Review Rabbath - Burleigh Heads

We intended to dine in but the restaurant was small, so understandably booked out so we got takeaway. Everything was delicious. Best Lebanese food I’ve had. Falafels were my favourite.

I'm biased: I love Lebanese food. Rabbath did not fail to meet my expectations. We booked a table for 6 2 weeks before. Their communication was excellent. Confirmed and confirmed again. The restaurant is small but a hive of activity. The friendly service is matched by exquisite cuisine. Everything was perfect from entree to Lebanese coffee. A very special experience!.

Our special night was made even more special by the restaurant Rabbath Burleigh. It was a special romantic Lunar New Year eve reunion dinner as well as to celebrate our 7 months apart reunion. The Lebanese food just blew our minds. Firstly, the owners Patrick and Renee made us feel so welcome. It was like there was nothing they wouldn't do for our dining pleasure and made sure it was perfect! My husband is allergic to most beers and have had numerous problems in restaurants just to be able to drink there. When they realized that he couldn't drink their beer, within minutes they sent out for grab to deliver exactly the beer he liked. We were totally blown away! This brought my husband to tears after years of fighting with restaurant staff who wouldn't allow him that privilege. Secondly, the food was just AMAZING! My husband who is very particular about food felt like he was a Master Chef judge savouring and tasting each and every dish with such delight. Now, he has eaten a ton of tabuole in his life but nothing like this. As he said, the flavours were just zinging all over his mouth, they even smoked the pomegranate seeds. They were so passionate about their family recipes that their food reflected the love and thoughtfulness that branded their menu. And when it was over, we really did feel like we had dinner with family. Thanks guys, we will never forget it. Food was top-notch! Service was immaculate!! Thank you so much! We'll definitely be back again!❤️ (sorry the review came a bit late as my husband was a bit delayed in posting and i realized he didn't post it here too but on his own fb page. we recommended a couple to your resto and they too were so impressed!)

We visited the restaurant for dinner a few days ago. The restaurant is a very small venue with approximately 25-30 seats. We chose the 3 course set menu for $69 plus 5% Saturday service fee. The first course was 2 Labneh and 2 Banjan crisps, the second was a small cup of Aadess lentil soup and the third course was 1 lamb skewer, 1 chicken skewer, tabouleh and bread. My verdict as a professional chef myself: Overall, the food was not bad but the price performance ratio doesn’t seem sustainable. - The size of the courses are too small for the price and quality. - The restaurant tries with the prices and portion sizes to represent a fine dining restaurant but it’s missing out on a few things: - If you have an open kitchen everything needs to be spotless. - You have 3 cooks in your little kitchen and everyone of them spends time on their mobile phone when they have nothing to do in the very corner assuming that guests won’t see them. - They don’t wash their hands before or after using there phone. This is a concerning point due to the fact that you are using raw chicken in your kitchen (cross-contamination). - I don’t want to tell you how to run your restaurant better, but one way to improve your value for money is to reconsider your staffing: you have 3 cooks and 2 service members employed in a small size restaurant and they all have time to stand around or engage with their phones. This indicates that you may not need all of them and adjustments would improve your prices, and the quality of guests’ experience and not lastly, avoid any potential hygiene issues (as they won’t have time for their phones). Good luck, mate. Response from the owner an hour ago Dear Brendan, thank you kindly for your detailed review. Which restaurant do you chef at? Regards, Patrick Hello Patrick, Thank you for your prompt response. However, name is not Brendan. The restaurants are located in Brisbane. Regards H.N.I.N

We have dined at Rabbath multiple times and it keeps getting better and better. My husband has a Lebanese background and so has a high standard for this cuisine... We strongly believe that this is the finest Lebanese restaurant in QLD! Patrick, the chefs and the staff are wonderful and the service is above and beyond. You will enjoy every plate, your taste buds will thank you!

