Review Infuse Camberwell - Camberwell

W W
Not too sure how I feel about the place... I mean they were incredibly busy but they first forgot to serve us water cz they thought the water from another table are ours...then my dish didn't have sauce in the middle (a can of empty jar), the staff apologized by saying cz they have a chef in training but how can the waiter deliver a dish like this to the customer? They got me a new jar of sauce eventually... During all this time they all said they were busy and sincerely apologised yet no compensations were done by reducing the bill by a bit or some sort like other places with great hospitality. The almond croissant was too sweet and the food was ok.

Been here for a couple of times and pretty much enjoyed most of the visit. Their selections in the menu are undeniably tasty and savoury. I must highlight that their almond croissant and cured smoked salmon are the best! The place is very refreshing and bright. Really a great place to catch up with friends for a brunch or dinner.

Cool place, but the food really was just borderline ordinary. The menu was rather confusing. The "roti" was hard, dry and felt super stale.

Very good coffee, clean surrounds and reasonably large choice of breakfast plates. Not far from Camberwell Fresh Food market and Camberwell Sunday market.

Interesting fusion menu. A great place for lunch. Sparkling wine ordered, sparkling water delivered....mistakes can be made behind masks! The staff were so professional in dealing with the issue and resolved it without question. Food is always delicious.

I come here all the time for one reason: It is just so consistently good. The service is excellent, the food is always interesting and delicious, and the ambiance is wonderful. If you are looking for a brunch out in Camberwell, Infuse is by far the best option.

Coeliacs and gluten intolerant DO NOT GO HERE... Misrepresentation of GF and GFO marked meals. I booked this place for brunch with friends because of the GF and GFO meals on the menu, but when I went to order and told them I had Coeliac Disease, I was basically told I could have a salad or eggs. That was it. I ended up ordering poached eggs with GF toast and roasted tomatoes, but should’ve just walked out instead. I didn’t want to make a fuss or have to find somewhere else that would take a walk-in for us. My friends ordered other breakfast items and when our meals arrived, I almost laughed out loud... But I was stunned into silence because there is NO comparison from a presentation perspective (check out the photos attached). There certainly didn’t seem to be any effort made with my GF meal to even make it look appetising! No leaves or pretty flower petals even! The service was also extremely slow. We were there 30 minutes into our 90 minute time slot before we got to order our meals. Extremely disappointing! Won’t be returning and won’t be recommending. To the manager: I strongly suggest you update and reprint your menus to perhaps say LOW GF instead (that is, if those meals actually are LGF)! Otherwise, get with the program and educate and up-skill your staff. Gluten poisoning is real and it isn’t any fun for those of us who have to deal with the consequences.

Delicious food! Good vegan options too!

This place was fusion at its best! Once we got past the covid19 precautions, it was a lovely experience. Even with reduced numbers, Infuse Camberwell was buzzing with a great atmosphere. <br/><br/>I had the Hong Kong noodle with confit duck maryland. It was surprisingly delicious. The noodles were prepared to perfection and could definitely give the majority of Chinese restaurants a run for their money! The duck was juicy, well seasoned and tender.<br/><br/>I also had a chai tea. This was served hot and milky with a lovely infusion of chai leaves.<br/><br/>Highly recommend.

Infuse is an Asian fusion casual dining that serves brekkie, lunch and dinner. We went in during brunch and got to try a few dishes. Firstly the lamb shakshuka, the lamb cutlets were crispy and easily came off the bone. It was served with amazing roti that goes with the baked egg. The breakfast baos are my favourite. The caramelised pork belly and chilli scramble went surprisingly well with the bao. The sesame tuna bowl was a little dry but we still liked it.
The Brunch Collective
After visiting Infuse in Greensborough one night recently for dinner and enjoying it greatly, we decided to give their sister restaurant Infuse in Camberwell a go. This time we went for brunch and tried some more breakfasty fare. If breakfasty isn’t a word it should be. <br/><br/>We ordered Greena Eggs and Ham with some grilled tomato, has browns and mushrooms as sides, the Breakfast Bar and the Apple Pancake. The Green Eggs and Ham was simple but delicious dish of well poached eggs on panfried ham slices and an absolute mountain of smashed avo, green indeed and very tasty and filling. <br/><br/>The Breakfast Bar was a more sophisticated dish, consisting of 3 steamed bread rolls stuffed with finely shredded Vietnamese style salad with a tangy dressing and heaps of pork slices, the meat fabulously grilled and the fatty layer on the meat super gelatinous and soft, covered in a sticky lightly sweet and mild chilli sauce. These were just absolutely delicious. <br/><br/>The Apple Pancake came served in the little cast iron pan it was cooked in, still warm and sitting on a wooden board. The pancake itself was thick, fluffy and soft, lightly spiced with cinnamon and topped with stewed apple and a crunchy granola. A jar of warm caramel sauce poured over the top made it all come together in a sweet tasty and filling delight. <br/><br/>Fingers were poked into the caramel jar to ensure the last drops of sauce didn’t go to waste. <br/><br/>For drinks we had a Chai Latte, regular Latte and a Watermelon and Pineapple Juice, all very good. Of course we had a couple of cocktails (it was brunch after all). <br/><br/>The Espresso Martini was good (to be frank, aren’t they always?) but the highlight was the Lychee Martini, vodka sweet with lychee juice and a whole lychee sitting in the bottom soaking up the falvour to eat when the drink was gone. <br/><br/>Just like their Greensborough counterpart, we definitely intend to come back to Infuse Camberwell soon.

We had a nice time and want to come back for lunch!

For starters the coffee was more than amazing as we didn’t expect it at all really. Going by the menu we thought we will be enjoying a beautiful asian lunch but the coffee just surprised us in fact the chai latte was one of the good ones i’ve tasted so fat! loved it <br/>Absolutely enjoyed the dumplings and the Nasi goreng with satay sauce as they were very delicious and the soy panna cotta was just cherry on top as I am lactose intolerant. <br/>Very friendly staff, actually i might come back for the brunch they’ve got to offer.

