Great music and great family service.
The food was tasty and the drinks were good.
Maybe on the small side that's all.
Overall , great little place and fun vibe.
I was here in April with some friends. We had a few cocktails each that were rather tasty, and the live music was wonderful and made our night. The staff was professional but friendly which is something I really like. All in all - a great night out and a warm recommendation!
Harvest Moon, is tucked away in one of Burleigh Heads iconic arcades. Having revamped the old walkway to a cafe/ bar music hub, the space is considered by many to be one of the best coffee & night spots in Burleigh- depending on whether you love the Gold Coasts morning culture or your more of a wine and dine food lover.
Fitted out with a cafe, outside nook eating area and a more traditional cocktail bar, Harvest Moon is a triple threat in the burgeoning cafe/restaurant/bar scene in Burleigh Heads.
During the day the highly competent and friendly Manager and her happy staff will provide excellent attentive service; having mastered the elusive old fashioned style of service with a modern edge. They pour a smooth organic coffee and serve a Middle Eastern influenced fusion style menu that arrives promptly with a visual aesthetic that smacks of authenticity and attention to detail.
At night, acoustic music trills flow effortlessly through the space, captured and spun by the tunnel arcade towards the street, the soft light inviting you into the unique little enclave that is Harvest Moon.
Having recently won the best Cafe Martini on the Gold Coast, the cafe/wine bar offers an array of quality driven cocktail creations, locally brewed craft beers and a selection of fine wines including wines from the Margaret River region. The rich, smooth coffee is traditionally roasted by Windomal's Serge Siboni, a master roaster since 1972, French Siboni typically chooses coffee houses that 'know how to make coffee' to sell his particular blend.
Arrive with a group, as a couple or on your own as the space offers a number of little eclectic table options complete with flouncing pillows and natural plant decor in varying shaped glass bowls. Lovers sit side by side watching passers by at the bar style tables overlooking the walkway, while serious coffee/ wine drinkers sit at tables for two, cosseted by cushions, contemplating the flavours of their beverages and exotic dishes.
Standouts- Service, food presentation, atmosphere
Negatives- They are closed on Mondays and Tuesday's, so don't get caught out if your heading back for coffee, like I did...
My friends and I were hungry in Burleigh so walked around to see where we can eat. At the corner of my eye there was the Harvest moon. We sat down and felt like we were in a hidden gem, and we weren't wrong.
Ordered an omelette and it just melted in my mouth. My friend ordered some meat skewers which was nice too.
They only opened a few months ago so I hope they do well!
Keep it up!
This is a great place for a casual drink and bite to eat. The menu and wine list is a great combination. It's very well priced and great atmosphere. Definitely worth trying.
We had breakfast here on a recent visit to the Gold Coast. We were very impressed with the breakfast offerings. I had the baked eggs which were done to perfection & loved the addition of chilli & that hint of cinamon (I requested the chilli!) with chunky veg mix & tomatoes. Partner enjoyed an omelette which was fluffy & not undercooked. Hate wet underdone omelettes with watery fillings gushing out. Coffee was fine after the first attempt (which was cold after ordering it hot)
Dessert is superb. Try the salted caramel cro-bar, it is absolutely spot on and delicious! Jason was friendly to offer us some free treats after our drinks, salted caramel iced chocolate, which tasted like ice-cream. Definitely coming back - loving the relaxed atmosphere and minimalistic theme.
Beautiful food! I cannot express how friendly and helpful the staff are at harvest moon! The atmosphere was sensational especially with the live music! A must try! I loved the cocktails!
Perfect example of " a little hospitality gies a long way!" Went to Harvest Moon mainly because Google mentioned it it offered WiFi. I was pleasantly surprised by the decor and design! I was upfront with the waitress about the fact I was hoping to skype my boyfriend (who is currently in India) and asked for a quiet spot. She didn't hestitate nor treat me like a nuisance. They readily helped and tried their best to seat later diners away from me as I spoke on the phone. The place was quite full by the time I left and I observed staff remain friendly and accommodating with every customer. There was a chilled vibe and laughter filled the room! I was very tempted to eat as their menu looked devine but unfortunately didn't get the chance before I had to leave! I hope I get a chance to revisit before returning home! 10/10 would recommend for the staff & atmosphere alone!
Exceptional!! Warm, friendly, welcoming service... Excellent coffee made by passionate barristas, REAL homemade food born from a desire to provide to customers preference - Delicious...
Can't wait to head down Friday evening for the Tapas, craft beers & live music :)
Love this place! Everything put together makes it such an awesome place: the food, the drinks and the atmosphere! The live music on the weekends combined with happy hour drinks is also a huge plus. One of my favourite places on the Coast.
