Review Good Days - Brunswick

Really tasty noodles! Friendly service, can't book tables but there's a fair amount of in & outdoor seating in this small venue. Food is so tasty & the place smelt amazing. Generous portions. Small food menu + small drinks selection. I ate in but take away is available. Limited vegan/veggie options but options available were delicious. Friendly staff.

Environment is good for either private dining or a small sized party. Authentic Vietnamese food, very very delicious! Try out the beef pho or chicken rice, never goes wrong 😜

Tasty Vietnamese soups and rice dishes. Friendly service and vibrant atmosphere. A little pricier than other less fancy Vietnamese restaurants like in Footscray or Richmond. The place is smallish and can be squashy when it's busy. Be prepared to wait to get a seat inside or outdoor seating but it's worth it.

Simply delicious. I enjoyed the beef pho which was very rich. Quite a small tight space so might be a bit tricky for larger groups but I enjoyed sitting at the bar and watching the chefs cook. Only had to wait 5 minutes for a table around 12.30 on a Sunday. Staff were super friendly.

Yep. This is it! What a Phở! 🍜 Nice fresh innovative take on the old faithful. The silkiest noodles you will ever have, the most tender brisket, and richest broth. Such an awesome feed, was a great portion, with a side of spring rolls and a celebratory beer 🍻 nice. PS - get the chicken wings, you won't regret it! Edit - chicken rice and noodle salad are divine. Have been back >5x. Local favourite ✅
Sunny Days Melbourne
Good Days in Brunswick is popular with the local hipsters. Not being a local or a hipster, I walked in with some apprehension. ☀️The sunny bits: The decor and atmosphere was surprisingly impressive. The friendly service and simple menu made the initial process a breeze to navigate. The beef pho was delicious and the quality of the beef was up there. The noodle salad was beautiful to look at. The freshness of the ingredients together with the sauce made me very happy. ☁️The cloudy bits: Prices were definitely on the steeper side but you do get what you pay for. ⭐️The forecast: Sunnydays at Good Days equals happy days!

I have been to good days twice now, I feel like this is a restaurant that likes to the add their own touch to the traditional Vietnamese food. The beef pho is by far the most satisfying one. The presentation is stunning. Unlike the traditional one, the beef taste more like roast beef and it comes with two dipping sauces. The broth tastes amazing and flavourful. I actually drank the whole bowl and wasn't thirsty after that (other places either too oily or put lots of msg in it and makes me thirsty afterward). For the chicken rice, the chicken tastes good with the green sauce but the portion is bit small for me. Will come back for other food. 30/06/2022 edit: the fried chicken wings are amazing.

It's not uncommon for my wife and I to drive down to Springvale for a regular pho fix.. I tell you.. eating pho at Good days by far exceeded our exceptions. While being a different experience and slightly pricier.. you pay for what you get. Good quality meat, the beef soup had rich umami flavours.. Nice atmosphere.. Friendly and fast service. Really enjoyed sitting up at the bar and watching all the kitchen going on's. :) Next time I am keen to try the broken rice chicken.. And yes, the chilli decent hot:)

dayum what an experience! Easily one of the most expensive pho bowls I’ve ever paid for but putting that aside, the mushroom pho was sensational ! I went here for a lunch and decided to give the mushroom pho a go & when it came out it I was surprised at the amount of different type of mushrooms they used. Very different and very yummy it’s definitely worth a go when you are in the area, the restaurant has a modern yeah cosy feel which makes perfect for a quick enjoyable lunch in Brunswick.

Very rude service

Great food, many vegan/vegetarian options in the menu, quick service and friendly staff! It’s a bit small so it’s best to get in early or going in smaller groups of people!
Laura.kurth
Delicious food and cozy ambience! I had a rice paper roll as an entree (really tasty) and then the chicken rice (also very tasty and delicious). I also had sake and wine. It is worth coming!

One of the best phos I've ever had. Friendly staff, fresh ingredients food was fragrant and flavoursome. Would love to get everything on the menu. Loved sitting at the bar and watching the chef's create such amazing dishes
FoodieInMel
Absolutely love this place, great atmosphere and setting, the place is really clean and tidy, small but intimate. The pho we had were so delicious, and the service was very good.