First time I have gone to this restaurant and have slightly mixed feelings. <br/><br/>My friend and I went on a Saturday night and it wasn’t overall busy but we found we had to wait a little while to be served and for our orders to be taken. We ended up flagging the waiter down and ordered a Nutella milkshake, peach and lime mocktail, crispy pork bao buns and crispy chicken. Food and drinks came really quick which was great. <br/>The bao buns were super tasty but I wish the serving size was bigger or they dropped the price ($14) as it’s a bit much for just two small baos. I ended up getting roti bread as an extra as I was still hungry. My friend really liked her crispy chicken and the serving size was very reasonable for the price ($15). <br/><br/>I enjoyed everything about my meal and drinks, just wish the service was a bit more on point and the prices matched the serving size for some dishes. Still would like to go to this place again to try some of the other dishes.

Infuse Camberwell is definitely the place to be for an amazing feast.<br/>We had their kingfish, short ribs, barramundi and hong kong noodles and all were very nice. Portion is big too so you will definitely leave full and satisfied.<br/>They also do amazing cocktails too! We ordered their strawberry daiquiri and lychee mule - loved them
Michael.dungey
I’m not sure why this place has such a high score of 4.6?<br/>Massive let down we’re the bao bun (served with the beef rib) were tough and chewy. The beef itself was good but only reason why I ordered the dish was to do the whole diy bao buns which is a great concept but seriously these were terrible!<br/>Also- the menu reads ‘poached chicken’, so we expected more than what almost all fast food noodles outlets prepare chicken.<br/>Overrated for mine
Ken Valdejueza
The whole place was a vibe ❤️ definitely a great place to chill out, catch up with friends over a tasty meal and cocktails

Chicken skewers were pink, chewy and UNDERCOOKED. When I alerted the staff, they took it from me and didn’t communicate whether they would offer me a different item, or the same item recooked. until 10 minutes after when the manager returned and said sorry. <br/>Not good enough...very disappointed.

We went here once for dinner. The food was very nice but unfortunately, the service was awful! We were constantly ignored, it was difficult to get the waiters’ attention, a table next to us wasn’t cleaned for 40 minutes, and we waited 25 minutes for a very easy dessert (possibly, this would’ve been longer if we hadn’t flagged it with a waiter). I am usually a patient guest but I did end up feeling annoyed by this lack of service and care from the three waiters because the restaurant wasn’t even overly busy.

Very busy on Australia Day for lunch, but service was still quick and attentive. Staff were very nice when we modified our order too! <br/><br/>Food - I had the lamb shank curry. It was amazing to be honest. The meat falls right off the bone, the massaman curry itself is light, and then the eggplant and fatty portions of the lamb give you the fatty textures to balance it all. It is more on the creamier side, and the portion size for $25 is fair without being out of this world.<br/><br/>Also pictured is the tuna sesame bowl - not a filling dish, but heard that it was one of the most flavourful breakfast bowls my partner had eaten. <br/><br/>The ambience at Infuse is awesome - there’s a lot of natural light, high ceilings, clean tables, fun mural style artwork on the walls; only downside is that the place is a little bit loud.
Quince And Cheese
Infuse is a spacious cafe next to Camberwell's shopping centre. The staff are very nice but a little slow (I sat for a long time with someone else's used water glasses before they got replaced. Coffees also came long after food.) I was pleased to see lots of vegan options including an apple crumble pancake which was small but delicious. The eggplant and avocado bowl was also good although a bit plain. Both dishes weren't really worth the price but would have been good if priced cheaper.
Tessa
Came because of a groupon deal and was not disappointed. The food is fusion and it is decent for fusion cuisine. My baos were soft and filling was ok. The pork belly was soft and I only wish the piece was bigger. Too much bao to filling ratio. The coffee was good and service was prompt. Car parking is great and location is easy to get to.
Kaylah Crotty
Nutella milkshake flavours were absolutely amazing. “GreenEggs” was served with a huge amount of avocado which was delicious. The apple pancake mixed with everything it was served with was delicious
Big Fat Layer
It was the best Groupon deal i'd ever had! Just paid for the difference and we could choose anything on their extensive menu. We enjoyed the amazing lamb shank curry and beautiful slow cooked beef short ribs so much! Generous portions, we left happy and satisfied. Would love to come back to try other dishes ig. Roast barramundi, sticky lamb ribs!
Chloe
Amazing brunch location! Service was friendly, food was visually appealing & tasted amazing! Special mention for the Apple Crumble Hotcakes as they definitely hit the spot and the coffee was fantastic ☕️
Rachel Goh
Absolutely love this Asian fusion restaurant and cafe. The menu is just to good and it’s so hard to decide what to get! Special mention goes to the slow cooked lamb shoulder massman curry and the breakfast baos (scrambled egg and pork belly!). Just amazing!
Nikita Singh
Lovely brunch spot in a vibrant shopping area. Service was friendly and the coffees were amazing! Loved the fusion food, especially the baos and the beef ribs 😍 the quantity and quality was well matched to their prices- you’d easily pay way more for beef ribs elsewhere. My friend, dog and I had a great time and were well looked after, well fed and needed a nap afterwards haha! The only thing I’d say is if you’re sitting outside, there’s no shaded areas and the tables are right next to the road (if you have a boisterous dog that may be a problem). Other than that, we had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed our brunch date! 🥰👍🏽

Used a Groupon voucher here this morning.<br/>When we entered, we were greeted promptly and were seated. The waitress was not friendly or enthusiastic however was professional.<br/>I ordered the smashed avo and a watermelon juice. It came out in a relatively quick manner. The smashed avo was lovely and quite unique. It had a beetroot sauce, and had a lot of avocado and feta which was impressive<br/>The watermelon juice was not very sweet, however I would stil recommend Infuse for the food

