Delicious food, fast service, reasonably priced.... the sea food spring rolls are to die for, as is the pho soup and the crispy chicken with sesame sauce.... a new fave restaurant!!!
One of my favorite places in 2166 area. The food is very close to SGN flavor. Not many others around like it. Most places have slightly changed their recipes for the 'western' customer. Not this place! It's great!
My go to restaurant when I’m craving some com tam bi suong Cha (combination rice/broken rice with pork chop)- it really reminds me of the ones they serve in Vietnam! The pork chop is very succulent and well marinated, the piece of Cha is full of flavour and all the other accompaniments to the dish work really well together. Have yet to try the other dishes but would highly recommend this one 😍
YUM, YUM, YUMMMM! Pho was full of flavours, broth was hot, servings sizes were generous & the restaurant was very clean and organised, the staff were attentive and quick. Mum found her lettuces weren’t washed but that was quickly replaced by a new batch! Definitely going to come back when I’m back in Sydney :)
Bai Truong is one of the best Vietnamese restaurant so far in cabbramatta, they provide a authentic experience with their dishes and their staff. There was a lot of flavour in each dish except for spring roll which was pretty disappointed. The staff was friendly, they didn't speak English but they are kind enough to explain what the dishes were and it was busy.
Been here a million times. This is one of the only places you can get every type of Viet dish available - from noodles to rice, to hot pot, stir fries, veg dishes, papaya/goi/morning glory salads, rice paper rolls and even mud crab.
They do a decent job of every dish too. Most places only specialise in a particular item.
The food at Bau Truong Cabramatta is consistently good and the menu is pretty extensive; I've been a regular ever since it opened. Some of my favourites are the vermicelli salad with beef wrapped in wild pepper leaf, the vermicelli salad with taro and prawn cakes, crispy seafood noodles, durian smoothie, Vietnamese iced coffee, and the beef salad served with prawn crackers. My daughter goes for the crispy chicken with tomato rice. One caveat I've found is that the service can be uneven especially if the boss isn't around; as a matter of fact the last time I went, the waitress wouldn't let me sit at a table for four for no apparent reason - the restaurant was practically empty - and which I needed to do because I have a severely disabled child who needs assistance so I HAVE to sit next to and not across from him. I walked out and ate somewhere else instead, and frankly I haven't been back since.
A decent place to go to when you want good Vietnamese cuisine. They have a huge variety of options to choose from, ranging from fried rice, to stir fried noodles, soups, curry and much more. We ordered the stir fried noodles, fried rice and one of their soup dishes. Service is ok! Price range is decent. There is a good amount of seating.
A venue for family types for dinner. Suitable for all ages. Their menu is reasonably set with specialities for seafood and asian dishes with meats and vegetables.
Undisputedly one of the best restaurants in Sydney for com tam (Vietnamese BBQ pork chop). My personal favourite is actually their com ga dac biet (BBQ chicken special). The chicken is nice and tender and the sweet smoky flavour is amaazing together with the fried egg and pork floss.
When friends come to Cabramatta for the first time this is one of the places I usually recommend.
Excellent pork chop and rice. Has good variety - all the Vietnamese classics you could want. I would recommend the spring rolls as a starter to share. Have come back multiple times

Bau Truong has a large menu with good portion sizes. The beef pho broth was very nice, the seafood spring rolls were also nice and crispy. The place is big with a lot of room and the price is pretty good.
Plenty of dishes to pick. Service was quick. Covid compliant, making sure you check in before seating. Food was delicious. Only issue it's abit expensive from $18+ but portion is decent
Busy place with a wide variety of dishes. The food was fresh and tasted delicious. The beef stew was the highlight as the broth was clean and flavourful. The beef was melt in your mouth tender. Service was prompt too!
