Review Bin 12 - Burleigh Heads

This place was coooool! The bar tender made me a special cocktail and it aas delicious. Awesome vibe/atmosphere and the staff were all super friendly. Very clean establishment and bathrooms etc. Worth a visit for a few cheeky cocktails, their Espresso Martini's are on point!

Great service and great food! We ate there tonight and while there was an issue with one plate they did everything that they possibly could to ensure we left happy - which we did. The floor staff are attentive and efficient, and the food is that little bit different and very tasty - especially the eggplant miso.

Outstanding service & fantastic food. The ratings were already great but I can't help but be sceptical. The ratings are all true - loved everything about it. This food is spot on - so much flavour. Well done to the team.

Could not speak highly enough of this joint! Zendi and the FOH team and the chefs out back just ace it every time! I was visiting from toowoomba about a month ago and was super super excited to dine again, coming from a hospitality background I felt a little annoying because I'd called probably three times in the 24 hours leading up to the booking to change the number of guests joining me and we also asked if we could grab a table outside since another group had left which brings me to the only two...i wouldn't even say problems we had...just the two little things that I noticed; we asked to move ONLY if we could and only if it was ok because again I know how annoying it could be, because we felt like we were sinking into the lounges which then made the table feel too high and couldn't sit comfortably and the waitress that was on the floor kind of panicked when I asked and didn't really know what to do but the bartender just oh so cooly walked up to Zendi and asked him about it and said it was all good no problems which brings me to the other thing; unfortunately I can't remember the name of the ladies that were on the floor that night and they WERE lovely and friendly but you could see they were a little bit panicky for want of a better word? There would've been 4 or 5 tables including us and they were running around like headless chooks or "busy fools" as my own boss says. They were basically literally running everywhere which made me want to get up and help them! But the barman and Zendi were so calm even when helping them bring out meals. The meals! Omg! We had the pork salad, fries, arancini, popcorn chicken and a few other things and 👏 Every 👏Single 👏 Dish. Was perfection! From the presentation to the flavour it was all there and all amazing and we even some how scored a couple of desserts for the table which were ffffffffrikking delicious! Thanks again to Zendi and the team for an absolute ripper of a night! Have been recommending you to customers of my own when they mention they're going down or live at the gold coast and I can't wait to be back in one of your seats soon ❤

Unbelievable service, good prices, great drinks and great food. Would recommend to anyone in the Gold Coast looking for quality food & drinks for a good price. The bar tenders even made custom orders.

I wanted to love this place. I really did. Buy I ended up feeling embarrassed for my friend who took me there. Honestly, appalling service and attitude from the staff, who clearly think they are too cool for the Gold coast (honestly)

Air conditioned and cool on a hot day. Pleasant staff and friendly. Beautiful eclectic food gnocchi, zucchini flowers stuffed with prawn, pork salad, etc.

Brilliant social spot in the heart of James Street - long, narrow modern interior and fantastic for a drink on a weeknight as well as a weekend. Staff warm, helpful and atmosphere is always vibrant!<br/><br/>They do have a few small bite dishes on the menu. They're not the cheapest, but the quality is superb. Parmy strips come highly recommended! Literally melts in your mouth.

A nice bar and restaurant and the food was great. Kingfish sashimi, duck spring rolls and the steak were delicious and the service very friendly. <br/>

I came here for a small birthday gathering quite a while ago (so the menu might be a little different), for a small birthday gathering with wine and tapas. A nice places with cute decor.   <br/><br/>The sticky soy pork belly and the braised cheek (?) are the two dishes that were most memorable. <br/><br/>We ended our meal with expresso martinis which were good!

Great little place with a nice atmosphere. Went with a large group and shared a few small and medium plates which came out well-timed. <br/><br/>The standouts were the zuchinni flowers stuffed with prawn and the duck spring roles. So moist. <br/><br/>The kingfish sashimi was very flavoursome too. <br/><br/>The only issue was that the waitress forgot to put in our barramundi mains, to rectify this they took the popcorn chicken off the bill.

We stumbled across this place while walking around Butligh Heads trying to find somewhere to eat and would definitely recommend this place. I had the braised beef cheeks which was aaamazzing! My partner had the sirloin steak which was cooked perfectly although he said some parts were chewy. We also shared the pork belly with pickled apple and crispy skin which was also really good.

A nice restaurant to come to with your partner. Food, service and cocktails were faultless. Will definately come here again next time. The prawn zucchini flowers and the pork belly were my favourite and my partner loved the 'little bit nutty' cocktail.

I love this place. This is my Friday lunch go to sitting on the footpath with a few beers and some lovely wines and even better, some great nibble share food.

I love this place. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious cocktails, awesome food, and an impressive wine list. All at a really affordable price. The soft shell tacos are possibly the best thing I have ever tasted! Highly recommended!

Awesome place for a drink and some amazing bar food. I love this place. I go back again and again. Great knowledgeable staff. They do things the right way. Wine is served impeccably and the food is to die for. Can't say enough good things about this place - just go and while the night away with some wine and tapa. The salmon was particularly good.

