Review Vineyard Cafe & Bar - Brisbane

I went to this restaurant for lunch today and was very disappointed. I have dined there at night some years ago and enjoyed the experience. Today's experience was off-putting. The service was virtually non existent. The restaurant was not busy. Nonetheless, my companion had to wave his arms in the air to try and get any of the staff to pay attention. Once our order was eventually taken, staff forgot to serve the drink. I ordered a seafood noodle soup. It came with 2 prawns. I don't think there is necessarily a quota on how much seafood there should be before you call something 'seafood ....' but I think most people would expect more than 2 prawns. Hospitality wise, it was a dismal experience. I would have conveyed my feedback to the supervisor when we left but frankly she only seemed interested in taking the money and did not ask anything about our experience! I have not been out for lunch in a very long time because of pandemic - this was very disappointing!

Was served by a handsome young man who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable on the menu, I overheard some of the other staff calling him 9O, it must be some sort of authentic Vietnamese name. The way he glided through the maze of tables to help other patrons at maximum efficiency showed his great skill passed down by generations. The food was great and atmosphere excellent especially when the waiter 9O started Bon Jovi on the karaoke machine. Couldn’t ask for a better experience, food and waiter.

Terrible experience we had today! Very noisy, we couldn’t chat with each other at all ! The soup tasteless, the beef quality is not good, no staff clean the plates, very dirty floor. The price of meal is very high as for the quality and taste. We left many food as not good. It’s not worth to try in this restaurant. No wonder the restaurant’s rate just 3.7/5, we never come back. Goodbye

Had my 40th here and staff were accomodating and friendly. Karaoke was a hoot! Perfect for large gatherings and well handled though beware, cancellations are your risk, not the restaurant’s - you’ll pay if people in you party don’t show.

This was the most disappointing dinner we have ever ordered. The honey king prawns were so over-cooked and dry, they were inedible. The fried rice had dry, chewy pieces in it and the sweet and sour pork was stodgy and gluggy. Such a shame as the food used to be quite good.

I have never had a bad food experience at Ben's. The lunch specials are incredibly good value and the staff allow for menu alterations if you have food allergies. It's worth noting that they have a 'one bill per table' policy.

We went there for dinner on weekend. I was very disappointed this time. First of all, we had to yell each other because it was super noisy there ,there were some parties. Secondly we ordered Vietnamese dinner sets but the waiter brought us Chinese sets . The food was so so, too oily , nothing wow. I would not go back there any more for dinner on weekend as it's far too noisy,I prefer to go for lunch which would be more quiet.
