Thank you so much for our amazing lunch today! The service was incredible and the food was beyond delicious. I couldn’t resist a vegan muffin on the way out and I am so glad I didn’t resist! the best vegan treat I have ever had! Will be a return customer for sure. Thank you

Took my mum here for dinner, loved it! Waiter was knowledgeable and attentive. Food could not be faulted. I’m from Sydney and eat at fine dining restaurants all the time and this was on par for sure. Pricing and serving sizes were fair. The prawns were a standout for us, never had a sauce like that before. Yum! Thanks for a great night.

Great restaurant off the main track. One of the best in the region. Excellent menu, well considered wine list and great service.

Wow what an unsuspected gem we discovered on our weekend getaway to Bundaberg! The venue itself was incredibly charming and intimate. We absolutely love Queenslander Homes and to experience this in a restaurant setting was a highlight. The service was flawless - very attentive, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Great beer selection and I myself had a mocktail consisting of lime, mint and topped with delicious sorbet. We had the Wagyu Bolognase with hand cut pappardelle for entree, I had the sweet pea agnolotti with sage butter and pecerino for the main. My husband had the 200g infinite blood wagyu rump with a marbelling score of 7+ from memory. The steak was cooked to absolute perfection. We love our steak and have experienced our fair share of fine dining. I must admit it really gave Moomoo’s on eagle street pier in Brisbane a run for its money! My partner absolutely detests pumpkin and to see him actually eating AND enjoying the pumpkin purée was incredible lol. My only critique is that the agnolotti was a touch too salty for my personal liking, although was still a beautiful dish. We then finished with the chocolate pot for dessert. Smooth, velvety and great texture. Really would of loved to try the labneh as a side but the meals were quite filling and the perfect amount for us! Regrettably I didn’t get to try the ginger panacotta - Although we did buy one of the ‘in house’ made Christmas puddings available to purchase from the venue. I’m very much so looking forward to serving this on Christmas Day! I feel the restaurant could really excel if there was some soft ambient music playing and maybe some comfier chairs. We would love nothing more but to return again in the near future. Thank you again for this delightful dining experience. Ps. Would love to see some buffalo cheese gnocchi and zucchini flowers on the menu in future ;)

We loved this location, so sweet and charming yet with a real fine-dining feel. The service was excellent - fast and efficient, without compromising on quality. The food was also wonderful. It can be a little difficult to find somewhere with a decent range of veggie options in Bundy, but Water St Kitchen has a great selection! The veggie options felt well-considered and as carefully curated as any of the the meat options, and certainly didn't feel like an afterthought as many other places do. We can't wait to dine here again soon!

I did not know this place existed until a few weeks ago and I am glad I tried it out! The waiter was friendly and attentive. There was many options for food, especially if you are gluten free. The food presentation was beautiful, a work of art, and so delicious! We sat out in the courtyard and the waiter kindly turned on the heater for us. It is a small and intimate place, so I do recommend booking ahead, especially if there is more than 4 people so they can accommodate you accordingly.

Water Street Kitchen has a smallish menu, but there is still something for all tastes. The food is fresh and delicious. The pork belly was one of the best I’ve ever had - full of flavour and cooked to perfection. The honey prawn with angel hair pasta entree was so tasty it was tempting to lick the plate clean! The cocktails were also delicious - particularly the lychee/gin blend. Lovely setting with helpful, friendly staff.

My wife and I had lunch here today for the first time. I was not that fussed. We don't eat a lot so we shared an entree, main and desert. I knew that the portions would be small and we were sharing but I was still very hungry after lunch and stopped in at rise the bakehouse for a sausage roll on the way home. Usually sharing just a main at the RSL is plenty enough for us. Veg and salads are an extra as is the case for many upper end restaurants, I probably would have ordered some side veggies if I knew how small the meal was going to be. We had the crab entree, apart from the tiny portion I was not fussed on how it tasted it was coconut flavored and I am not sure that is a match made in heaven. We shared the pork belly for the main course. It was ok, I cook it better at home. Didn't like the carrot mash, not that there was much of it. Desert was nice but I am not much of a desert person. I will probably try going back again, will order a side of veggies. The staff were very good and the service was good. The decor was nice but it is on a suburban street, so no view.

Simply amazing! Fresh quality ingredients, amazing presentation and great service. Friendly helpful team in an inviting relaxed environment. We have been 3 times when visiting Bundaberg and have never been disappointed. Picture of the French toast and salmon benny from our recent visit
