Eight of us went there last Friday night. We were all very pleased with our meals. Delicious! Service was excellent. Best banana fritter too! Can’t rate it highly enough!
It is quite wonderful. The quality of the things they cook here is comparable to those by big famous restaurants that I visited in Hong Kong. The choices of dishes are plenty, more than ten dozens, I wonder how many years it takes for a single cook to learn so much. For many times, I looked into the kitchen when paying at the counter, the cook is always the same one. Another incredible thing is that, they have the ability to cater to special needs, like replacing allergens with other ingredients that are compatible. Perhaps the Chinese people sometimes cooked for Buddhist and Muslims.
Its dishes are authentically Hong Kong styled. Everything is thoroughly cooked inside-out and are in big sizes in relation to the prices. The ingredients are fresh and taste well. Just like businesses of similar styles in Hong Kong, the choices of order are numerous. Most are of common Cantonese styles, some are localized(for picky Hong Kong people, not for obese Americans) versions of dishes from other parts of China(Kwanghsi, Peking, Shanghai, etc.) and other countries, i.e. Singapore, Mongolia, Thailand, Britain. The cook makes things out of many livestocks - pig, cow, goat, chicken, duck... Some common seafood is also provided - squid, scallop, fish, shrimps... The take-away option is good news for those who want to avoid crowds for health reasons. It is also an isolated building, instead of being part of a shopping mall. During my visit, there were few who dined inside, but many ordered take-away meals. However, it is a bit sad that it does not offer the delivery option - they say they did not have much staff.
