Review Slow Burn Bbq - Brisbane

I ordered the BBQ bender and a Tim Tam shake. My meal was delicious and the price is super reasonable for what you get. If I lived closer, I’d definitely be back. The reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because I expected that shake before the meal. That’s the usual process, but everyone’s shakes didn’t come out until the food was coming and then mine was further delayed because they had to go and buy milk. Also 2 of my friends ordered the brisket meal. One was perfect, the other was 70% fat. I took a photo of the plate of congealed fat, but don’t want to put it alongside the photo of my delicious looking meal. It’s just something for them to keep an eye on in the future.

First time visiting, and wow the food here is fantastic, the kids had chicken wings and calamari. We ordered a share platter, to say the least we were blown away by the flavour of everything amazing. I Highly recommend anyone to go and support this local business. Great staff, wonderful food at great prices and a great atmosphere. Also try their ice tea.

Yes value for money for sure!!! Big serving size. American style bbq if your into that. All burgers on milk buns so not much choice for people with other dietary needs.

Amazing! This is now my new favorite place to go. It looks great, the staff are so friendly and the food is amazing! My partner and I had a share plate for a great price and we are extremely happy 🥰

My experience at teddy J's was phenomenal because I have two broken arms and this is not a joke one of your staff members I think his name is Finn? very thick Scottish accent, he helped me cut my brisket so I can actually eat it without causing myself any pain. it was quite brilliant actually would definitely go back

Dined in today for Mother’s Day. Took 40 mins to only got served a plate of chips considering they weren’t busy. The rest of the food came 10 mins later which was almost cold. The food was flavourless and dry. The cashier was rude and unfriendly. You can see workers going in and out of store to buy bbq sauce and a tub of ice cream every now and then. Unprofessional and not worth it for what we paid for.

Now listen here Teddy J's - My most liked Google review of all time was previously submitted for Chompers (at this location before ya'll renamed to Teddy J's) so don't think you can serve up finger lickn' ribs without me serving up critical review of your restaurant. I've been a frequent patron of this fine Yeronga establishment over the years, and consumed kilometers of curly fries, so I like to think my review has some weight. Teddy J's is one of those places where you rock up and it looks a little bit shonky and there is a single 16 year old running the whole shop. So you make an order for some chips with their special sauce and 5 minutes later that same teen is bringing out the most delicious cheesy meaty chips you've ever seen in your like. They do some great burgers, great chips, a quality chocolate shake, fantastic chips, awesome ribs, and some of the best chips in Brisbane. Right up there with the best chips money can buy. As long as Teddy J's keeps existing, I'll continue making my pilgrimage to Yeronga for one of my fav feasts. Lots of great mems attached to this place. 🤟
