised duck (pasta cooked al dente, good flavours).
Variable service. Smart casual ambience with indoor and outdoor seating available. Prices on the higher end with estimated $40+ for main meals.
Overall, a nice dining experience.
Tremendous casual bistro dining. Extensive and well curated wine list featuring a few boutique Aussie wineries and many Euro powerhouses. Service is attentive and friendly. The cosy space adds to the charm and local atmosphere. The quail is outstanding as was the octopus and the burrata. Duck Ragu or Bug Ravioli were delectable and went well with the range of Burgundy's on offer. Simple desert choices were well received. This place is everything that is good about casual, contemporary European. Just wish we still had something like this in Paddington. Long may it continue.
Absolutely wonderful lunch experience. All the dishes were amazing, I think my favourite was the bug tagliatelle. The duck ravioli was also excellent. Chocolate tart was very yum and a great way to finish the meal. Large wine selection and great service too. The ambience is classic and sophisticated, I would definitely come back again!
This restaurant is the best meal I have ever had in Brisbane. The wine selection was divine and the staff have great attention to detail. The pasta was so fresh it melted in my mouth. It was worth every cent. Please consider this place for a meal, even a drink at the bar - the bar staff are a cut above the rest. Friendly and knowledgeable.
Everything is 10/10 😍🙌🏼🥇 We are absolutely in love with their food. We really never thought we could have stunning Italian food right here in Brisbane until we tried Mosconi. It was exceptional.
My husband and I have just agreed that this place will be a part of our lives from here on, rain or shine. We look forward to coming back for our date nights. ♥️
Such a cozy spot for a nice glass of red wine. Meal sizes matched the price tag! Wish we tried the Scallop Risotto special, the service staff were lovely as well.

Mosconi restaurant is a gem, kind of tucked away to the side of James Street. In other words, there’s no way to impress with amazing views, prime location or people watching. The business relies purely on serving amazing good food and wine, backed by knowledgeable staff that know how to get us intrigued, inspired, curious and excited. The staff didn’t disappoint, neither did the kitchen.
I could go on and on, but go and try this place out. over and over. I’m sure you’ll match my 5 stars out of 5 rating!
We had a 2 hour seating from 6pm to 8pm last Saturday. The food, wine and venue was impeccable and cannot be flawed. For this reason we will be back to try again. The only part of the experience that made this a 4 out of 5 stars was the staff rushing us when we still had 40 minutes to go. All of our food (4 plates) were brought out at the same time and we were told by the waiter at 730pm that guests where arriving in 15 minutes- when we still had 30 minutes left. A disappointing end to a very beautiful evening.
Loved the experience here. The food, wine and service were all excellent. Staff took time to explain the menu and portions and what would work well in combination. Would not hesitate to recommend.