It's been a while since I had the chance to visit Camberwell during the day and explore the area. I had looked up Zomato to find a cafe nearby for lunch and Infuse Cafe popped up as 2 minute walk away - perfect! <br/><br/> 🔆LOCATION🔆<br/><br/>Infuse Cafe is conveniently situated on Burke Road, near the corner of Burke Road next to Sheridan Studio.  Despite the cafe signage is not very noticeable it was very easy to find. The cafe is right next to Coles Camberwell Place and open space car park area.<br/>The cafe is very spacious, with a large high table, and round tables. <br/><br/>🔆SERVICE🔆<br/><br/>Service was somewhat slow. I had walked in just after midday on a weekday, and there were about 5 tables occupied, and a few people in queue ordering take-away coffee.<br/><br/>I stood just inside and a waitress walked straight passed me. We made eye contact but she didnt turn back. I was astonished. Then a male waiter walked passed me and didnt stop either. The female waitress must have realised I was a customer and came back and asked if I needed help and I said yes, I would like dine in please.<br/><br/>I was guided to a table but it was very dirty and I had to ask her to clean it for me. She did so promptly and gave me a menu and water.<br/><br/>The male waiter who took my order, did give me some suggestions on food options but I went with what I felt like. He took my order out and I started to eat my meal and discovered the dressing was missing. I called the waiter back and told him and he looked a bit puzzled and went back into the kitchen and came back with a small saucer with the dressing.<br/><br/>🔆MENU/PRICE🔆<br/><br/>Breakfast menu is till 3pm and the lunch menu is from 11am to 5pm.<br/>There is a good range of food options in both menu options but what drew my attention was the'Bowls' options and decided order: <br/><br/>Roasted Lemongrass Chicken, $18.00(Asian slaw, Thai Basil, Crushed Peanuts, Satay, Thai Vinaigrette)<br/><br/>Matcha Latte, $4.00<br/><br/>🔆VERDICT🔆<br/> <br/><br/>The Matcha Latte was disappointing - It was very weak in flavour. I was pretty much drinking hot milk.<br/><br/>On the other hand, my meal was delicious. I didnt realise the chicken was satay chicken on a skewer so that was interesting. The chicken was cooked really well, super tender and juicy and the satay sauce was yummy. Light peanut flavour not too heavy. The Asian slaw was very fresh and the Thai Vinaigrette was tasty and refreshing. I really enjoyed my dish and would definitely come back again.

I am a local and normally I love going to infuse, but tonight’s experience at infuse was a major let down due to many aspects of the service. Wait staff was asked to take our order numerous times but then still forgot. We literally had to walk to the counter to ask her to take our order. Food came extremely late, and overall staff seemed blandly unapologetic about the whole ordeal and did not acknowledge their mistake.
Gerald Yam
Poor and not professional service. Staff not well trained and not tentative enough. Our meals came really late and well after those that had ordered before us. Really disappointing.
Doublefatasians
Service was not up to the standard. The plate was really hot and instead the server/waitress just hand in the customer plate instead of placing it directly to the table. Need improvement on service. Lamb shank was good.
Erica Beard
My partner and I just walked out of here and agreed everything was amazing! The food was served in large portions, was hot, was fresh and we had fantastic service! Also loved that we came during happy hour so we got our favourite beer and wine half price! So happy with the meal; will definitely be back again for dinner. Also keen to try the breakfast menu!

The food here was so delicious, and the staff were super friendly!

Infuse was absolutely AMAZING. I have to admit that in the past, I've found Asian fusion to be a bit "hit or miss", but Infuse definitely HIT all the right notes. <br/><br/>Their portion sizes were huge, they were very generous with the amount of meat in each dish, and the flavours worked so so well together. <br/>Food came out really fast, and the presentation was next level!<br/>My favourite dish of all was the Miso Eggplant, followed by the Lamb Shank. Furthermore, the staff were extremely accommodating, and agreed to make "mocktails" for us, instead of cocktails.
Lisa Truong
Asian infused restaurant with high quality food - if you love Asian food I highly recommend this place! Dishes range from curry to Hong Kong noodles to sashimi. Though it was dishes all over Asia, everything went really well. My favourite dish was definitely the pork belly.
Willzie
This place was under staffed on a Sat morning. The girl who first serviced us was nice. Food took more than 40 mins to come out and they were average. The roti bread that comes with the lamb shakshuka was cold and soft.

We love fusion food and Infuse Camberwell do it so well, we had the Dumplings, Elizabeth Fried Rice, Pork belly and Soft crab shell curry and all meals where delicious especially the pork belly! Happy and super friendly staff made for such an awesome night!

We came into Infuse to try their dinner menu and was blown away by the innovative twist they have put on traditional Asian food<br/><br/>We started off with chilli wontons, these were quite authentic and had juicy prawns inside. The Tom yum silky tofu was next, and the consistency was a lot thicker than your average tom yum soup. This one had coconut milk in it and tasted very similar to Tom Kha, the tofu inside as so delicious. For mains we shared the confit duck noodles and the massman lamb curry leg ( this was falling off the bone, both dishes were extremely generous in size.<br/><br/>Thanks for having us in!
Dills
We had dinner here and this is a cool place to go to in Camberwell. The service was friendly and made you feel welcome. It was really busy and they seemed to be one person short serving everyone, but the food was tasty and excellent and so were the cocktails. The lamb was just falling off the bone and the soft shell crab curry was great.

Such an amazing breakfast bao dish!<br/><br/>FOOD & COFFEE: I ordered the ‘Breakfast Bao’ and it was one of the best bao dishes I have ever had. The bao itself was lovely and a good soft pillowy texture but the pork belly was cooked to tender melty perfection and the chilli scrambled went AMAZINGLY with the pork belly 😍 The dish was a beautiful fusion of a famous brunch item together with an Asian specialty and though fusion is not always perfect, Infuse definitely nailed it. I also ordered a Soy Milk Coffee and it was great as well! The coffee flavour was lovely and with the soy was a rich, beautiful flavour<br/><br/>SERVICE: Pleasant service! <br/><br/>Overall, I’m impressed with Infuse’s fusion and I think it’s one of the best savoury dishes I’ve ever had! Definitely an amazing dish!

