Great upscale dining with delicious cocktails. Prices are fair for the quality of food - everything was DELICIOUS. The decor matched the food and service, everything was top notch. Bookings are essential (even though it was pretty empty when we were there).

Absolutely the best night! Friendly and personal service, ambient and stylish fit out. The cocktails are outstanding! The food was beautiful, this is a place you can come and stay for a long time, settle in and enjoy the experience. We will be back for sure!
Food , 9 out of 10, lamb cooked to perfection but the sauce was to salty.
Ambience, walking into this establishment was so lovely, warm , clean lines, staff immaculately groomed.
However, unbeknown to us when we booked online we booked the lounge dining. This area is a corridor which leads to the back door of the kitchen , staff room, plus the restaurant toilets, where they sat us, not closing off the hallway door which was within 2ft of us dining. We felt like they did not particularly care if we were there or not bearing in mind the prices of the cocktails and food were exactly the same as front of house. We do not live in Bundaberg but wondered if this seating arrangement in restaurants is normal there. Perhaps the wording of Lounge Dining should be changed to more like “ over-flow” area! Apart from 3 tables for seating of 2-3 people against a wall and the other tables only suitable for having a casual cocktail this is not a lounge dining area.
Received a voucher for Christmas and waited till my birthday to use it lovely night great cocktails and interesting but great food platter was ample for two and tipsy oyster entree was yummy. Service was excellent

What a find this place is. We have been a few times now and always thoroughly enjoyed our evening, so we decided when our anniversary came around that we would try the degustation menu. What a perfect decision that turned out to be. Shelley was there (with her beautiful smile) to welcome us at the door and from that point on we were treated with 5 star service.
Eight courses accompanied with wine or a cocktail came and went and as each course was completed we found ourselves wondering with excitement what the next would be. We weren't disappointed, from margarita oysters to scallops to lobster and onto beef which just melted in your mouth and each course was served within a perfect time frame. The culinary skills of Bert's chef shone through as each plate was delivered to our table.
I have to say the whole evening was superb.
We have been to many restaurants and experienced fine dining worldwide and without hesitation we rate Bert's as world class and recommend you try this wonderful restaurant when next you're in town.
