Got dinner here for the family, very generous portions especially with the chips, no one went to bed hungry. The squid was a stand out super tender and melt in your mouth. The service was really good, they were super busy and told us it would be a 20min wait and they were bang on time wise. Worth it.

Been eating fish and chips for 67 years and I can honestly say these were the best I’ve had. The fish (snapper) was nice. The batter was nice. The chips were nice. The portion was great.
We ordered fish and chips for two, which consisted of 5 good size pieces of fish and a mound of chips. What more could you want? Well done, Gropers fish and chips.
Will definitely be back when next in the area.

The best fish and chips ever, I’ve been going for over 6 years now and would highly recommend it to anyone who likes non greasy fish and and the greatest chips, always outstanding quality and value for money. Because they’re so busy at times it’s best to order ahead or be happy to sit in the waiting area which is open and friendly and clean. I don’t care how long I wait it’s worth it…

Where do I start...... I have been going to gropers for ever since i can remember and they have never disappointed you ask me the best fish and chip store in the whole of Australia. Very very generous portion sizing, Cheap prices, Tasty and always fresh food, great customer service, always on time, tidy and clean store. Keep up the for ever going great work!!!!

Were good, except we asked for no cinnamon sugar on the pineapple but they still put some on.

This was truly the worst experience I've ever received... Firstly we didn't get what we ordered and instead of wedges they gave us GREEN chicken nuggets and proceeded to tell us when we returned that they had run out of wedges so only gave us $5 worth of the nuggets to replace the $18 worth of chicken wedges!!! The staff were young and extremely aggressive and VERY RUDE!!! The manager stood back and let her staff talk to me the way they did! I was polite and just ask for my money back to which I was called a f#*€n bitch! I have never been so disgusted with service and would recommend you do not waste your money on below par food! I Supose if the manager has such little regard for how her staff serve her customers it makes you wonder how clean her premises and quality of the food is!!

Ordered chips, a pineapple fritter, and a cornjack. Service was quick and efficient, chips were delicious and just the right amount for two people. Food was also very affordable.

Substandard service, ok food. Ordered fish and chips ahead over the phone. They tell me 40 minute wait. When I turn up I have another 30 minute wait when they say they have no record of order, with barely an apology.Food is ok, though very oily.
