Review Destresso - Brisbane

I started eating my work lunch from this shop since 1995. Spending up to $60 a week. Lunch line was out the door and preordering was a must! It's gone up and down, it is currently down.. way down... way, way, way, way, down.... Sandwichs were stale 5 times in a row, with bare minimum amount and maximum price. Hot food... yes sometimes it is! if you can get past the oil. I actually had a potato scallop that by the time I got back to work, the oil had pooled in the bottom of the bag to such a degree, I was able to pour the oil into a bin, which is where the scallop went next. Another time the inside was black. Like the potato had turned rotten. I have never had a problem with change. Tables are normally clean. The young girl (I don't want to post her name for privacy sake) working at the counter is very lovely. Always ready with a smile and asking how she can help me. 9-4-14 Well the lovely Rebecca is gone. Another lady whom is very nice too. I should know better than to go to this store anymore, but decide to pick up a chicken snitz-buger ( now without cheese and chicken getting thinner.) but same price. Taste wise sometimes they are ok, other times.. NOT. Today was ok. Always ask the price before hand as they seem to change the price as they feel like it. Sometimes two or three different pricing in one day for different people. When I ask why is the price more than you have advertised. I am told some bullshit story about sizes. Hmmmm .. Subway now around the corner and IGA just opened up. Can't see this store lasting unless they make some serious changes. Store still seems clean and tidy.
