Amazing food. Unexpectedly amazing, fresh and authentic japanese and korean. Stumbled across it one night and was pleasantly surprised. Lovely owners.
We have been coming here for years as the food is wonderful. Don't let the lack of ambience fool you, it 's all on the plate! This restaurant is very clean and the service, friendly. They have regular clients still travelling from kew, where they use to be located. Try the kimchi, bimbim bap or bulgogi. It 's fresh quality food made with care. As for serving sizes , feel free to ask what they recommend and you won't go wrong.
Favourite Restaurant!. What a great night out! This restaurant has the most delicious food. At my most recent visit, we ordered salmon sushi, beef korean bbq and calamari korean bbq. Everything was amazing! The meals came out quick and the employees were all polite and friendly. The decor was very inviting and tidy. It's a great restaurant that I would recommend to anyone. It's a shame that it's not in a prime location because it has great potential.
Highly recommended restaurant. What a fantastic restaurant. Good food, freshly prepared and great value. The husband and wife team do a great job. Special favourite are their "Gyozas"!
Love it!!!. I have been going to Omogari since it was first situated in kew when i was much younger, I have never found myself sick of the restaurant or struggling for something different to find. For a very low price there is a great variety. I absolutely love the yasai tofu dish! great friendly staff and always a lovely dinning experience:)
Always quiet and yet the Korean food is really quite good. The sushi and sashimi that we have had is alway good too. An odd location prevents them from being busy but that is the only drawback. The staff are always friendly and the service is commensurate with all Japanese an Korean restaurants - efficient, friendly and attentive.
Great Fusion eatery. Relatively unknown therefore very quiet atmosphere. Great selection of everyone's favourites such as sushi, sashimi and teriyaki along with my favourite the bulgogi and unagi. Inexpensive and quick service, this place is a gem and still remains a local secret.
Good to Excellent Food. Drove past this restaurant many times without noticing it even existed.Then stumbled onto it recently whilst browsing around on Urbanspoon. Glad I did. Always on the look out for good eateries in our area.
With over 80% positive on Urbanspoon I thought it was worth a try. Very pleased I visited here tonight. Good Japanese / Korean selection. BYO and licenced.
Located in a small shopping strip near a busy T intersection. Can be fun getting in and out of the diagonal parking - take care - cars whiz past....
Gyoza's were the best I've had (and I've had a few). Sashimi was of good quality. Reasonably priced. Lovely lady ran madly between customers and the kitchen. Did she cook too? I'm not sure but excellent multi tasking here!

Our go to Korean and Japanese Restaurant. It’s so hard to find just good ol’ fashion authentic Korean food that hasn’t been injected with cheese everywhere. To top it off the couple running it have been in the business for over twenty years and know how to make their customers feel very welcome. Prices are great in ratio to the quality and quantity of the food. Definitely a must try for those looking for some decent Korean and Japanese food!