This may be the most expensive pho that I’ve had in Melbourne. But for good reason. You can taste the extra love and the quality ingredients that go in to a regularly cheap(ish) dish. I will say that for $8 the two chicken wings weren’t that special. But easily overlooked when we came for pho! Service was kind and non-invasive. Will definitely be back 💯 thanks guys.

Fantastic place for a bite around Brunswick. Their rice dishes and soup dishes are equally good. It's a busy place, and be prepared to queue, but it is definitely worth it. The efficiency of the staff is pretty amazing to watch as well.
Emma Xu
Always come here for a bowl of hearty beef pho when craving for phos. The beef is so tender and broth is just delicious.
Kim
Amazing vegan pho, rice paper rolls and spring rolls. Loved it all. I think the pho is a bit expensive though. (I can get just as good at just vegan in Sunshine for about 11 bucks) I'd also love to see their menu expand with even more vegan options. They're really generous with sauces which I love. I'd definitely come back.

WARNING: Once you have Good day’s pho it will ruin all other pho for you! The fired chicken wings are also great along with everything else on the menu. 👌

3.5. Hipster Pho, an interesting Brunswick experience.
🍹 DRINKS: n/a
🍽 FOOD:
- "Beef Pho" $19 - the menu description is super fancy, but essentially tastes quite similar to your Viet restaurant pho, with the difference of having just your Angus beef. Missing though a lot of the other meats found in your "pho dac biet" (special pho). At this upmarked price, not sure it's super worth it but pretty filling and interesting nonetheless.
📷 AMBIENCE: dark, with bar seats, one large table for groups and families, and a few two-people tables. Fusion of bar, Viet, and upmarket dinner restaurant.
🧂SERVICE: busy, nice staff.
📖 LOG: 2019.07. came here with LN for a catch up/dinner

the bbq mushroom vegan pho to die for. not cheap but worth every penny in quality. a true master of viet soups. thankyou.
cant wait to try yr new place "good night"

Good days, evenings and nights !!!
I rarely get beef pho in general but this was the best I’ve eaten period. Hand made noodles and quality ingredients set this apart

Fresh and tasty lunch, if a little slow and crowded. The restaurant only seats about 30 with most of the seating on a bench looking over the kitchen or a communal table, so prepare to get cosy.

We ordered the beef pho and broken rice with grilled chicken. Both were flavourful and piping hot. The grilled chicken was fantastic, juicy with a crunchy skin. I would be keen to try it with the beef pho as another reviewer suggested. Unsure about the potato chips included on the side of it though!
TheyCallHimX
Little expensive for Pho, but the quality of the meat is some of the best I've had.
Broth is nice and the ingredients are fresh.

Its not a huge restaurant, so can't take big groups, but great for small catch ups.
Staff don't interact too much, but at least the food is great.

Wow. Hands down the best pho I’ve ever had. So much depth of flavour to the broth, and the beef was succulent and delicious.

Absolutely worth paying slightly more for a pho of this quality. Spring rolls and chicken wings were outstanding too.
LuciaEats
Agree totally with previous reviews - one of the best Vietnamese food eateries around. So flavoursome, your taste buds will be having a party. I’ll keep it short- do yourself a favour.

The beef Pho is one of the best in town and the mushroom pho is an amazing vegan bowl. All other dishes are just as good with a great fit out. Very vegan/veg friendly.

If you’re after a well made bowl of beef pho using quality ingredients then this place might be for you.
A little more expensive than elsewhere but it’s well worth it.
Recommend

This is my new favourite place, if you looking for a Pho you can’t go past Good days, I recommend the mushroom Pho . But my wife had the beef pho with chicken instead of beef which is not menu and that looked superb , iv been to many Pho place all over Australia but this is the one for me , Please try

One of our local faves - If you haven’t already, make your way in.
It’s delicious, friendly, fresh, clean and quick.
Good food. Good times. Good Days! 👌🏻

My friend invited us to visit this modern Vietnamese restaurant, I had beef pho, my partner had chicken rice, we also order chicken wings& spring rolls to share. They are all AMAZING! I really enjoy the beef pho, especially the beef pho, perfectly cooked, you can tell they took a long time to cook the soup, it tastes so good ! I had some chicken rice as well, the chicken is grilled and the skin cooked perfectly crispy. Me and my partner are really surprised and love the food !

