A must for meat lovers ! We were so happy to snag a table for 5 without a booking on a busy Friday night! It was outside on a chilly evening, but there were gas heaters near the tables, so we were comfortable enough. Very friendly service, the menu, which doubles as your placemat, reads well and has options for non-meat eaters. Complimentary sour dough bread was served while we waited for our meals to arrive. Presentation was excellent. Perfectly dressed mesclun salad with crunchy discs of radish accompanied my rump steak which had that unmistakable char of a well seasoned grill. The bottomless dishes of 'frites' were both crunchy and generous. On the recommendation of our server Brittany, we ordered a side of green beans which arrived hot and well seasoned and were yum! Our only small criticism would be the inconsistent cut/size of the scotch fillet steaks 3 of our guests ordered. Some thick, some thin, but still cooked perfectly. Harry's is a slick act and we'll definitely be back to sample more of their meaty fare :-)
Delicious! Amazing service and wouldn’t feel it’s right to put you in the category of a ‘bistro’.
The only Bistro feeling is your menu placemats otherwise you are a restaurant with amazing service and food! Glad we were given the opportunity to come and dine here today. As a result we ‘found you’ and without a doubt we’ll be back again and will be telling all our friends!
What a secret treasure! Have just had the most delightful service, food and banter at Harry's Steak Bistro. The Wagyu beef rolls with truffle aioli were amazing, to then be followed by slow roasted grass fed free range eye fillet steak that just melts in the mouth was outstanding. We are now advocates for medium to rare. And that's something for a fussy 16 year old. What a lovely evening. Service exceeded all our expectations. Thanks to all the team at Harry's.