Nice atmosphere and such a quick service. Not mentioning that the dishes were delicious!! Had the Thai fillet, fried chicken and spring rolls, couldn’t have been better

Infuse Camberwell is a must visit breakfast spot in Melbourne! I hadn't heard of them before coming across their voucher on Groupon which was great value. <br/><br/>I ordered the Smashed Avo and a latte. The Smashed Avo was honestly my favourite in Melbourne yet! Sometimes this classic dish can be a little boring or underwhelming. However at Infuse, it was absolutely full of flavour. The roasted beetroot was beautiful and paired with edamame, chilli, pomegranate, cashew nut dukah and lemon - it was delightful. <br/><br/>The waitress was very friendly and my order came out quickly also. The cafe is quite spacious and right off the main street in Camberwell.  <br/><br/>I had my eye on the apple pancake - will definitely be back to try that next time!
Saygs_
A must try in Camberwell! Everything was delicious! But my highlight was definitely the vegetarian dumplings! The skin was so bouncy and the filling was so tasty! The coconut porridge is also super yummy if you prefer sweet foods!

Having been to Infuse Greensborough earlier this year, I was confident with the quality Infuse Camberwell could deliver. They met all my expectations… and some.<br/><br/>A café by day, restaurant by night; Infuse offers the quintessential Australian and Asian fusion cuisine. The vibe is pretty chilled, given the ample space, and abundance of natural lighting… along with some naturally processed coffee care of Proud Mary. To think this gem of a venue off the beaten track has been here for 2 years, and I’ve only just discovered it, is a travesty. <br/><br/>The menu has something for everyone, with a selection of breakfast and brunch options, and after 5pm, small plates, large plates, bowls, and side for dinner.<br/><br/>A feast that’s both affordable and rich in flavours.  <br/><br/>Tip: Try the Crispy Bao with Pork Belly.<br/><br/>Bowl Goals: Go the Roast Lemongrass Chicken with Asian Slaw<br/><br/>A healthy option with a bit of kick: Roast Barramundi with Green Curry.<br/><br/> <br/><br/> Coffee by Proud Mary. Try the Ethiopian Natural. You won’t be disappointed. <br/><br/> <br/><br/>
Dine And Dash
Infuse Camberwell is a fabulous establishment that is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner! The warm and inviting eatery offers a range of Asian-inspired dishes and an extensive range of alcoholic beverages including fancy cocktails!<br/><br/>As we walked in, we were immediately shown to our table near the front. We admired the decor of the venue which had a gorgeous mural located directly above the kitchen/bar area. We ordered the Roast Barramundi, Rare Roast Jungle Beef, Thai Rare Beef and the Slow Cooked Wagyu Beef Brisket. For drinks, we ordered two coffees. <br/><br/>The Barramundi was delicious. The fish was cooked very well and I really loved the Green Curry! The dish was served with Chinese broccoli, snake bean, peppercorn and bell pepper. The ingredients blended beautifully together and overall it was a very satisfying dish.<br/><br/>The Rare Roast Jungle Beef was delicious. The meat was nice and tender and went very well with the cauliflower and shiitake mushrooms. It was also a very generous serving. The Thai Rare Beef had a few overlapping ingredients with the Jungle Beef but tasted completely different! The nouc cham was mouth-watering and went so beautifully with the rest of the dish. <br/><br/>Our favourite dish was definitely the Wagyu Beef Brisket. The meal was served with cucumber pickles, celeriac remoulade and mayo. The burger was packed with flavour and simply melted in my mouth. Sweet potato wedges were also served with the dish and they were hot, crunchy and fluffy inside. <br/><br/>We had such a nice time at Infuse Camberwell and we couldn’t really fault our experience; regarding their food and customer service.

Macha is very rich and not so sweet👍the Nasi dish is amazing! I don’t like red pepper but it tastes great in this bowl~

Amazing service with high quality food. Their service was so quick that I really could not fault this place! I could not recommend this place enough. Their dinner menu is definitely a must!

Service not great , food was average . Overall not a great experience . :-(<br/><br/>Ooooooooooooooooh its a shame. <br/><br/>:-( lots of improvements to so I am afraid

Love the Asian inspired food here! <br/><br/>The Fritters in particular were a favourite. Perfectly seasoned, and we loved the sauce they were served with - they also came with crunchy chickpeas, fresh avocado and a poached egg. They had an amazing crunch! Would definitely recommend. <br/>I was a big fan of the Nutrition bowl - simple, but all the flavours were there. I added mushrooms and a poached egg, which was good for texture. The bowl I had isn’t served with any sauce or dressing, so I would recommend adding an egg or smashed avocado as well. <br/><br/>Strawberry milkshake was made with strawberry jam, which we loved. And the pineapple juice was fresh.<br/><br/>Café was quite crowded on this Saturday morning, but service was still quick and friendly. I will definitely return for that Apple Pancake! It looked amazing! <br/><br/>A great Camberwell local.

Such a gorgeous place in Camberwell ! If you love Asian food I highly recommend this place ! The souffle is the best I have ever eaten ! Love the ambience and such a wide menu !<br/>I would definitely visit this place again ! 😁

Amazing place! Very nice environment! Great for a casual or special dinner.<br/><br/>Food came out very quick. The service was great, all the staff were very friendly.<br/><br/>A big variety to choose from in the menu. The tacos and fried rice were definitely a favourite. Everything we ordered was very well flavoured as well. The dishes all had a healthy combination.<br/><br/>Thank you!

Super yummy food. Easy to find. Very accommodating staff. Nasi goreng and tom yum fried rice & soft shell crab - must try! Also the upside down cheesecake is to die for ! will definitely come back.

