The food here is exemplary, however the service is even better! Lots of friendly & capable staff; when buying a KG of prawns the lady even honoured the slightly incorrect price sign although I wasn’t really concerned about it; the Aussie red spot prawns were beautiful, but I think they’re greatest product is the Curry Scallop pies; just get in early, we got them right out of the oven at lunchtime after missing out the evening before! What a great shop!

They have a lot of kinds of seafoods!!! And their open hours until late, it’s really nice!
We bought prawns, oysters and frozen scallops, prawns were good, however, oysters were frozen and my friend said it was not fresh.

I expect this to be a market with several stalls selling seafood. It is rather a disappointment for the variety and price. Could this be a post COVID syndrome?
I cannot comment on the fish and chips, because I have not tried it.

New to Cairns and stumbled across this gem. Fish was fresh and cooked beautifully along with the crumbed Scallops. Was very busy but worth the wait.

Overpriced for what we got. We all felt sick after eating (old dirty oil in my opinion). The cook should have recooked some new potato cakes instead of sending us home with these (pictured).

Best fish and chips! Had battered barramundi served with chips and garden salad. It’s fresh and tasted really good.

We bought takeaway fish and chips here one evening. Service was good, and we didn't wait too long, given that it was quite busy. Prices were reasonable, but definitely not cheap.
The fish itself was great. However, the batter was more akin to the crumb that you'd typically find on a schnitzel, and not what you'd normally get on deep-fried fish. The chips were ok, but lacked any crispiness or body.

Finally I found a delicious and fresh fish and chips. Good price and variety. You have some tables outside if you want eat there but I did take away. Friendly staff. Quick service.

I bought one of Grizzly’s famous Seafood chowder this week and I was not disappointed. Plenty of seafood, fresh, tasty and perfect for dinner with some fresh crusty bread. Bloody fantastic thanks Griz. Will certainly be back for more.

I have been going here for a number of years, & always found the Staff to be very friendly, polite, & nothing was a problem.
I specially order,fresh salmon pieces for an elderly Aunt ( who lives in another town) & it is always cut in perfect size portions, & is vacuum packed at no extra cost. I do this several times a year including Christmas. She is fussy & hasen't had a bad piece yet.
I also buy seafood for myself & have always got top qualiy produce.
Best cooked fish & chips.

Got some endeavour prawns, bugs, oysters & smoked salmon to take down to Mission Beach. Service was great, they made it into two platters and popped it in a foam box with ice to keep cold. Was the freshest I've had. Would definately recommend their quality produce and friendly service. Only wish I lived closer, bit of a trek from Sydney. Will be back!

Poor service!! Booked mud crabs 2 weeks before Christmas then received a call a day before Christmas dinner saying they have no more muddys. What was worse was no apologies! Why book if they wont save
