IG: @ediblemelbourne We visited o’Wok Kitchen on a Friday night and it was quite busy when we walked in. Thankfully we got a table straight away and service was swift and welcoming. We decided to go with the recommendations of the staff there; chicken ribs with chili, fish noodle soup, lamb chops, homemade dumplings – you name it. The highlight of our night was definitely the lamb chops – they were perfectly cooked, crispy skin, the right amount of fat and meat and seasoned with the most amazing concoction of salt and spices. The second best that we had was the glass noodle fish soup – the fish was falling apart and the soup had such a depth of flavor. So good; we can still taste it in our head. We cannot wait to return and try more off the menu – especially more of the homemade dumplings; the selection is so massive.

This Authentic Chinese restaurant has one of the friendliest staff. The interior is quite dark but sheds in some light via the ceiling. Honey chicken - I must say is one of the best in Melbourne. The most crisp batter and the honey that glazes over it is so solid and sweet. Japanese pan fried vegetarian dumplings - freshly made and the skin is skin with the most filling fillings of thin glass noodles and a mix of veggies. The same goes for the Pork and chive dumplings. The deep fried chicken with chilli pepper is one of their best sellers. Even with less chillies, a red bowl could be seen. So spicy yet so full of aroma. The chicken is cut into small pieces.

We have been scouring this area for a decent Vietnamese and happy to find Pho Anh. Went on a weekday evening and finding service to be quite good. Ordered beef pho and lemon grass beef vermiceli. Liked the soup of the pho, more herb flavour than meat flavour. Would definitely come back as it is reasonably priced for Camberwell.

Lovely Vietnamese restaurant on the main road in Camberwell. Newly open just this month and especially enjoy the decor. To be real honest I’ve had better pho broth but I understand this is no Springvale. Serving is reasonably sized and good meat to noodle ratio. The noodles was really nice, didn’t fall apart too much between my chopsticks. Would be nice with quicker service but staff was lovely.

Do yourself a favour and come here. The dumplings are just amazing, freshly made and juicy. All the deep fried stuff is not oily and cooked in clean oil. Dishes are sparkling, staff is friendly and the price is unbelievably low. I do hope the place will get more busy and popular with a time. Thank you for the great dining experience every time we come here.

Solid local dumpling place, which is nice to have North of the station once again, in a venue/area where nothing seems to survive longer than 3-6 month at the moment. Like many dumpling places things came out in a weird order at strange extended intervals, and dumpling plates has 12-15 pieces as opposed to the menu which said 8, so we ended up substantially over-ordering. Good food made up for the oddities though. Good dumplings (hot and well cooked) and the rice and noodles were tasty.