I'm not quite sure why the ratings are so high. The food is well presented and this is certainly a good Instagram opportunity but the flavours are just not there. The atmosphere is also a bit railway-station food-hall. <br/><br/>We had dumplings (fat stodgy gyoza), crispy pork bun (quite nice but not very flavourful) and tom yum fried rice with prawns (meh... probably a poor choice to tell you the truth).  Won't be back.
Poly Pang
Had an amazing dinner with my loved ones there! They serve really nice Asian fusion. I loved every dishes I’ve tried and the red curried Atlantic salmon was my favourite. The staffs were really friendly and helpful.
Foodie
Service was terrible. One main meal arrived with the entree and waited 15 minutes after the entree for the other one. The waitress began to clean plates with food still on it as we were eating. Called ahead to arrange a birthday candle on the dessert which never happened. Were charged for the wrong table and the waitress came running after us as we were undercharged.

We went out for a date night with my partner and we had an amazing dinner experience at Infuse Camberwell. The staff members were very helpful and the food was absolutely delicious 👌🏽😊 we ordered a bit of everything to try and we can highly recommend them all.

Our dinner date at Infuse Camberwell. <br/><br/>We both started with a nice cold glass of Moscato from Wild One Estate to kickstart the night. While perusing the long list of options on the menu a few dishes caught our eye; the Crispy Pork Bao, Braised Wagyu Beef Brisket Dumplings and the Flat Rice Noodles. <br/><br/>The Something Small items from the menu, Crispy Pork Bao and the Braised Wagyu Beef Brisket dumplings were ordered, served and consumed in a matter of minutes!<br/><br/>The Bao were little but were so jam packed full of flavour. They weren’t too spicy however had just enough tang to them. The pickled cucumber was very delicious. Each bao left us licking our fingers wanting more! <br/><br/>Next up was the Wagyu Beef Dumplings. Now these dumplings (for me personally) would be up there with some of the best dumplings there is to try in Melbourne. Absolutely loved them. They were so juicy and full of flavour. However, we made the rookie mistake of only ordering 5 of them between us, should have ordered at least 15 each!<br/><br/>We then wanted Something More, we shared the Flat Rice Noodle which consisted of pieces of crispy tofu, dried turnip, bean shoots, red capsicum, mushrooms, wilted spinach and mushroom katsu. All ingredients were fresh and cooked to perfection. The deep fried mushrooms were a delectable focus point of the dish. <br/><br/>A big thank you to the staff after being so accommodating of my Fish/Crustacean allergy and advising us which meals would be best to try. <br/><br/>Infuse in Camberwell is a great restaurant to have either a date or even a great place to start your night out on the town with its showcase bar. Fuel up on Infuse’s tasty Asian infused Modern Australian food and drinks.

This place is tucked away behind the busy Burke Road in Camberwell. The open space makes it perfect for a family dinner or any occasion. The lamb shank was my favourite dish, and the beef dumplings were also a winner.
Littlefoodiekiki
Have walked pass many times and I finally visited for dinner. Firstly, the ambiance of the restaurant is very calm and inviting. Imagine eating dinner under dim lights, with you and your friends enjoying a delicious meal with a glass of wine. We ordered a curry with sweet potato fries and a serve of coconut rice. The curry with the rice has a creamy but sweet taste, but not like sugar sweet. It is hard to describe, as the curry also has a ting bit of a spice but coupled the rice and chicken, it is not overpowering coming from a beginner with spicy food. <br/><br/>The sweet potato fries are delectable, crispy on the outside but soft on the inside, cooked to perfection. If you come for happy hour, they are only $5, as well as other alcoholic drinks discounted too.
Makan2Melbourne
An Asian-inspired brunch place in Camberwell. Their menu wasn’t like any usual brunch place, it was more suitable for sharing. Pork belly was bland and a bit tough, need more flavour. Short rib was tender and tasty, with fluffy buns on the side, which actually I didn’t think was necessary. The salmon was pretty good too. The soft shell crab tortilla was one of my favourite. It was refreshing and not too heavy. Overall, it was unique and interesting. The flavour needs a kick, but it was worth to try.

Great food great service! Especially love the soft shell crispy shack and also the rice noodle. The staff there are so friendly, highly recommend!! 5/5 rate!

In a suburb with plenty of dining options, Infuse has a lot to live up to, so I was interested to see if they would hold their own. I was pleasantly surprised that they went beyond my expectations with both the food and service, and they definitely are one of my new favourites in the area. We had experienced hideous weather and traffic and actually turned up to our reservation later than expected, but the staff were so lovely and accommodating, that we were immediately put at ease. It was rather busy for a mid week dinner, but the staff remained calm and controlled and still managed to be friendly and chatty.<br/><br/>I started with a delicious lychee martini, a lovely Asian spin on the classic. The menu at Infuse has an Asian slant with lots of spice and flavour, and soon our tastebuds were dancing with all the yummy food we tried. The IFC was a huge hit with us. Infuses spin on popcorn chicken was delicious... crispy yet tender, with a zingy crumb coating and two sweet and spicy dipping sauces. We only had the one entree as we wanted to indulge with the mains, and indulge we did!!<br/><br/>The Barramundi curry was amazing. Perfectly cooked fish with the most delicious salty, crunchy skin. The curry sauce was sensational. So spicy, but not in a 'too hot' way. Just the right amount of heat, but still loads of flavour, I couldn't get enough of this dish. Thankfully we had ordered a side of roti, which was perfect for mopping up the remainder of this amazing sauce.<br/><br/>In total contrast we also chose the pork belly with prawn and peanut popcorn. This dish was also fantastic, but in a totally different way. The pork was still perfectly soft with amazing crackling, but this sauce was slightly sweeter, but still with a touch of spice. The accompanying vegetables and crunchy crackle pieces really complemented the dish, and again it was such a pleasure to eat.<br/><br/>We couldn't leave without trying dessert, and we chose the upside down red velvet cheesecake. Served in a cute jar, the presentation was so pretty, and I'm happy to say that it also delivered on flavour. Essentially a deconstructed cheesecake, it was everything you would want... creamy sweet cheese topped with crumbled red velvet cookies, white chocolate and fresh berries. An absolutely delightful way to finish an epic meal, and we were fighting for the last spoonful.<br/><br/>Infuse is also open for breakfast and lunch, and is located just off the main road, but is so easy to find. With an open space, comfortable seating and lots of natural light, it's perfect for an intimate date night or a large family gathering. We are so excited to return to work our way through more of the fantastic menu, and if this visit was anything to go by, it won't be our last.

