Exceptional food and friendly staff. We loved this place so much we ate there twice during our week stay at Byron including for my partners birthday. The staff were extremely accomodating and made us feel welcomed. Some of the best pasta I have ever eaten. It is reasonably priced for the high quality of the food. Will definitely be visiting again next time we are back in Byron and I am going to be recommending this place to all friends and family.

Matches the private high school girl level of pretentious that is Byron Bay. With dateable waitresses, still expect to go home via Guzman y Gomez after a $100 per head three course meal.

Great food, fine dining, great service!

Nice and good an ambience restaurant. Ordered a pasta and grillded a sole fish. The pasta was nice but fish was so terrible. Lot of fishy smells and couldnt finish. Told waitress to tell the chef but her respond was she hasn't tried yet. Not professional enough from such a good Italian restaurant.

We had a wonderful meal tonight could not fault it. We had an entree and 2 pasta meals it was all perfect. The service was great, would highly recommend it.

I honestly have to say this restaurant provided one of the best meals and experiences I've had I've many many years of dining out including some of supposedly some of the world's best, and this Italian restaurant in Byron Bay, 5⭐

The resto always seems busy so we wanted to try it. The main was excellent, the sauce slightly on sweet side, but still good. The sorbet was passable, did not taste like sorbet, more like watery gelato. The ambiance is good, the space does reverberate sound, so it can get noisy when busy. The wine list was $$$$. You will not meet many locals here.

Couldn’t recommend highly enough! The staff were so accommodating on our recent holiday. After an awful experience at another local restaurant the team here went above and beyond to quickly pull together a table of 9. My 18mo son was well and truly past it by the time we arrived and they saw to bringing his meal out pronto. All the food was second to none! Will recommend to all my friends and will certainly pop in if ever I’m in Byron again. Thanks team! Bellissimo!

Cocktails were amazing! Starters also very yummy!Mains very average. We had the slow lamb cooked & Lasagna. There was no tomato sauce on the lasagne at all! Not traditional italian food. Overpriced for what you get.. sharing a space with pub next door. $125 for two..

Food and drinks were great. Service was lacking. Came in with my partner, both local hoslitality workers and don't often get nights off together as a treat. We thoroughly enjoyed our food, however it took a long time for our empty plates to be cleared. We wanted to finish on another drink and waited close to 15 minutes (after having to ask for the drink menu again) while staff walked past, even making eye contact with us while clearing other tables, so chose to leave and go elsewhere for more cocktails. Being a relatively quiet night we found the service to be quite a let down.

Great food, great service, very allergy friendly. Thank you to wait staff, kitchen and chef for being so careful and accommodating. It is very, very much appreciated!

My First ever review of a restaurant. Feeling compelled to mention the service was poor. No complaints about the food although I wouldn’t rave about it (I’m thinking 6/10 ish) but the service was hopeless for a venue trying to be high end. We are not needy diners but geez... could not attract anyone’s attention for drinks (which was annoying throughout- and note we were paying $16 for their nice glasses of wine). ultimately Left earlier than we would have liked because we’d been waiting again for maybe 20 minutes and couldn’t get any drink service despite the fact there were 3 roving waitresses and not that many diners left at 9.30m. There are Better dining choices for the money I’d suggest.

Went in for a drink with friends and was greeted by a very polite waiter. We let him know we were loud laughers and if he wanted to put us in a corner away from other patrons it was ok. He said we were totally fine and put us in the middle of the restaurant. Ordered cocktails and they were amazing! However, the experience was ruined by an extremely rude waiter who yelled at us and threatened to kick us out because we were being too loud. It was very unfortunate because if he had just asked us politely we would have stayed for more than one drink.

Such good food here. Always recommend it to everyone who visits us in Byron and we love to pop in to treat ourselves when we can. Yum yum yum and great cocktails too!

Absolute beautiful meals! Couldn't fault service or food - e spectacular and delicious! 👍🏻

Underwhelmed. Shouldn’t really have to be telling restaurants why.