The waiters are all really helpful and friendly. Only thing I’ll say that they can’t book tables under 7 people and the shop isn’t really big so might have to wait for a seat. We will be back for sure :)

Amazing food accompanied by great floor staff.
The free range ethics is a wow factor,. My partner and i travel from bayside when possible.
My only wish is that the menu was larger simply because the food is so lovely.
Keep up the great work.

I'm not usually a very expressive person but HOLY MOLEY this place is GOOD! Hands down the best beef pho I have ever had (by a long shot!). The broth is incredibly clear and rich in flavour, the beef is deliciously soft, and the topings fresh and plentiful. I also had the fried chicken wings which come covered in a fish sauce/ginger/garlic/chilli dressing that were amazing. I'll be frank, yes, this place is a little more expensive than your average pho spot, but if you want the best, it's well worth it!

Had a quick check on Zomato for a friend that was down from Brisbane that was craving Vietnamese and saw the good 4.0 rating. I had the beef pho and she the vegetarian mushroom. It was so delicious. It’s a really cute little place with a nice warm inviting feel. The staff were really nice also. Would defiantly recommend this place if you are looking for a delicious meal and have a slight hangover.

I’ve been on the hunt for a good Vietnamese place for ages! A friend suggested we try Good days as she had been there previously. The place is very small so there was a bit of a wait to get a table. The service was very efficient and the food was amazing!! I ordered the vermicelli noodle salad with chicken skewers and it was soo fresh and tasty! The chicken was perfectly cooked and the dressing on the salad was perfectly balanced. I will definitely be back!!
Bear Noms
Tried the beef pho which came with generous serving of meat but the broth was a bit too thick. My boyfriend had the chargrill chicken noodle salad which he enjoyed! More expensive than other Vietnamese but the portions are bigger
Hungry Piksee
Wow, how am I so late to the party with this one?! A complex and well-considered beef pho which has been perfectly executed. I couldn’t fault any of the elements and the quality of ingredients is unquestionable. I’m always skeptical about upmarket Asian food so only came here after the ramen place next door was full and so glad I did.

The broth is full of flavour and is rich but not overly so, and all the other ingredients allow it to balance with the freshness that you want from pho. We didn’t try anything else but the other menu items we saw looked like they had been treated with the same thoughtfulness and simplicity; the food here stays true to its roots. Think of it as home cooking, except that you happen to live with an experienced chef! Lovely staff, will definitely return.

Great place for vegan pho! Also love the rice paper rolls and spring rolls (so so yummy). Staff here are super friendly too which is really nice. Generally very busy so expect to wait for a table. This place is my go-to for pho!
Toby Chen
Amazing food with very reasonable price. Very accommodating for my order as well, and all the staff seemed very inviting as well as being easy to chat with. It gets very busy here at nights though, but they seemed to be very fast nevertheless and you probably won't have to wait as long as you might think. Highly recommended.

This is a great little shop with great Vietnamese food. The fried chicken wings are delicious as are the spring rolls. The beef pho is tasty and a generous serving. We also had the chicken with broken rice which is a tasty healthy option.

Best Vietnamese food in Melbourne. Wonderful staff, awesome atmosphere, nice and warm decor. It’s a perfect place. I love going here so much!

Omg the chicken and rice is to die for!! Definitely a must do if you are in the area or want to try somewhere new!! My favourite local!! Don't forget the fried chicken wings too!!!
Therese
The BEST wings I have ever had the fortune to eat.

This place is so wonderful - attentive staff - cool atmosphere and above all the food is to die for.
The wings were my absolute favourite and I had about 4 / 5 portions over 2 days.
Go here you will not regret it and like me I bet you will go back as soon as you can.

