Wonderful place to dine on the Nard in Cairns. Friendly, bubbly owner Irene, very welcoming. Staff cheery & polite. Food....great value for money! The nachos were delicious and definitely made to share! As was the Trio of dips & bread. Add to that a couple of glasses of wine and we had a most enjoyable meal for two under $50 with change in our pockets. And I almost forgot to add the yummy lemon meringue tart I had for dessert......I always have dessert!
Been coming to this place for approximately 8 months now ! I have nothing but great things to say from best coffee in town , good food and service. I highly recommend this venue to al locals and visitors
Amazing pizza and pastas! I would highly recommend the chicken avocado fettuccini with mushroom sauce. It was so creamy and seasoned to perfection. The veggie lover was mouthwatering!!!
Ordered the spaghetti bolognese, meat lovers pizza and a calamari appetiser. All in all good value for money. The spaghetti was a little undercooked for my liking but a good meal nonetheless. Good service and friendly staff too.
Warm welcome from the friendly staff. Seated straight away, clean tables. Cafe situated in a prime location on the esplanade. Order taken quickly, wait staff memorised the order and got it correct. Food was fresh, good portion size and reasonably priced for a tourist area. Best coffee we've had in Cairns. Highly recommend the coffee. All day breakfast and plenty of choices. Cater for vegans also.
Visited the cafe for breakfast. Beautiful location on the esplanade. Had avo smash and eggs with feta and The veggie breakfast. The food was above average but a generous portion size and very filling. Well priced too.. Will visit again
Went for breakfast. Wasn't very adventurous. Had eggs and bacon on toast but what I did like was that the toast wasn't sour dough or one of the heavier breads. It was a light and fluffy bread which I haven't had for a while, so that was good. The bacon was tasty and still chewy, which I prefer and the eggs were light. It was quite pleasant to sit out and watch the traffic go past. Had an iced coffee - no cream - which was sufficiently milky so I also enjoyed that.
We came here for dinner on our last night in Cairns and couldn't have chosen better. The service was by far the best we had in a long time. Our waiter Jonathan was super friendly. As soon as the water was close to empty we got a new bottle. The kitchen even made up a customised veggie wrap for me that wasn't normally part of the menu cause I said that this was what I felt like. The wrap as well as the pasta we got were delicious. The prices are super cheap for the nice location (at the esplanade) especially compared to other restaurants around. Big portions as well!! Definitely go here if you are in Cairns! Thanks Jonathan for looking after us!!
Very nice place. We had breakfast there and really enjoyed it. The cappuccino and latte were pretty good, nice presentation of the food. I would definitely recommend it.
Arrived on a busy night to be told there was around a 30 minute wait for food. Not an issue as we could still get a table and have a drink, glad they told us upfront about the wait. food arrived well within that time frame and everyone was very happy with their meals. reasonably priced and lovely food.
Loved the coffee here was smooth & strong. Not only that they do an amazing selections of sweets, those macarons were generously sized & delicious, I want more!!

The coffee here is absolutely beautiful, went to this shop daily for 4 days and the coffee was consistently lovely regardless who the barista was. They also use artistict cups with aboriginal arts which adds a positive experience to the consumer.
They have a promotion on the savings passport which you can get from the night markets food court tables. Promotion is buy 1 coffee and get 1 free.
Even if the promotion was not there, I would still come here and buy my coffee.
$5 for a medium capuccino, pricier compared to standard coffee price in Australia I guess they have no proper competition in the area. Location is right on the esplanade on the night market foodcourt entrance.
Best breakfast I've had in Cairns. Really appreciated the chef being happy to discuss & accommodate my request to substitute the ciabatta with mushrooms. Presented beautifully & tasted amazing! If I visit again I'll be sure to come here.
Great service, catered happily to my medically required dietary changes. Hubby loved the steak sandwich and the chips were divine. They make fresh juices for you, and they have a lovely selection of yummy-looking macarons that come in various sizes. Defs recommend. Easy to walk past, right at the front of the night markets. It's not part of the coffee club, so don't get confused. Service is heaps better than coffee club and owned by a local who serves and works there. Highly recommend.
Had breakfast here this morning and I was very impressed. Waiter was very friendly and helpful as my friend and I asked for a table for two. He assisted us with the menu sharing his favorite dish and suggesting healthy options. Food came out to us very quick and was so delicious. Pricing was reasonable for what was served. Recommend.
