Had my wife's 60th birthday dinner here last night with over 20 of our family and friends. Shared platters of breads and dips, char-grilled baby octopus and calamari as starters and then huge platters of meats and vegetables for an agreed upon per head price.
The food was melt in your mouth delicious! And fresh! And the flavour had me wake up this morning wanting more.
5 stars from me.
We had a group dinner tonight and everything we ordered was just amazing.
Flavours, textures, variety. Everyone shared the different dishes around to try some of everything and no one could say anything but wow about our food.
Our waiter was super attentive and happy to give us good recommendations on what would be good for us.
Everyone in our group agreed that we'll be back again.
Great food and drinks with great service will be back for sure
Bartender loves to show off and it shows in the cocktails.

What a great Greek dining experience! The lamb was so tender it fell off the bone. My wife had the octopus and she reckons it was the best she has ever tasted and was so similar to restaurants in Greece. Very authentic food and excellent staff who were so accommodating
Great little space. The saganaki and grilled prawns for entree were awesome. The lamb shoulder and souvlaki lamb melt in the mouth. And the warm baklava for dessert was perfect, not too sweet but perfectly perfumed. The wait staff were great and attentive and engaged our kids cheerfully. Definitely recommend .
After a short break in āretirementā, one of Broadbeachās most successful restaurateurs, Asem Othman, is back. The former owner of Rocks on Broadbeach and Bistro Blanc, which he sold several years ago, has returned to Broadbeach to open a new restaurant, āOn Fireā, in Albert Avenue. āI wanted to do something from my own background,ā he tells us, adding that heās come out of retirement to add a different flavour to Broadbeach.
Souvlaki's were amazing!
We went in for a later lunch and were not disappointed, not only was the food spectacular but the hospitality was ever better.
We loved the feta, and the manager mentioned that they had some previously bad reviews on the authentic greek feta they used and had recently changed suppliers. It's great to know that a business listens to their customers and takes it into consideration.
However with our meals we couldn't fault it!
Great job we will definitely be going out of our way next time we are in Broadbeach!!

Two of us made a stop here on our trip to the Gold Coast last year and loved it. This year, a group of us went back while on our trip and it did not disappoint! The food is absolutely amazing, the service is on point and the owner always makes sure he stops by to check in and make sure everything is going well!.
We go up to the Gold Coast every year and this is, without a doubt, a must stop when visiting.

We stumbled across this gorgeous little Greek restaurant. And boy are we happy we did! Honestly the best meal we have had anywhere. The lamb shoulder is to die for, the meat was so tender and fell off the bone so well, the bone was clean. The lamb cutlets again, perfectly cooked! Calamari yummy. Couldnāt fault any of the meal at all. To top it off the service was the best. They were busy and understaffed but you would never have known. I didnāt catch the waiters name, but the greeting, the smiles and laughs we got and had just made the experience even better. I can not wait to come back and eat till my belly explodes again! Thankyou for a wonderful night!
My heritage is Greek, my family is in Greece.
When i walked into On Fire, i was welcomed by Ash, the music was authentic, the vibe was fantastic and it reminded me of home (Greece). Since the pandemic i haven't been back home and this was the closest experience to it.
The goat was beautiful, it melted in my mouth. The lamb was soft, the chicken was great and the Saganaki with the perfect amount of honey lathered on top of it was something special.
Great service, great vibes and i will be coming back here every time.

An amazing experience from Ash and the team. The photos of the food don't do it justice and the service was spot on. Attentive without being too much. Recommendations aplenty on good and wine plus trying some Greek wine was a first and enjoyable. Highly recommended! šš
