My Sheppard pie looks sloppy in the pic but that was mostly my fault - it was actually awesome. My mate had the vegan lentil pie and said the flavour that hit his meat-free mouth was an incredible taste explosion
Steak and Mushroom Pie, ~$6 byo Sauce.
First bite was a bomb of flaky and soft pastry and a massive savoury hit of umami. Kiss of mushroom and meat. Not chunky not fine just spot on. Rich, thick, well seasoned gravy. Only negative is the soft doughy base, this could be greatly improved if I cooked it myself. I've got a Bushman pie cold to cook later. Stay tuned for that.
The pie ate very well, flaky pastry was spilled. Worth it.