Overpriced for the quality of food but nice ambience inside. Service very poor. We went Easter Saturday night so there was a 15% surcharge, but even without the surcharge my penne pasta dish was priced at $32 and it was very disappointing. The sauce was lacking substance and I thought at that price the pasta would’ve been the fresh variety not the dried stuff that costs 99c a packet.

Always an amazing experience! The food is to die for (every time, over many years!) and I was lucky enough to be proposed to here, so it will always hold a special place in my heart! The food, service, ambiance and cocktails are all so brilliant! Worth booking in days in advance if you're travelling up for the weekend!

OBSESSED with this place and that's coming from some pretty harsh Italian gals! Had the Burrata to start which was hands down some of the most amazing cheese I have ever eaten, coupled with crisp fresh tomatoes. Definitely a must for your meal. We then had the lamb lasagna which I will be dreaming about every time I'm in need of some comfort food; delicious, melt in your mouth lamb in layers of delicious pasta, tasty sauce and beautiful bechamel. You cannot go wrong with this choice. Also the fish of the day which was barramundi. How to describe this dish? Rich in flavour, fresh and filling - the three F's that any meal needs! Anyone visiting Byron Bay needs to make a stop here and eat, you will not be disappointed!

Had dinner there with 9 adults and 3 toddlers. The venue and staff accommodated us perfectly. The food was fantastic. The children's tomato pasta was the perfect blend of well cooked baby tomatos and garlic. Our kids (and parents) loved it. The lasagna was fantastic as was the beef cheek mushroom penne.

A lovely setting on the beachfront and the venue is nicely decorated. The service was good and our waitress was attentive - she got made a lovely passionfruit mocktail that wasn't on the menu. Now for the food....the starters were below average unfortunately - we had the four cheese arancini balls which were disappointing, I couldn't taste 4 cheeses..barely could taste 1 and the rice was overdone and mushy...we also had the carpaccio which had been covered in Parmesan...good carpaccio should speak for itself and doesn't need covering. The mains were much better - we had the fish and the lamb lasagne and we enjoyed both dishes clearing our plates. Overall it was good but kind of pricey for what we had.

Booked in advance and asked for a nice table. We were seated under marquee with minimal atmosphere which was disappointing. Service was friendly and attentive. We ordered mains and a bottle of wine. I had the special Risotto which had lots of flavour and was cooked perfectly. My partner had the slow cooked beef rib which was tender and pulled apart easily. Overall a pleasant meal which would have been made better with a table closer to the beach.

Had a lovely experience with my partner on a Saturday night. The service was exceptional and the food we had was delicious and light. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful sea breeze on this balmy night, sheltered by the half-in, half-out table. We start with some arancini and bruschetta whilst we dissect the menu.

The arancini were spectacular. The bruschetta not so much. The bread was hard, too toasted and unforgiving. Our selections were aided by a negroni cocktail and one of the pacific lemonade. Both tops.

Then comes a taster of insalata caprese with particularly tasty cherry tomatoes (but more boccincini than buffalo mozzarella). Then a taster of gamberi with chilli, garlic and tomato in the duckiest cast iron frypan on the planet. Mopped up with more of the horrid planks of last week's bread. Ditch that rubbish!

But then the crescendo arrived - the ricotta ravioli in burnt butter and sage were heavenly, with toasted almonds and fresh peas. Magnifique. We hesitantly asked for some fresh bread, and out came the loveliest, crisp, gooey bread imaginable. Praise be to God! Mopped up the oily remnants of the ravioli and the last memory of the gamberi.

Then an affogato with Pedro Ximenez, and an apple dessert thingy which was only new to the menu, but tasted remarkably like a deconstructed apple crumble. All good, but pretentious.

Staff very attentive and engaging. Atmosphere buoyed but not dominated by the adjoining pub, augmented too by the groovy street concert in the park across the way.

Side note - Check out the sea urchin lights strung from the main dining cavern. So cool!