Good Days is one of my favourite restaurants in Melbourne. The service is always great and friendly! The food is always delicious and I can never decide between the mushroom pho or noodle salad as they are both so good!
Lolaraean9
I love this place! The staff are all welcoming and friendly. This place is the best on a cold evening if you want some hearty and delicious food. You can tell that the food is made with love. I think this is one of my favourite places to eat out in Melbourne. I have not encountered any problems here and will definitely come again.
Summer Rae
This restaurant has one of the best phos in Melbourne, I have been there several times and had the beef pho every time and I must say that it is delicious! Great for if you are looking for something warm and hearty. Would definitely recommend!!
Gemma
this place always delish, always fresh. this great little hidden gem of the north. sit at the bar and watch the magic happen & get served by the super friendly staff.
Dee Dee
Small but delicious menu and the vegan options are excellent, especially the spring roll noodle salad. Mushroom pho was delicious. Service is great. Just wish they could add a vegan dessert but that's more a whinge on my part!
Tamara
Delicious delicious delicious food here. Pho is so good. Loved the broth and beef was nice and melt in your mouth. Chicken wing is delicious too. The sauce was real tasty.
Service was great and wish they could have more seats tho.
Luna Chyld
Delicious food and incredibly friendly staff. The menu is limited but this wasn't an issue and made deciding easy. We sat outside and it was lovely for a midweek lunch with a glass of wine. We shared a plate of the chicken wings (2 wings) and each had the noodle salad with pork skewers, we were so in love with everything! I can't wait to go back.
H
The vegan pho was delicious and the broth had a full-bodied flavour. There were about 3 different types of mushrooms, some had an amazing charcoal-y flavour and some had a beautiful wood-y flavour.
I would prefer they didn't serve the hoisin sauce with a layer of oil on top. Also the serve of hoisin sauce is really tiny. I pretty much need a bottle of that stuff with my pho!
Wish they offer spring rolls as an entree as I always want to try them but can't eat a bowl of pho AND a bowl of the spring roll noodle salad. :(
Nico
This is a fantastic little Vietnamese restaurant. The menu is small but they do it VERY well.
I had the beef pho and I dare say its probably the best I have had so far.

The service is friendly and efficient, the music is great, and the whole place is very clean.

The only reason why I did not give it 5 stars is that they had some of their ingredients and prep on the floor. It wasn't dirty but as a customer, I should be able to see all that...maybe that is just me.

Nonetheless, I will definitely be returning very soon!
Amira Tecoma
Didn't plan going here but it was a lovely surprise. Tom Phat and other local favourites were full and on Friday night it was about half full. The staff were friendly and relaxed - it's kind of the vibe of the whole place. We sat at the bar so we could look into the kitchen - it feels pretty warm and intimate and unassuming. My mate has an allergy to garlic and a couple of intolerances and it wasn't a problem, the food was fresh and tasty - it was gourmet, just simple, honest, vietnamese with a slight modern/hipster twist. Our bill came to 45, with one wine and 2 mains. Was a really good night out
Beau James
Well here it is, the eighth 5 star rating I've ever given.

Though on my bookmarks for sometime, I finally came here after a round of golf with a mate who wouldn't let me order anything but the chicken wings and the beef pho.

How right he was.

Simply put, the best beef pho I've ever had with probably the most well spiced wings I've ever had.

Small wine selection but there's no need for something big. The whole menu is short and they do it well. Have been back about half a dozen times since and I've never had a bad time.

Only wish they would take reservations.

Heard and read about Good Days and decided to give it a try. Ordered the beef pho. First impression, the bowl was nicely presented. The broth tasted good, though a little too salty. Restaurant decor is nice and modern with open kitchen, so diners would get to see their food being prepared. My conclusion is the food is a tad expensive and for someone who can't tell the difference in beef, I rather have normal Vietnamese pho.
Sarah Wattie
I have been here 3-4 times and have loved it every time! The food is so fresh and tasty - nice decor too! We will be back for sure for mushroom pho especially!

A fabulous tiny Vietnamese eatery GOODdays is located in Sydney Road, Brunswick. Modern, immaculately clean, we sat on the bar stools overlooking the kitchen where we viewed each dish, from the limited menu, being prepared. The phở was superb .. tender beef with a rich, flavourful stock that made the dish so delectable. The young and friendly team seem to have the love for the food they prepare and serve at this very popular restaurant.
Ket
Food was delicious! The condiments went very well with it and it was cooked nicely. However, it was very expensive. I know it is a Vietnamese fusion restaurant but you could probably get something similar and authentic for much of a cheaper price. So that was the biggest let down for me.
Queen Of Food
Deliciously tasty and fresh food. Wonderful combinations of flavour and spice. I've been here a few times and tried a number of things on the menu and it's all delicious! Highly recommended!
Affogato Addiction
Very tasty Viet, if you are willing to pay the premium (for me occasionally, but not always). As good as pho you would get on Victoria St, with the $6 hipster tax getting you very modern minimalist decor, intimate venue. Very limited menu is great as makes decision making quicker. Large table available for up to group of 8 if you are lucky enough to nab it.
GET•IN•MY•BELLY
Even though you can get a bun bo xao down road for the half price, I'm more than happy to fork out the $15 it here. Small menu but every dish is quality. Love love love eating here. Eating around the bar. The fried chicken wings are great and all
Three Pho's are full of flavour . Again quality over quantity always wins out. EVERY ONE NEEDS TO EAT HERE!
Katherine
A small suggestion before my comment on the food, please change the opening hours on the app!!! It's not their actual opening time (see photo attached).

