Great music and great family service.
The food was tasty and the drinks were good.
Maybe on the small side that's all.
Overall , great little place and fun vibe.
I was here in April with some friends. We had a few cocktails each that were rather tasty, and the live music was wonderful and made our night. The staff was professional but friendly which is something I really like. All in all - a great night out and a warm recommendation!
Harvest Moon, is tucked away in one of Burleigh Heads iconic arcades. Having revamped the old walkway to a cafe/ bar music hub, the space is considered by many to be one of the best coffee & night spots in Burleigh- depending on whether you love the Gold Coasts morning culture or your more of a wine and dine food lover.
Fitted out with a cafe, outside nook eating area and a more traditional cocktail bar, Harvest Moon is a triple threat in the burgeoning cafe/restaurant/bar scene in Burleigh Heads.
During the day the highly competent and friendly Manager and her happy staff will provide excellent attentive service; having mastered the elusive old fashioned style of service with a modern edge. They pour a smooth organic coffee and serve a Middle Eastern influenced fusion style menu that arrives promptly with a visual aesthetic that smacks of authenticity and attention to detail.
At night, acoustic music trills flow effortlessly through the space, captured and spun by the tunnel arcade towards the street, the soft light inviting you into the unique little enclave that is Harvest Moon.
Having recently won the best Cafe Martini on the Gold Coast, the cafe/wine bar offers an array of quality driven cocktail creations, locally brewed craft beers and a selection of fine wines including wines from the Margaret River region. The rich, smooth coffee is traditionally roasted by Windomal's Serge Siboni, a master roaster since 1972, French Siboni typically chooses coffee houses that 'know how to make coffee' to sell his particular blend.
Arrive with a group, as a couple or on your own as the space offers a number of little eclectic table options complete with flouncing pillows and natural plant decor in varying shaped glass bowls. Lovers sit side by side watching passers by at the bar style tables overlooking the walkway, while serious coffee/ wine drinkers sit at tables for two, cosseted by cushions, contemplating the flavours of their beverages and exotic dishes.
Standouts- Service, food presentation, atmosphere
Negatives- They are closed on Mondays and Tuesday's, so don't get caught out if your heading back for coffee, like I did...