This was our first time at Bin 12. Every dish that we ordered was so delicious, we really loved our meals, the drinks were amazing too. Outer only complaint is that it was really busy in such a compact space that we could hardly hear each other talking due to the noise but everything else was great

Other patrons harassed us until we had to leave. The food and/or drinks may be good here but we never got the chance to try it. We reserved a table and when we arrived some inebriated patrons were sitting at it. The staff did ask them to leave but they refused to give up our reserved table and proceeded to harass us and make threats against those who were meeting us which would require them to move. This might be a nice place during quiet times but I'd avoid booking a table to eat here on a Saturday night.

Excellent night out. Took a chance on this place based on the urbanspoon rating alone. WAS VERY impressed. The place is only small and a booking is recommended if you are going with more than two people, but the atmosphere is incredible. Very vibrant and very hip it's a great setting for a night out with friends. The menu is all tapas and cocktails and everything we ordered was nothing short of fantastic (and our standards are already quite high). Very friendly waiting staff complete the experience.

Bad Service. Just wanted to say the waitress/duty manager ? of this restaurant was very rude to us. My friend and I have lived on the coast for 22 years and love Justin Lane and Ze Pickle so we thought we would try Bin 12. We had a nice table at the front and the waiter had taken our drink order and was about to take our food order when the duty manager or host? came up and told us the table was taken and we had to move inside. Now the table hadn't been reserved and a group of men came in after us obviously known to the host so she proceeded to tell us that they had booked the table and she was sorry because she hadn't reserved it. We were not impressed and decided to leave and go elsewhere as it was blatantly obvious that she knew them and they wanted our table. I will not go back to this restaurant again and as we are both locals in Burleigh will be telling others what happened to us.

Slice of Heaven in Burleigh. Simply love it. The best place to go for a well priced cocktail, incredible food and to relax. Staff are brilliant. Attentive, friendly, professional and knowledgeable about their products (cocktail list) and the food is divine. Can't go wrong with Pork Belly, Popcorn Shrimp, Oysters Migonette, Soba salad, Salmon, Parmy Strips basically whole menu delicious. Dessert ...the Panna Cooa is out of this world. Great place - can't say enough good about it. Would give anything for 'A Little Bit Nutty' cocktail right now!

Thank Goodness!. So glad this lived up to our expectations (recommended by another foodie) - plus we know the chef/owner. Been twice and it was just as good the second time. Service on weekend was a bit slow, but when the food is this good, on the Gold Coast, it will be busy, and there is only so much you can pump out of a small kitchen in a limited amount of time. Wait staff were very friendly.

Went there last night for my bday dinner and great service and yummy food ! The mozzarella balls were amazing and so was the popcorn chicken and pork belly ! Great place good idea , will come back

Taco Tuesday is amazing!! I've been wanting to try this place as it's caused quite the hype around town. Went last night when they do $5 gourmet tacos! So yummy! My hubby and I are hooked! Do yourself a favour and try this place!

LOVE IT. This place is fantastic. The food is delicious and the staff friendly. There are even happy hours!! Do yourself a favour and try the corn dogs. They will blow your mind!

My other half & I love this place! Do your selves a favour and visit this little delight! We often drop in for wine & dinner when we can't be bothered cooking & never disappointed!!

My partner and I have been wanting to try this place after hearing so many good things about it. Went last night (Friday) and it was amazing! Luckily I thought to book because the place was packed! The manager ended up seating us and went through the menu with us. Explaining some of the new dishes as well as the old favourites that are popular. We chose a mixture of the two and everything was so delicious! She also helped us pick a great Spanish wine that would fit our budget. To the manager, if you're reading this, you guys are amazing! We wanted to say bye because we felt like we knew you in the end, but you looked very busy :) Thank you for a great night! After incorrectly taking our order, the American waitress insisted that it would not be changed as the docket said "2 pork bellies..." not pork ribs. Sorry, but the situation was handled extremely poorly and as a paying customer you should be given what you order regardless of "what the docket says." Poor form.

Great food, service, price. This is my second time to Bin12, Once again the service was amazing. Food is fabulous, trendy tapas keeps everyone happy and hip pocket happier. The wine list is good. The cocktails are even better. The knowledgeable staff know the menu. A great place to start or finish the night.

Oh yeah. Great spot, even better drinks and the food is sensational, plenty of variety, 3 or 4 dishes for everyones differing tastes. Staff are fantastic as well. Get in there....

What an awesome new restaurant! Just what Burleigh needed. The cocktails are delicious, especially the one with kiwi fruit, and the food is amazing! You have to try the pork belly and the sashimi! My new favourite place!

But just because it’s street food, don’t think Bin 12’s food is ordinary! Using classical techniques and creative flair, the two inspired chefs have given each dish a makeover, making Bin 12’s menu perfect grazing fare for foodies. We tuck into White fish sashimi with pickled onion and citrus vinegar; Fried jamon and mozzarella balls with citrus aioli; Sticky soy pork belly with mustard apple pickle; Kingfish Crudo with pork dust, lemon and olive oil; and Chilli and garlic glazed pork ribs. Washed down with a couple of wines, it’s delicious food, ideal to share, melting into the night.