After searching hard for a nice middle eastern experience, we stumbled across this little gem tucked away across from Burleigh Beach and opposite the main shops, we had a pleasant dining experience, Partick recommended us some dishes and we weren't disappointed, would happily recommend this place to anyone wanting a nice clean and intimate dining experience

Outstanding Lebanese Restaurant.🍴5 ⭐️ Excellent menu, super tasty and delicious food. I am slowly working my way through the menu. I have been there 4 times in the past 2 months and I am never disappointed with any of the dishes that they have on offer. All the staff, chefs & management are super nice and friendly. I look forward to my next visit soon. Ps their cocktails are not bad either. 🍸

I have lived in Burleigh for 30yrs and we are so so fortunate that we have so many beautiful eateries and coffee shops to chose from. So at the suggestion of my gf to go to Rabath I was blown away by the intimate vibe, surroundings and amazing good food. Also great cocktails and lovely selection of wines. (I had a really lovely NZ South Island Pinot). The food is extremely tasty and is presented with perfection. I had the grass fed eye fillet which melted in my mouth.... the Falafels were also amazing and the deserts looked fabulous but couldn't fit any more in so will def go back for desert! This place is a hidden gem! A must try! But u will hv to book and are two seating times 6 or 8pm! I believe their expresso martinis are pretty awesome too as they are made from their own coffee!!! Thanks Patrick and Pascal for a wonderful dining experience!

I was excited to see a Lebanese Bistro open at Burleigh and I knew it would be good, but calling it good just doesn't cut it, it was exceptional! The food is to die for and every morsel is made from scratch on site and so fresh. Sitting overlooking the kitchen and talking to the enthusiastic and extremely friendly owners and cooks Patrick and Pascal Rabbath just made the whole dining experience an event to remember. The most exciting thing for me was finally finding a good strong Lebanese coffee, with beans roasted by the Rabbath brothers, freshly made backlava and the best espresso martini I have ever had. I highly recommend this amazing Bistro to anyone who loves great food and great service, thanks to the gorgeous waitress and waiter/cocktail barman. I cannot wait to go back.

We ordered the 4 stages which basically lets you try everything off the menu. We couldn’t fault a single thing and it just kept getting better as each stage came out. Hands down the best steak I’ve ever had, it shouldn’t even come with a knife it’s that tender you can cut it with a spoon! A 5 star rating isn’t high enough will definitely be back

If your looking for something new, you need to visit this place. The ambience, the food and the cocktails, on point. Couldn't fault this place. Recommendation - chefs 3 course and the oasis cocktail

We were there last weekend and enjoyed a really fabulous meal. Every dish was truly delicious and we kept declaring it 'the best we've ever had' - I really couldn't fault a single thing (and I am fussy about quality food). Not only was the food amazing but the service was friendly, efficient and professional. I will be recommending this to friends and family and will definitely be back again.

Without doubt, my favourite restaurant on the Gold Coast. The food is incredible and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. Patrick is so passionate about sharing the foods and culture of Lebanon, and the enthusiasm is contagious. We regularly visit for dinner and drinks and have never been disappointed!

What a wonderful little restaurant. I like the simple, refined flavours made with love. I thoroughly enjoy the personal professional touch of the owner at arms reach, while you gaze into the kitchen over preparation of your food. Well priced, loved the "feed me concept" for $49ph + $29 for wine pairing.

Managed to get in as a walk in last night - had heard good things about Rabbath and our high expectations were exceeded.. From the attentive, knowledgeable but not overbearing wait staff to the stunning food the experience was more akin to dining at someones house than a restaurant. Loved sitting on the bar watching the food being prepared.. all finished off with a Baklava to die for!

Its our 29th Valentines Day together today and being Vegetarian we thought we'd try somewhere new. We love Middle Eastern food and so were delighted to find Rabbath. From the first connection to make the booking, the welcome when we got there, the intimate environment and friendly staff we had a very positive experience. And the food was Yummo...We travel a lot and this was some of the freshest and most authentic Lebanese food we have had locally. We had seats that faced the kitchen and chefs which was really fun as we got to watch them make our meals from scratch and have them explain the flavors and inclusions as they went. All over a VERY friendly environment and really nice food. We will be back!
