A cool little cafe in Brunswick, I love coming here for my coffee fix. With a lovely feel, and a friendly vibe, Two Little Pigs is such a great option if you are in the area.
The coffee is excellent, and the service is quick and efficient. Staff are very friendly and hospitable and you are certainly made to feel welcome. I had an almond croissant recently from the pastries display, and it was fresh and delicious; but they also have fantastic menu items too. A top little cafe for a coffee break.
Not a bad spot for fans of pork, I had the pulled pork waffles and it was pretty good. Different, but good. Planning to head back to try the Croque Madam. š
Two Little Pigs is not very vegetarian-friendly, as the name would suggest. Although there are a few options, I've always stuck to coffee and maybe a raw cake when visiting. Coffee is always on point and the baristas making it are super friendly. The person who (I presume) to be the owner is also great. Maybe I'll try food one of these days, but can stand behind cafe for the drinks, sweets and ambiance.
Looks cute but boy, are they filling
FOOD: I ordered the Hotcakes (of course) and I waited around 20 minutes for it! I was their first customer as I was wandering around Brunswick and when I saw pancakes with peanut butter, I knew it was calling my name š When it came and after I cross referenced the menu description I was abit bamboozled. It was a huge portion, I have to admit and it was decorated very minimally and topped with 3 scoops of ice cream. It is apparently peanut butter ice cream however, I felt it lacked peanut butter flavour and tasted more vanilla than anything. Iām also not sure if they forgot to put it or I didnāt notice it but not sure where the salted caramel sauce is š
But what was amazing were the pancakes itself! I was shook to find out that the caramelised bananas were IN the pancake??? I was like OMG THIS IS REVOLUTIONARY! The pancakes were an amazing surprise and went really well with the more doughy texture of the pancakes! These pancakes arenāt incredibly fluffy but I think they purposely made it that way and I thought it went really great with the other flavours! Itās also $16.90 which is really reasonable for the portion they gave so I definitely think youāre getting a good value for your meal!
SERVICE: The waitress was lovely and one of the other servers was really friendly as well so I really donāt have any complaints!
Overall, Iām not sure if my palate was not up to parr but their hotcakes nonetheless is definitely worth the try and Iād definitely return for their loaded waffles the next time!
It was lovely saturday brunch. Me and my friend wants to try some good brunch near brunswick area since the weather was okay and i feel excited too especially hanging out with your friend is the best thing.. so i reached this cafe easily by using tram (no. 19).. upon my arrival, the waitress are greeting me nicely and ask me where do i want to sit. Me & my friend choose to eat in the outdoor (garden). The place was bright, airy.. and the ambience were so comfi and cozy, feels like home.. the waitress were also very attentive and friendly, and the food came out quite fast too..
FOOD
1. Pork Belly- slow roasted pork belly with cauliflower puree, charred leeks, chimmichurri, pearl cous cous & poached eggs
2. Crispy Pork Benny- crispy pork belly with pea puree, poached eggs, hollandaise sauce on sourdough
3. Chai Latte
overall, as you know from the name itself already tell you the whole story what this place specialise in.. the PORK! In my opinion, they got the best best best crispy pork in melbourne as for brunch. And consider the price, they give generous portion of pork. Even i canāt finish all of the things on plate, coz im pretty full. but it was my best āguilty pleasureā day for brunch. The puree too was perfectly made.. a bit on sweet side but its balancing the saltiness of the pork,so itās harmony in your mouth.. moreover, the pouched eggs were perfectly boiled, the egg yolk are still runny in the middle.. furthermore, the chai latte was okay.. i can feel the aroma and taste the spices, but putting too much froth milk makes it bland.
Thanks for the experience! Im so glad i come here and try your food! Iāll be back again... (soon)

One word. Delicious. Coffee was great but the food was and should be the highlight. Great little Cafe to go to. Service was quick too. Will be back for sure
A nice brunch place to catch up with friends.
Friendly staff. Relaxing and cosy atmosphere.
Close to Barkly Square shopping centre and other shops.
Can run errands and have a quick bite here.
i ordered the loaded waffle and it was really good. the flavours and textures balanced out really well. the waffle was soft and bland but it balances well with the chewy and salty pulled pork.
"Magic" coffee at Two Little Pigs. They aren't usually on the menu but has been a thing in Melbourne. I read that it is called a "ristretto" (restricted espresso) and they have a particular method and way of making it to ensure the best coffee and milk ratio or something like that.Ā
Not all cafes can make this so at my fav coffee place I just had to try it! The coffee is stronger than a flat white (what i usually order) but doesn't taste like a strong espresso. Maybe a double shot flat white. There is a slight bitter sour taste at the end, very smooth and more bubbles on the surface.
Two little pigs went to the Brunswick flea market and stumbled on the Two Little Pigs on Sydney Road.Ā Ā
The first little piggy had the Breakfast Board which had jamon, duck liver pate, fried and runny eggs, house made pickle, multigrain bread and roasted tomato which means the little piggy has satisfied the veggie intake for the day.Ā The first little piggy was delighted with the food cos it was absolutely delicious.Ā The platter also had half a sausage and fried Halloumi which made it a really filling and satisfying meal.Ā
The other piggy had the Two little pigs from the menu which was fried eggs, smoked bacon, sausage, herbed potato, onion jam and bruchetta. It sounds like your standard bacon and eggs on paper but the food was just really delicious.Ā Ā Ā
The two little piggies polished off the food and was really happy for the rest of the day because of the wonderful meal at the Two little Pigs.