What an experience. Some of the best Asian fusion I have had. The pork belly buns are delicious and that fried chicken 👌👌 Then fished off with a curry. Superb

A stunning restaurant in Camberwell’s thriving culinary scene, Infuse’s unmistakable charm is alluring with its adventurous menu that explores the punchy flavours and exotic spices of Asian inspired Modern Australian fare.<br/><br/>The dish of chilli tofu was a stunning start to our visit. A melange of sweetness, savouriness, chilli kick and a touch of acidity, this was a beautiful dish comprising of deep fried vermicelli soaking in flavour some sauce together with melt in your mouth tofu laced with chicken mince, dried shallots, sesame and chilli.

Such an amazing asian fusion restaurant. With amazing ambience and staff providing quality service to accompany the food of such a high quality. Everything on the menu looks so good, it’s hard to pin point a champion dish when everything was beyond amazing

I loved everything about Infuse Camberwell, starting off with the wonderful service on the day we were there for dinner. Nick, I believe, was wonderful, kind and attentive and checked with us numerous times and made sure we were comfortable! <br/><br/>Ambiance: I really loved the spacious feel of the space, you can easily dine here with a party of 10 for a family gathering as well as intimate dining with just one other person. Nice and warm on the cold/windy day it was outside.<br/><br/>Food: We ordered from a variety of dishes and the menu has a LOT of variety. Whether you want seafood, chicken, beef, vegetarian, you've got it all here! We started off with some lovely mocktails, the Ginger Peach Mojito which is my new favorite drink! <br/><br/>We started off with some delicious Beef Wagyu dumplings - freshly fried with crispy skin and lovely ginger soy sauce, an excellent way to start off the meal. Along with this, a side of tangy Asian slaw is a good way to try something other than a standard salad!<br/><br/>The Red Curried Atlantic Salmon wrapped in BANANA LEAVES was a win for us, I think the vegetable ceviche was unique and when you pair it up with some warm coconut rice, this combo is just a real winner.<br/><br/>I tried the crispy skin Barramundi w/ spicy curry and also paired this with coconut rice, the sweetness in the rice is an excellent way to balance the spicy rice!  <br/><br/>Another huge hit was the perfectly done Chilli Beef Ribs, wait till you try the melt in your mouth not too spicy beef, which you can make into a tiny bao sandwich all loaded up with some fresh coriander leaves. <br/><br/>For dessert, we had a divine Dark Chocolate Souffle which is GF, this was so warm and fluffy, and it took 10-15 minutes to bake fresh in the oven, and I loved that it did. The result was very much worth it with the melted chocolate center just oozing out when you broke it and was nicely served with some vanilla ice-cream. I would actually suggest that the souffle was so good on its own that it did not need the ice-cream.<br/><br/>Excellent food, excellent service, warm ambiance, and affordable prices all walkable from all types of public transport - what more can one ask for?<br/><br/>Thank you Infuse, Camberwell - for the hospitality and the excellent food you consistently bring out!

I came here recently to try out their dinner menu. I didn't have any expectations however, I heard a lot of good things about this place. The staff greeted us as soon as we came in - they provided great service.<br/><br/>We ordered the Braised Wagyu Beef Brisket dumplings with ginger soy sauce, the Roasted Lemongrass Chicken Skewers and the Yellow Fin Tuna for starters. The Yellow Fin Tuna was a stand out for me, it was fresh and sweet - it was a nice surprise plus it was beautifully platted. The skewers and the dumplings was equally delicious. The dumplings had a bit of a crunch and the skewers was perfectly seasoned.<br/><br/>We moved on to the mains with the Otway Pork Belly, the Green curry with the pan fried Barramundi and coconut rice. The pork belly was super crispy, the prawn and peanut salsa adds so much flavour, it was one of my favourite dishes of the night. The green curry was also very delicious and it was definitely my favourite dish. I have only ever had green curry with vegetables or chicken. The fish took it to that next level. I couldn't believe how amazingly it tasted together.<br/><br/>We also ordered the 2 mocktails they have on their drinks menu. They looked beautiful and was very refreshing. For dessert, we had the Shake Me Like A Mess. It was a mixture of strawberry, lemon meringue, kiwi fruit, grapes, mango coulis, almond and coconut in a jar. It also came with a shortbread biscuit. This was the perfect dessert to end the night. <br/><br/>What a lovely experience, I super duper HIGHLY recommend this place!<br/>p.s. We missed out on the Slow Cooked Lamb Shanks - soooo, we will definitely be back!!

It's times like this where I get super frustrated at how stubborn/stuck in my ways I am! When it comes to experimenting with differing cuisines, I'm terrible! I like to stick to what I know (brunch) and that's about it! Boy am I glad I went out of my comfort zone to visit Infuse Camberwell!<br/><br/>I could not fault a single thing about my experience. Not only was the service super friendly and welcoming, it was incredibly quick and efficient. The food itself was absolutely heavenly. So SO flavoursome. I ordered the Roasted Cauliflower bowl (lovely, light and tasty), while my boyfriend enjoyed the Penang Curry with jasmine rice. We both ordered a starter of dumplings (myself, the tofu and mushroom; him, the beef) and a side of fries as well. <br/><br/>Not a single element or dish disappointed. From the G&Ts to the vege dumplings to the fries, everything was spot on. This was such a perfect, relaxed date night and I couldn't recommend this spot more! I'm so, so glad I visited and will most definitely be back soon!

3.5/5 Tucked right next to Camberwell Place, Infuse is an all-day eatery where co-owner and chef Mick Huang uses Western techniques to showcase Asian flavours. At 5pm the cafe menu transitions to dinner, which is where we find ourselves on quite a busy night of trading.

