Saw the menu online and found many of the items really interesting so we wanted to try. I got the Spiced 🥗 Cauliflower Salad and my boyfriend got the 🌮 Breakfast Tacos. The flavors were nice and there was nothing wrong with them, however it was nothing special. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go out of their way to visit here, but it’s not a bad place to stop over by if you’re in the area or already passing by and don’t have anywhere in particular to grab brunch at. On a side note, the 🍠🥓🧀 Sweet Potato and Cheese Muffin with Bacon from the counter was yum! Probably favorite dish of the meal hahaha. Make sure to ask them to heat it up as well!

Overall great experience. Authentic latin american flavours. Highly recomend the Calentado with yummy plantains. Friendly service. The place was really busy but food didn't take long to arrive. Coffee could better. I think they have a new menu (maybe since my last visit) that does not dissapoint.

Delicious flavourful breakfasts! We loved our brekky here. It's got a great variety of Latin-American-inspired meals which all taste fresh and delicious. The coffee is great, too.

Excellent food, unique menu. Could be my top Brisbane cafe breakfast pick. In terms of the setting, north facing, accessible yet a relatively quiet side street. Subtle ambient music - appreciated, very friendly mature staff - comforting, but not overly spacious. I’d probably book if I was planning on going with any number of people. A nice bench above the sidewalk but I’d feel conscious about the room I was talking up if I was there to study at a table inside. Two dishes I've had: Aprea con Sobrebarriga Nutritionally, probably doesn’t need the eggs, the avocado and roasted sauce (chimichurri) are already two great, heavy creamy elements. In saying that poached eggs are my favourite, and tbh seeing them in the description was likely the deciding factor in my meal choice. The beef had a lovely tenderness as you’d expect but standout was the odd crispy end that added a great additional texture. There wasn’t an overwhelming flavour but there didn’t really need to be either as the roasted sauce, avocado and aprea all chipped in. Its hard to pick a stand out because the elements were actually so well balanced and complimented each other well; but!, if I had to pick one it would be the arepa, just for how surprisingly nice it actually was and the different texture bit brought to the meal. Petrichor's Patacon The crispy plantain was good, appreciably unique, at least to me, but probably twice as much as was necessary considering the volume of everything else on the plate. In saying that I wasn’t hard to get down and it didn’t feel like I was eating a plate of chips or anything. The freshness came from the super tender and moist chicken, avocado, sour cream and pickled jalapeños. A bit funny to eat with the size and texture of the plantain but civilised enough, the let down was just the ratio of these elements to the plantain.

Fine coffee. Food was hearty. The zucchini flitters were good and not floury, unlike many cafes we tried. Worth a stop by.

Good vibes, good food, very good service. We had weekend breakfast here, had their arepa, marranitas and empanadas, all tasty!