Great food and some of the best service I have had in a long time. A bit on the pricy side but not outrageous and well worth it. $290 for 3 people including 2 bottles of wine and we ate very well.

Couldn't have asked for better service, all the staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient even for a Monday night.
The food was excellent, cocktails too!

Yum. Was craving italian after a long day at the beach. This definitely hit the spot. Delicious Italian food, and great service. Staff here definitely go above and beyond for their customers. Will definitely return.

Good service and great tasting food. This is a great spot to chill out and relax for all lovers of basic Italian food,

Lovely!. Great restaurant, a little on the pricey range but well worth it for the experience. Wait staff were lovely and the food was delish (although on the small side, don't go too hungry!) catered for our large group with ease and very thankful!

What can I say other than WOW!! The service was first class and the food amazing. They have little taste size entrees which are a bit smaller than entree which is a great idea. 2 little bits of pork belly were spot on as was the bruschetta, some of the best I've had including through Italy. Had a lamb shank lasagne which I have never seen before and it was sublime. Great place

Beef cheek for main, was wonderful!

Ticks all the boxes. Food was fantastic & service was amazing!! The duck gnocchi was beautiful a was the snapper. Loved the cocktails, wine list was a little over priced but great variety!!
Food was fresh and tasty, we had to wait a little longer for our entree and was thanked by a free Tiramisu - which was a 10/10!!
We will be back before we leave!!

The food is still great however the prices have gone through the roof. Charging $41 for a main course is over the top and out of touch with the Byron market.

LOVED THIS PLACE. Loved the whole feel of this restaurant. Friendly and romantic. Pork belly entree a bit over cooked, mushroom arancini was delicious!! As for the lamb shank lasagna...could not get enough!! Dessert...peanut and banana creme brûlée WOW.

Delicious pasta and excellent service from friendly staff. Great ambience so all in all a very enjoyable evening.

Second time eating here and totally impressed with the food and service yet again. Staff are extremely friendly. On the first occasion, we sat outside by the heater and the waiter kindly placed shawls around our shoulders to keep us warm - so spoilt. Second occasion we sat inside on a beautiful lounge setting. Love the decor and lighting inside. Both times I had the penne with mushroom and shredded veal and it is the most delicious and authentic italian I have ever had. And great value - their midweek special at the moment is $27 for main pasta and glass of wine. Love this place and will be back again.

This restaurant is excellent. Great service, incredible food (best lasagne ever), great wines by the glass. Highly recommend! The rating does not reflect the calibre of this dining experience.

Had dinner there with five other people tonight and it was fantastic!!! Food and service just wonderful, I had the prawn entree and shared the prawn spaghetti and the gnocchi with someone else, all three dishes were a taste sensation. If your in Byron this restaurant is a must!

What a shame. Great location, good service, but let down by average food. Crispy skin pork belly should be crispy. 3 serves on our table, none crispy. Pasta dishes were bland and gluggy. Real pity as the space is great. Diners should've rewarded with better quality cooking than this for the prices that are charged.
Tracey
Sensational. Lovely ambience various styles of seating, very private comfy and well spaced, nice soft lighting, can have a conversation with your dinner partner without yelling. Great menu and specials, entree prawns absolutely delicious, my partner is still talking about the pork belly it was so good, he just wished he had also ordered it for main and desert! Pasta was lovely too, only fault I could pick was the penne with mushroom and shredded veal needed a bit more sauce as the pasta soaked up all of the sauce and it ended up a bit dry. Great wine list too and really decent wines by the glass. Really friendly wait staff without being intrusive. We had a wonderful meal and will return when next in Byron.

"Classy, Sophisticated and Romantic" Beach front yet very private location; Decor stylish, comfortable, modern, Italian. Imaginative menus, with some delightfully unique serving vessels. Food exceptionally well prepared and presented. Attentive service. Deserts a treat. The restaurant develops it's unique mix of digestives to complete a relaxing evening. A charming bar is available for drinks and bar snacks, if desired. You will be impressed.
