Did some research on Zomato website and discovered this listing. Drove there to explore it in the morning and I nearly missed it because the location was not on Racecourse Road but around the corner.
I was greeted by a friendly lady upon arrival and I did not see many Banh Mi in the display cabinet but some attractive pictures of different bam mi. The one with roasted pork tempted me to order it immediately but it was not ready yet (they wait for the supply of roasted pork), so I changed to have one grilled pork Banh Mi to take away for my wife and one for myself. All of the sudden, I saw the picture of rice paper rolls so I changed my mind to have a grilled pork one. While I was waiting for the freshly made rice paper roll, the young gentleman (must be the son of the lady) gave me one spring roll on the house. Wow, what a bonus! The spring roll is very crispy😋. Then the rice paper roll was ready. I decided to consume it on the spot. Let me tell you that they are very tasty and are highly recommended. I admit that I do missed this eatery because it has been trading over two years here. What a shame.
Tasty for sure!! Been looking for a great Banh mi this side of town. This place is worth a visit. Banging Banhs and tasty treats!
Best banh mi in Brisbane, probably Australia. I recently moved to Hobart and still make it a part of my travel ritual whenever i come back! The young boy who works at the front of house is really nice and the owner is super sweet. I recommend arriving before 11 to beat the lunch rush and make sure the banh mi aren’t sold out.
