Went here for Canada Day lunch and had an amazing meal! Please please please put the Poutine on the menu permanently! It's the best I've found in almost 5years!!!!
Apart from a very cheeky door man,I can not fault The Loose Moose in anyway. The wait staff,the food staff and the all over atmosphere of the restaurant is something to be experienced. I cannot wait to go again next time im on the coast. P.S, almost forgot,the pork ribs and sweet potato fries are to die for.
Finally a place that can make me an amazing burger without the bun !!! Others had proper burgers and pizza which was also great as was the atmosphere

Gluten free options and some really interesting dishes. Good and attentive service and a live band on Sundays.
Very lively place that attracts young crowd due to the live music bands that plays occasionally.
Go here for some drinks and light food and you won't be disappointed. They have some amazing beer on tap ranging from the ale to the lager.
For Food I tried the 🍗 Chicken Karaage which is a Japanese entree dish that has chuck of marinated chicken fried to crispness.
I would love to visit again for the live music with beer.
One of the amazing places, i have visited on my vacation , nice friendly staff and good to spend a eve sipping ur fav beer and awesome delicacies.
I'll admit that I have avoided this joint on previous visits to GC, assuming it must be a tourist trap due to the convenient location and kitchy look.
Happy to say I was mistaken and glad I gave it a shot today, when keen for a burger and noticing another venue I had sought out was closed. 'The Fisherman' is light and flavoursome, with perfect battered fish pieces. Perhaps a small size for the price, but it was enough to fill me up.
Just had breaky at the Loose Moose, $10 breakfast special was decent for the price and eggs were poached just right!
Coffee was also good - being a little bit of a coffee snob from Melbourne I was worried but my latte was great!
Service was also great, waitress was quick and attentive, and drinks and food came out quickly!
Would love to go back and try the dinner menu

Plenty of food options and an enormous beer selection. The staff/service is generally pretty good even when the venue is busy.

A lovely, relaxed place if you would like a coffee and brekky which was what we had. Interesting breakfast menu and caters for kids as well. We had the potato rosti, Golden Gaytime Waffles, kids pancake and kids egg on toast. All done perfectly well. A nice place with cool deco, with a bit of twist to your usual menu for sure! Will be back!
After moving to the Gold Coast from Melbourne, we have been looking for a restaurant that offers gluten free options AND flavour. Two things that do not always go hand in hand. We ordered two of their Big Blue Burgers, the gluten free bun was soft and tasty, the Byron Beef melted in your mouth and the addition of Gorgonzola and the sautéed mushrooms, just blew us away. Every bite was delicious. Add to that two tasty cocktails, an Espresso Martini and the Orange is the new black. Then we topped it off with the Gluten free Blueberry Maple Cheesecake. We could not stop commenting on all the flavours. Very glad we stopped by, we will definitely be back.