I went to Infuse Camberwell with my friend for a dinner. Really love the ambience and the decoration. The staff was super lovely!! 10/10 for their services. :) <br/>So, for starter we ordered crispy bao and salt and pepper calamari. For mains, we ordered green curry pan fried barramundi and tom yum brown fried rice. For the dessert, we ordered upside down strawberry cheesecake. Everything were delightful! but, my favourite dish is the green curry pan fried barramundi. I would definitely recommend Infuse Camberwell to my friends and family :)

Great service, delicious food and drink! <br/><br/>We ordered the TOFU DUMPLINGS which were soft and pan fried to perfection, the TOFU curry which was delicious with just the right amount of spice, and the CAULIFLOWER BOWL, which was fresh, light and tasty! <br/><br/>The drinks list is great here too 🍸

Visited recently for dinner with my partner.<br/>Staff were really lovely and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed.<br/>For entree we had the fried chicken and dumpling... fried chicken was really tasty and I really enjoyed.<br/>Mains we had the pork belly and the green curry. <br/>We both loved the green curry as the flavours were perfect and just the right amount of spice.

We were invited to Infuse last night, an impressive restaurant conveniently located nearby both the train and tram stop. The modern interior impressed and I was surprised by how busy it was bang on 6pm of a Monday night. <br/><br/>We ordered salt and pepper calamari, king prawn spring rolls with yellow curry sauce, crispy chicken with garlic soy and sweet sauce and beef brisket dumplings. It was quite difficult to pick those four entree sizes dishes as there are so many items on the menu and they all sounded quite yummy. <br/><br/>The servings were generous and the sauces really elevated each dish. My favourite was probably the tasty dumplings but the plump juicy chicken was a close second. They were all served with lots of herbs which brought a lovely freshness and pop of flavour. Perfect with my delectable coconut splice cocktail! <br/><br/>Our main dishes were the curried red salmon wrapped in banana leaf and the exceptional slow cooked lamb shank. This was deliciously tender and so unbelievably flavoursome. I literally used a spoon to drink the remaining sauce. This is a must order! Dessert is also not to be missed. We had the upside down strawberry cheesecake which was beautifully presented and full of fabulous textures. <br/><br/>The dark chocolate soufflé was more fondant like, super gooey and decadent. We loved trying both of these to switch spoons between pure indulgence and light and fruity. Definitely recommend ordering the duo!

The award for WORST brunch of 2019 goes to..... Infuse Camberwell. Zomato's slogan is "Never have a bad meal" well I honestly don't know how this place has a rating of 4.4. To say this place compares to other high rating local cafes (Heritage Wall, Bakers Wife, Legacy, Prospect Expresso) would do injustice to Zomato's credibility. It's very rare for me to justify writing a review but after eating brunch there this morning (30 mins ago), I felt like I had to do this as a community service. The highlight of the meal was the cappuccino and that was average at best. The strawberry milkshake was sickenly diabetes sweet. Felt like half the cup was filled with strawberry jam and I have a sweet tooth. We ordered the Sam I am & Prawn Chilli scrambled. I get this place is Asian Fusion (Supernormal, Lucy Liu, Red Spice Road are some of my favs) but Infuse Camberwell just turned out NQR. Everything lacked flavour and taste. We could only finish half our plates and ended up getting some sushi takeaway from Suzuran.

The food here was mouth watering! Well priced and delicious asian fusion. We ordered the fried chicken (so good), dumplings & wontons to start. For mains we had the lamb shank, bao and lamb ribs. Every single dish was full of flavour! we will be back!

Really nice food and super friendly staff 😊. Their toastier are really good too if you go in the morning. <br/><br/>Recommend the chocolate French toast it wasn’t too sweet and just perfect with dark chocolate mousse. <br/><br/>Chilli scrambled crepe was good too

Fantastic food including Nasi Goreng and Slow Cooked Lamb Shank. Great customer service and ambiance. The fruit juices were nice and fresh too.
The Brunchabout Diaries
This place has Asian fusion food that manages to both taste sublime and suit people of all different palates.<br/><br/>I usually come to Infuse for brunch but thought I’d try dinner this time with a friend that can be a picky eater. Like always, their meals were top notch - and my friend agreed too. We got the Braised Wagyu Beef Dumplings, ICC (Infuse Crispy Chicken) and Beef Brisket Tacos. The ICC was super light and crispy. The tacos were also a standout because they were filled with fresh ingredients, generously sized and the beef brisket was flavour-packed. <br/><br/>Infuse also has a range of Asian inspired cocktails - the Lychee Martini I had was delicious. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable experience.<br/><br/>Edit: also came here the other day and had a fabulous smashed avo!

Been a while since we posted - time to get back to it! <br/><br/>Meal: Dinner<br/><br/>Ordered: Beef brisket tacos, crispy bao, Penang curry and Tom yum brown fried rice<br/><br/>We found this cute little restaurant while in the Camberwell area and we were not disappointed! The crispy bao was DELICIOUS! The Penang curry and Tom yum friend rice were great too. The drink is a mocktail (I know, we are on a no alcohol run for feb! 😱)<br/>A must visit restaurant if you are ever in the Camberwell area!

This is such a great place! By day it’s a Melbourne cafe but by night it’s an Asian infused dining experience! The food here is absolutely delish and this place deserves a lot more credit for the food it serves. The prices are reasonable, and the service is very friendly and attentive! I went back recently and again it’s absolutely amazing!

We came for a quick meal before hitting the cinemas, we where quickly greeted and seated at about 5pm.<br/>The service was very friendly and helpful with our decisions and recommended perfect sizes for us (a couple) to eat.<br/>The food and Lychee Martini where great! We will definately be back and recommend to our family and friends!

Had both the Beef Brisket Bun and the Flat Egg Noodle. The Bun comes with a generous amount of sweet potato chips. The Bun was good; nothing special but quite filling. The sweet potato chips were yummy!! Properly flavoured and not too salty. The Noodles was all vegetable (*can also have chicken with it); it was generously topped with mushrooms and the noodles were fried very well that you could taste the wok hei (**essence imparted by the wok when cooked over high heat ...very important in good fried noodles/rice allows the dish to have an almost charred flamy taste if that makes sense) the mixture of the noodles with the lemon wedge and mint makes it taste like pad thai.Definite recommendation. They also have good happy hour drink rates!

