Fantastic food with excellent presentation and ambience, we ordered the French toast and corn fritters and both were fantastic.
The only deficiency was that there's a few hairs in the corn fritters but otherwise great food.
Really like the decorations and rustic look inside the cafe.
Gorgeous cafe. Great setup and location. Food was awesome. Staff need a bit more guidance…unless they are all new🤔. Not a cafe if you’re catching up with friends that you don’t see often as it is very noisy.
I love the menu here, there is something for everyone. The space is huge so I got a table straightaway without a booking. The squid ink pasta was delicious. Would definitely come back if I'm in the area.
Fantastic food, great friendly staff. We were served promptly and the food was delicious. We'll definitely be back. There is a main dining room which has a warm atmosphere and a courtyard out the back.
Been a few times. Pram friendly and dog friendly outside. However if sitting in the courtyard the ground is very uneven and the ground can get quite cold even though there are heaters so if your pooch is a bit of a princess might be good idea to bring a blanket. Venue looks lovely inside. The food is reasonably priced. Pictured is the eggsparagus, beef burger and matcha. Both meals really delicious. I loved how the hashbrown in the eggsparagus was crunchy, Lots of nice textures. We also ordered the cinnamon scroll which was perfect not too doughy, sickly or sticky. Would also be a good place for larger groups but does get very busy. One of my top locals.
Bakers wife is a large, beautiful, well lit space with a great feel and ambience with a large courtyard out the back too. Menu is a good mix of breakfast options and some solid lunch options too. They also have cakes and sandwiches on offer from the counter displays too for takeaway and dine in. Staff are friendly and attentive which is great. Good coffee too. Great spot for breakfast, lunch, catch ups, meetings etc. Worth a visit
Fantastic spot for breakfast! Friendly staff. Excellent flavours- lots of chilli in the eggs, French toast cooked perfectly. Lovely ambience. Come early or book in advance as it fills up pretty quickly! Make sure to grab some delicious take away pastries on the way out (the custard cruffin is soooo yum).
