First time ordered this. My goodness! Their food was just amazingly good that filled me up and still had me some left over for my work next day. Ordered this over the phone and they were very helpful and questioning whether I wanted it mild or hot as well repeating my order. Definitely coming back! Chicken 65 a must! Punjabi chicken was a hit also together with fish Molee. Would definitely be back and I do recommend! Lovely staff also.

Was a good restaurant once but not it’s too worse in customer service. Dishes became too pricey for the quantity served. Zero in hospitality. Restaurant must definitely improve in its customer service. The way how they treat customers is highly disappointing

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! POOR FRONT DESK MANAGEMENT!!
NOTE: I am writing this review not after one or two bad experience but several. Also, editing my review rating from 4 to 1.
Since kalavara is the only known restaurant that serves VEG SADHYA every week, the place is always crowded on Sundays and CUSTOMERS ARE TREATED BADLY WITH DISRESPECT (knowing customers will visit anyhow for food).
We have to keep staring at the ladies in front desk for water, plates, rice, cutlery and EVERYTHING!!!
Being frequent customer spending more than $100 every week, we were treated really bad by the OWNER LADY last week. While we got served with food, we requested her for plates, cutlery and water, for which she showed her hands ✋ meaning I KNOW WAIT. And, that's not the first time for us to see her showing attitude to customers. So disrespectful not only to us but all!!!
If you're going on a Sunday for Sadhya, you will have to do the following:
Wait 15 mins for seats (even reserved)
Wait 10 mins for orders to be taken
Wait 25-30 mins for rice and other food
Wait another 10 mins for Curry for your rice
Wait 10 mins for Plates, cutlery and water.
Wait , wait and wait until you get out of restaurant

Very bad restaurant, the owner is very rude and when I spoke to a friend of mine who knows the owner advised me that they use cheap quality meat from Inala and exploit students.

It is not the best but it's not bad. The naan was old in that it was dry and half hard, it's one of my favourite parts of the meal so I was pretty disappointed. Even though the food is flavoursome, I feel they have Westernised the flavours a little too much, I prefer authentic Indian. They provide excellent customer service.

A good takeaway place for all the usual North Indian style food (naan, butter chicken, korma etc) which are not my favourites. These guys also do some Kerala style food really well - beef fry and fish molee if that is your interest. <br/>Good fresh food and well made.

Stopped by while going to Ikea and had to do a review. It was great northern indian cuisine! Everything we had was so yummy! The cucumber salad was... whoaa! Yum.

Stop here for a great meal at a reasonable price. The food was fresh and favourful, the service was friendly and helpful. Convenient location too. Well worth a visit.