My boyfriend took me to this cozy Vietnamese place for dinner on Sunday. We were welcomed warmly by the waiter and seated at the bar, where we can see how the kitchen staff prepare our meals. Their menu is quite unique, there's only six things (I mean food choices) on the menu, so it's easy for people like me who have choosing disorder. My partner ordered chicken rice as usual and I had beef pho. The chicken was beautifully plated and the meat was amazingly tender. Both of us are not rice-lovers but the rice just tasted so nice with the herbs. For my beef pho, I didn't use the sauce cause I wanted to taste the original flavor of the beef, which just melted in my mouth! The broth was rich and full of flavors.

If you are craving for Vietnamese food, this is definitely the place to go :)
For The Love Of Food
This place does southern Vietnamese food well. I have been to Vietnam several times and the food here I think is on par with the great places I have eaten at in Saigon.

The price is on the pricey side, given the size of the shop I get they need to make a modest return, but the quality of the food out weights this.

The staff were very pleasant and attentive.

I will definitely be back.

Overall, good days was pretty good. I had the chicken rice which was yummy. My friend had the mushroom pho which was huge. Service was really good and prompt. I do have a bit of a sweet tooth so was disappointed with no dessert options on the menu.
Melbourne Epicure
Super cute decor. Very minimalist yet warm. Food is delish. Nice beer. Well presented. Nice service. I've only been a couple of times and thus only tried a few items (the menu is relatively small anyway) but it's one of our new local favorites. We'll keep you posted on new goodies we try but for now, it is definitely recommended.
Haeison Romero
What a local gem. The food was simple, delicious and affordable. A great place to sit outside for an uncomplicated meal and enjoy the bustle of Sydney road. Highly recommend!

Delightful is the only word I could use to accurately some up my meal at Good Days.
The Mushroom Pho was delicate and delicious. The perfect amount of you're feeling peckish. The inside is bright and the decor matches the delicate food they serve.
The staff were friendly and the open plan allows you to see your meal being made by chefs that look like they are having a good day.

If you ever feel like Pho in Brunswick, this is the place to go !
Gee
It wasn't bad but it wasn't good. Modern, overpriced take on a few classics. Started with the chicken wings and then had the chicken pho. Don't think I'd come back again. Pleasant staff though.
Yvolve
Love it. Mushroom Pho is outta this world. The noodle salad is also amazing. Friendly and upbeat staff. You may have to line up, but it's worth it.
Sally Tsang
First visit today with family. Loved the decor (including very stylish comfy chairs) and ambiance. Menu is short which made decision-making easy. Food was absolutely delicious! A notch above the usual Vietnamese (but also correspondingly priced). All in all a positive experience.
Angela
Beautiful fresh Vietnamese dishes. All your traditional dishes translated into modern fresh flavours. Ordered Beef Pho & chicken fried rice. Even though a bit pricey still worth it.
Sandra
Fabulous in every way - simple, fresh, delicious, reasonably priced menu, excellent service, fantastic interior. Not particularly relevant but they have the most comfortable bar stools in Melbourne which makes eating there even better.
Senem Döner
This is a great place! It is small, so make sure you are going early. 2-3 people would get a table pretty quickly but big groups maybe wait a little longer. For this place's menu, I can say "Simple is the better!". You must try their paper rice roll. A big pho will make so full!
Jo-A 81
Big recommendation for dinning in Brunswick, not easy to get a table in such a small space but definitely worth waiting for. One of the best chicken dish I've had in a long time, tasty, moist, crispy and perfect flavor balance
Nhasan1978
i'd like to think that last night was a one off and it wouldn't happen again but that is not the case

Two friends and arrived at the restaurant at 6:30 the restaurant was full I asked the waiter if we could put our name down the waiter responded with No (I had previously tried to book and was told I couldn't)

I said we would go out for a drink and come back to which he replied it will get really busy and it will be even harder to get a table

