Air conditioned and cool on a hot day. Pleasant staff and friendly. Beautiful eclectic food gnocchi, zucchini flowers stuffed with prawn, pork salad, etc.
Brilliant social spot in the heart of James Street - long, narrow modern interior and fantastic for a drink on a weeknight as well as a weekend. Staff warm, helpful and atmosphere is always vibrant!
They do have a few small bite dishes on the menu. They're not the cheapest, but the quality is superb. Parmy strips come highly recommended! Literally melts in your mouth.
A nice bar and restaurant and the food was great. Kingfish sashimi, duck spring rolls and the steak were delicious and the service very friendly.
I came here for a small birthday gathering quite a while ago (so the menu might be a little different), for a small birthday gathering with wine and tapas. A nice places with cute decor.
The sticky soy pork belly and the braised cheek (?) are the two dishes that were most memorable.
We ended our meal with expresso martinis which were good!
Great little place with a nice atmosphere. Went with a large group and shared a few small and medium plates which came out well-timed.
The standouts were the zuchinni flowers stuffed with prawn and the duck spring roles. So moist.
The kingfish sashimi was very flavoursome too.
The only issue was that the waitress forgot to put in our barramundi mains, to rectify this they took the popcorn chicken off the bill.
We stumbled across this place while walking around Butligh Heads trying to find somewhere to eat and would definitely recommend this place. I had the braised beef cheeks which was aaamazzing! My partner had the sirloin steak which was cooked perfectly although he said some parts were chewy. We also shared the pork belly with pickled apple and crispy skin which was also really good.
A nice restaurant to come to with your partner. Food, service and cocktails were faultless. Will definately come here again next time. The prawn zucchini flowers and the pork belly were my favourite and my partner loved the 'little bit nutty' cocktail.
I love this place. This is my Friday lunch go to sitting on the footpath with a few beers and some lovely wines and even better, some great nibble share food.
I love this place. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious cocktails, awesome food, and an impressive wine list. All at a really affordable price. The soft shell tacos are possibly the best thing I have ever tasted! Highly recommended!
Awesome place for a drink and some amazing bar food. I love this place. I go back again and again. Great knowledgeable staff. They do things the right way. Wine is served impeccably and the food is to die for. Can't say enough good things about this place - just go and while the night away with some wine and tapa. The salmon was particularly good.
This place was coooool! The bar tender made me a special cocktail and it aas delicious. Awesome vibe/atmosphere and the staff were all super friendly. Very clean establishment and bathrooms etc. Worth a visit for a few cheeky cocktails, their Espresso Martini's are on point!
Great service and great food! We ate there tonight and while there was an issue with one plate they did everything that they possibly could to ensure we left happy - which we did. The floor staff are attentive and efficient, and the food is that little bit different and very tasty - especially the eggplant miso.
Outstanding service & fantastic food. The ratings were already great but I can't help but be sceptical. The ratings are all true - loved everything about it. This food is spot on - so much flavour. Well done to the team.

Could not speak highly enough of this joint! Zendi and the FOH team and the chefs out back just ace it every time!
I was visiting from toowoomba about a month ago and was super super excited to dine again, coming from a hospitality background I felt a little annoying because I'd called probably three times in the 24 hours leading up to the booking to change the number of guests joining me and we also asked if we could grab a table outside since another group had left which brings me to the only two...i wouldn't even say problems we had...just the two little things that I noticed; we asked to move ONLY if we could and only if it was ok because again I know how annoying it could be, because we felt like we were sinking into the lounges which then made the table feel too high and couldn't sit comfortably and the waitress that was on the floor kind of panicked when I asked and didn't really know what to do but the bartender just oh so cooly walked up to Zendi and asked him about it and said it was all good no problems which brings me to the other thing; unfortunately I can't remember the name of the ladies that were on the floor that night and they WERE lovely and friendly but you could see they were a little bit panicky for want of a better word? There would've been 4 or 5 tables including us and they were running around like headless chooks or "busy fools" as my own boss says. They were basically literally running everywhere which made me want to get up and help them! But the barman and Zendi were so calm even when helping them bring out meals.
The meals! Omg! We had the pork salad, fries, arancini, popcorn chicken and a few other things and 👏 Every 👏Single 👏 Dish. Was perfection! From the presentation to the flavour it was all there and all amazing and we even some how scored a couple of desserts for the table which were ffffffffrikking delicious!
Thanks again to Zendi and the team for an absolute ripper of a night! Have been recommending you to customers of my own when they mention they're going down or live at the gold coast and I can't wait to be back in one of your seats soon ❤
Unbelievable service, good prices, great drinks and great food. Would recommend to anyone in the Gold Coast looking for quality food & drinks for a good price. The bar tenders even made custom orders.