Have been to several of the cafe offerings in this location over the years, but Infuse is in a class of its own, fully deserving the 4+ rating. The turmeric porridge was an amazing concoction, beautifully presented with a wide variety of tastes and textures. My friends had the smashed avo, with excellent portion control and perfectly poached egg, and scrambled eggs with bacon......all superb. The tendency these days to fold rather than scramble eggs is interesting, but it didn’t detract from the excellence of the offering. Coffee was pronounced as outstanding. Definitely one for the ‘A’ list! Their social media presence could do with some improvement though, my only criticism......

overall: 3.9<br/>surprisingly good! I’m always on the fence with “fusion” food as they usually neither here or there taste-wise but that is not the case here. Taste good, generous size, friendly service, chill and relaxing atmosphere make this place a good place for weekend catch ups and chats.

Came here with my wife after work, excellent customer service and menu.<br/>I had the pork belly bao, it was delicious.<br/>Can't wait to return and try the rest of the menu.

One of my colleagues took me there for dinner and the food was delicious! I tried the roasted pumpkin green curry with roti. My oh my, it was full of flavour and the curry itself was heavenly. The texture was creamy and it went so well with all the vegetables: chick peas, roasted pumpkins, kale and baby corn. Dipping my roti in the curry was a very satisfying experience. I will definitely be back.

FoodieGuru_770
Came here for a quick breakfast prior to a meeting. Had some multigrain toast which was fine and also had a double ristreto which was nicely served with some sparkling mineral water. It has a good ambience and I would have given a higher rating if they had a newspaper to read.

Interesting cafe that serves thai asian cuisine. Had a pumpkin bowl with black rice it was quite nice, price slightly on the upper side and the place smell cooking

Nice vibe and I know its Camberwell but $16 for a breakfast roll that contains cheese, bacon, egg, tomato relish and tomatoes(which wasn't clearly listed and misleading to someone who doesn't eat tomatoes) and comes with a hash brown is a bit steep. Bacon was hot but it was all difficult to eat and messy. Not worth the $16 at all.

Ideally I’d like to give this place a 3.5.<br/>The food here wasn’t bad, the mushroom dumplings were pretty good, as was the green curry with soft shell crab (albeit very very spicy). The most average dish was the pork baos, wouldn’t recommend people getting those.<br/>Overall ok.

What a find!<br/>We stopped by for lunch on a cold, wintery day, hoping for something warm and hearty and we weren't disappointed.<br/>The menu is diverse, Asian inspired, with small plates and larger meals, like curries and noodles, bowls, soups etc.<br/>Service was excellent, welcoming right from the time we got to the front door, to the time we left.<br/>Our curries were fabulous, full of flavour and sensational fresh vegetables. His was a confit of duck in penang curry, mine was green curry chicken.<br/>So many other enticing dishes on the menu, we'll definitely be returning.<br/>They had a special advertised, gourmet toasties and a coffee for $10. Sounds like a winner to me.
Two Sheds
I endorse the current impressive 4.1 rating. The outside of the place didn’t excite me. The inside too was just ok and nothing special. No matter. The food and service were wonderful and that’s the main game. We both had the curry lamb shanks which were outstanding with a little rice on the side. The flavour was excellent, meat tender and just falling off the bone, and it looked good too. Service was happy, friendly and efficient as well. So, put aside the aesthetics of the building and the fit out. The food and service are wonderful and I’d be delighted to return.

Overall rating: 3.5<br/>No. Of Visit: 7<br/>This diner has a bit of everything, being the typical Aussie brunch cafe serving coffee & smash avo in the morning, but change to the more Asian-influenced restaurant at night with bar / cocktail options. <br/><br/>So how much do I love them?<br/>Brekky: Quite alright, a fair taste, great price in Camberwell area. Coffee blend is on the bitter side.<br/>Lunch & Dinner: Entrees are beautiful - I almost tried everyone of them and nothing has disappointed so far. ***highly recommended Beef Dumpling***<br/>Mains are tasty too - if you are meat lover, go for beef ribs, lamb shanks or pork belly. However, fried rice / Fried noddles are not recommended as they tended to be quite watery and bland.<br/><br/>Cocktail & wine are ordinary. <br/>Staffs are super friendly, extra credit for that!!

Infuse has such a Mixed menu which I love, has plenty of variety with a heap healthy options! <br/>Easy parking, in a great location, not to over crowded. <br/>I have yet wait to be seated, very friendly, warm and welcoming. <br/>Perfect for Sunday brunch or even a quick healthy dinner. <br/>

What a lovely Sunday to get a quick breakfast before going to church. Found this cafe close to camberwell junction. Easily get parking. Everything’s perfect!<br/><br/>Upon my arrival of the cafe, the place & ambience was very nice with a natural bright light, high ceiling up with a twist of retro & old school vibes on it. The staff was greeting us nicely and showed me the table straight away.<br/><br/>Food:<br/>French toast on skillet- presentation was so pretty & colourful with so many variety of elements. First bite to try the french toast without anything was quite dry. Taste just like ordinary toast, quite flavourless. however once you blend the raspberry crumbs, vanilla ice cream, the maple and the toast,it feels better in my mouth. NO, actually very delicious! The berries were really fresh and contrast well with the toast.<br/>Breakfast salmon- First impression was, nice and colourful presentation on plate. Salmon was perfectly cooked, comes with poached egg, variety of vegetables and 4 small pieces of crunchy toast. However lack of seasoning and i feel like there’s no wow factor on it. <br/><br/>After i finished the meal, went to the cashier & tried to paid on card. However the card machine was not working and i don’t have any spare cash;( So i went outside to search atm near the cafe and luckily found one.<br/><br/>Overall, the staffs were very friendly, the food comes out quicker than i expected and the place was major crush! I really enjoyed my time here..:)<br/><br/><br/>#BHAsFoodDiary