I asked how long the wait would be approximately given some people were eating he said he didn't know and that if we want to eat restaurant we would have to queue

So stupidly we decided to wait and wait and wait and wait at which stage four sets of parties of two were seated

We also noticed a couple sitting at a table for four they weren't eating they were waiting for their friends who arrived 40 minutes later

Other Things we noticed about the restaurant restaurant although the restaurant is fairly new the toilet is already broken but the most disturbing thing we noticed about the open kitchen was that nearly everyone that worked there either had long hair or a long beard no one was wearing hair nets or beard nets and the longer we waited the more disturb we were by this

After 50 minutes we finally get a table
We are seated and we order our food

The food arrives I take one look at my mushroom pho and there is a big long ( never ending) hair in the bowl They Replaced my meal and they charged me for it even after everything that happened to that point

Worst restaurant experience ever!!! Avoid at all cost!!!!
They have a really simple and small menu, but the special point is that they use free-range meats. I have tried their grilled chicken with rice dish which is delicious! it came with yummy sauce, fresh veggies and herbs - the chicken was nicely grilled. My friend had the beef pho which i forgot to take photo of - they used black angus beef which was good too.
Facebook User
I tried the Angus beef Pho, it was a good serving size, but it was the broth and beef that was a stand out. It tasted like home cooked Pho with a touch of western technique in the way they cooked the beef! The broth was full of flavour and the beef was so tasty.
The City Lane
GoodDays brings a much needed Asian flavour to Sydney Road’s ever diversifying food scene. The menu features a handful of Vietnamese favourites like pho, Hainanese chicken rice (com ga hai nam), rice paper rolls and chicken wings.

Ooooooh yeah. Luxury pho. Melt in the mouth black Angus beef brisket and sous vide beef sitting atop bouncy rice noodles and swimming in a rich, rich broth.
Gorgeously modern fitout.
Want to come back and try the grilled chicken rice, which came with a side of crisps!

Really enjoy this soup, so warming and fresh. Went to see if they were open today on this rainy monday morning but closed:( I go to this place at least one a week, favs include mushroom or beef pho. Friendly staff, takes Pho to anther level, I am hooked!Only Con: No spring rolls on menu, which would be nice additional side to soup.UPDATE: SPRING ROLLS NOW ON MENU

It's about time we had some authentic reasonably priced Vietnamese near Coburg. Love the fact that there is a small menu where they can concentrate on doing what is on there really well. This place is small and they don't do takeaway so go early if you don't want to wait.
Out And About
Yum! From the bar seats overlooking the kitchen, we had a full view of the team doing their magic. Every surface is spotless and there is a specific process for each meal that comes through.
I had the mushroom pho and my wife the free-range chicken dish. Excellent
Wyatt Griffiths
This place serves seriously amazing Vietnamese food and would highly recommend it to anyone in the area. Although the venue is small (meaning there may be a wait) and the menu is limited, both the pho and salad were incredible, reasonably priced and served by friendly staff.

Arrived at this tiny modern Vietnamese eatery for lunch with a friend on a Sunday afternoon and was amazed with the unique take on traditional Vietnamese cuisine Good Days offers. We arrived to full a vicinity but where lucky enough to not have to wait long before a table became vacant and we where seated immediately by friendly staff. The preferred spot to sit would have to be on the bench where the dishes are made, tossed and plated with love and care proudly using only the freshest, locally sourced ingredients. Due to Good Days only being open for less than 2 weeks we order off the limited menu opting for the Beef Pho that consisted of Victoria black Angus round and brisket sous-vide in a rich beef broth of marrow chuck and knuckle bone served with fresh rice noodles, pickled onion and Asian herbs as well as the aromatic noodle soup of the Mushroom Pho with a broth of mushroom and vegetables and a selection of grilled and braised asian mushrooms. The food arrived quickly in huge bowls steaming hot and awaking the senses from the amazing aromas of the broths. The Mushroom Pho would have to be the best tasting pho I have even eaten and was presented to perfection displaying the gorgeous field of mushrooms that floated above the silky thick noodles. The meat in the Beef pho was succulent and pulled apart with ease but the broths of both dishes where clearly the standout. Flavours extracted over hours of simmering made for a hearty, comforting noodle soup that will leave you feeling full and warm and fuzzy. Good Days has great potential and is sure to be a success in the future as the word spreads of the shear masterpieces there dishes, drawing customers from far and wide to get a taste of such traditional Vietnamese flavours in a stylish environment.
CHI@food
Best beef pho in Brunswick by far, broth was perfectly balanced and the dipping sauce is amazing goes well with the dish. Chicken and rice was amazing, tone of flavours. Love this place

Great Vietnamese has been lacking for some time on Sydney Road, Brunswick.

