Heard so much about it and I decided to come in a rainy day. I ducked down to the pastry store to get all to try: plain, almond, choc and feta croissant. By 7:40am there were Q of 10 at bread store, got 50% wholemeal 50% spelt sourdough and cranberry pecan sourdough. After all, sourdough is great but croissant is meh...highlight is supreme service!
I oftenly seen some cafe using Iggy’s bread, who’s Iggy why so popular. Then I was doing some research on google and found this place. It said it’s very popular bakery even people would Q since 7am in the morning and the breads would sold out before 1pm. So one morning we dropped by to buy some pastry for breakfast. They have 2 shops in same area by the way, 1 is the bakery and another 1 is for the bread. I bought plain croissant and au pan chocolates home cost me $8.50 for those means standard price not pricey. I was superloved with both of them, pastry was buttery, crusty outside and fluffy inside. No wonder this bread very popular. Next time i’ll come back to try another variants.
I’ve been hearing about this place for a while now, and not sure why I’ve never been until now. It’s now my new favourite bakery. You name it, they have it and it’s amazing. The pull apart bread st the counter, the chocolate croissants, plain croissants, spelt loaf. It’s incredible! Get in early though, it’s popular and there’s decent lines.

The sourdough bread here is incredible. Make sure you try the rolls as well...then venture into the pantry section to get some of the best almond milk we have ever tasted...made onsite with almonds, macadamias and dates, it is Devine! There are lots of other gourmet treats to be found in the fridges too.
The service is just ok and it is cash only which can be annoying if you forget.

Probably the best sourdough in Sydney. The small round white sourdough loaf is brilliant. The crust and smell is unique and makes most other so called artisan bakeries pale in comparison.

Really really good sourdough. Dense, chewy, flavoursome. They are so good you don't even have to put any spread or topping and can enjoy the bread plain.
what a lovely place! not too far from where we are. opens early in the morning. really good atmosphere. the staff members are very friendly. people just chat around. the bread is very good quality. we love darker grainy breads. there are a couple of choices. good place to get regular bread supply.

Iggys is infamous for its delicious hand cut bread and other baked goods. Located in bronte it is open tue-sun but be warned they will close as soon as they sell out for the day! We pre ordered bread rolls for a party on the weekend. For $28 we had a delicious wheel of bread rolls that were still soft even when eaten hours later. It's not hard to see why Iggys has become so popular and I will certainly be getting there early to grab some of their most popular breads.
I've often heard about the famous Iggy's that's been considered by many as making some of the best sourdough bread you can find in Sydney. Was great to stumble across their main bakery while having a walk around Bronte. It's also great to see them stocking a few quality artisan products from the likes of Miellerie Honey, Alto Olive Oil, Pic's Peanut Butter, Pasta Emilia, Jam Lady Jam, Meredith Dairy and Artisana Organics.
Great bakery making some of the best sourdough in Sydney. They've moved to 131 Macpherson St Bronte now. There's also great artisan products available on the shelves.
The best croissant I’ve ever had in my life! And I know my way around a croissant! The line up is justified as is whatever wait time you endure! The service was lovely and the croissants! Seriously, get these in to ya!
Iggy’s Bread is a very popular bread shop in the beautiful seaside suburb of Bronte. They make all of the products they sell in-house. Make sure to go early though because they sell out very very quickly. The first time I went was at 11.00am and they literally only had a few rolls left. And be prepared to wait in a very long line outside the shop and down the street. Worth the wait though.
Bread is pretty decent, solid sourdough flavour and good outer crunch. I liked the rustic appearance.
Sad that they only do croissants on Friday and weekends... I wish they could make them every day! still the best in sydney ofc!
The bread here is UNLIKE any I have had before in quality and freshness. The owners have created a bespoke and beautiful product which excels to the highest mark. The only negative is that they sell out of stock!

I now understand why everyone is queuing up for their bread - it’s delicious! I’ve been waiting in the line once to get a freshly baked health loaf which is absolutely divine and then I decided to queue up in the other line to buy some of their pastries as well. Both the plain and the almond croissant were bloody delicious and worth the wait! Will definitely come back.
The most amazing sourdough in Sydney!!
Make sure you get there early as they tend to sell out by 10am - the queue moves fast.
We are heading back next weekend to try out the pastry selection!
Popped by this arvo to be warmly welcomed by two lovely ladies, one of whom picked their fave loaves for me, some sort of spelt sourdough, I think? - In any case, by the fantastic freshly baked bread aromas wafting out of that bakery, I knew I couldn't go wrong! Demolished half the loaf already 😅 you can certainly taste the care and quality that goes into these goodies! Thanks Iggy's Bread, my tastebuds are rejoicing!