Good Days is a very welcomed addition to the strip.

With a succinct but incredibly well crafted menu you're unlikely to leave unsatisfied. The interior itself is done with warm bar lighting and a great sage green feature wall that runs throughout. I highly recommend grabbing a seat at the bar and allow yourself to get lost in the captivating process the staff go through to engineer these lovely crafted favourites.

One of the standout dishes (Of which I am yet to sample) is the Mushroom Pho, a completely Vegan option which is rarely available in your run of the mill Pho stops around Melbourne. Just watching the large King Brown mushroom being placed on the grill almost had me regretting my spectacular Vermicelli Salad (Almost).

All round a great atmosphere with great value pricing, I can see myself at this bar throughout these colder months of Melbourne.
Jen
Best pho I've had by far. So happy theres one in Brunswick now, i wont need to travel far. Beef pho was delicious. broth was full of flavour and clean, Beef, noodles, herbs every ingredient was perfect.
Bianca Roberts
This new place has hit the ground running; seriously good pho! Having such delicious vegetarian/vegan options at a Vietnamese restaurant is a real treat, with their mushroom pho not skimping on any flavour! The experience is furthermore enhanced with friendly prompt service.
Judy
What a place. Arrived just in time to grab the last seats. Queuing is the alternative but worth it. Rice paper rolls, fresh, tasty and a great starter. I had the chicken Pho, full of flavour, side dipping sauce was amazing. My partner had the chicken rice which was tasty, fresh and amazing. Don't be put off by the limited menu, it is amazing. Can't wait to go back. Staff super friendly.

Had a quick dinner here. Device was friendly and informative. Rice paper rolls super fresh. I had the noodle salad with pork and prawn. Again super fresh and packed with flavour. Tasted as good as it looked. Will definitely be back for the Pho!!

Lots of places do very good Viet food. But this place does THE best Vietnamese food I've ever had by a long, long way. The flavours, the presentation, the care... Next level. The broth in the pho is quite simply amazing. And the venue is straight up classy. Love it!

Came here twice in three days. Really fresh and tasty. The noodle salad wasn't sickly sweet which was nice. Good vegan/vegetarian options. Welcome edition to Sydney Road.

Super fresh awesome and healthy vegan pho. The vermicelli salad with spring rolls is also dope. Chilled vibe, friendly staff and lots of love and care put into making the food. A great new Brunswick addition.

Best Pho I have had. Amazing Chicken broth and excellent vegan options. Lunch menu is small, but amazingly fresh and really well priced.

This place is really great, really fresh ingredients and very reasonably priced. The wait staff were really friendly and the food came out quickly. Sit up at the benchtop and watch the food get prepared if you can, great to watch! Can't wait to go back again!

My partner and I shared a delicious mushroom pho and chicken rice. The place was full when we arrived but the wait time to get in was only around 10 minutes. Definitely worth the wait for a fresh, tasty, healthy meal. The staff were also very attentive and friendly.
I'd also recommend trying the sweet coconut water!

This place is incredible. The quality of the produce, the attention to detail, the sincere and genuine care that has gone in to every aspect of this place is very evident. Finally ethically sourced meat in Vietnamese! I had the chicken rice and it was perfect. Do your self a favor and get there, but you might have to wait for a table but it will be worth it. Promise.

A VERY welcome addition to Sydney Rd! Delish rice paper rolls, amazing chicken pho & very very tasty chicken on broken rice. The ginger, chilli & garlic side sauce really makes the broken rice chicken dish. The shredded pickled carrot was perfect. The menu is small however it's all very high quality. I will be back many times!

Best Vietnamese I have had in Melb. Great casual venue, good atmosphere, but its the food that is the stand out. The attention to detail and quality of produce makes this food amazing. Will be back for sure

Very simple menu, but the ingredients are top quality, and fresh. The treatments are traditional, no fusion rubbish!, and there's a level of finesse that you don't see very often. A very welcome addition to the area.
