I haven’t enjoyed fresh sourdough like this in a very long time. Soy and linseed was fantastic, and the walnut and raisin fruit loaf is outrageously tasty.
Our coffees were also really great and didn’t take long to get to us even though they were getting smashed with customers.
10/10 will visit regularly
Great service and fabulous bakery items. My favourite (though everything good) was the ham and cheese croissant with aniseed sprinkles
This place is definitely underrated! It should be one of the best bakery in town! Their sourdough is widely used by brunch restaurants nearby. The morning bun, pies, croissants are all amazing!

Great little morning cafe with a plethora of delicious baked goodies!!!
I have had a few really nice mornings here with the ladies. It is a little busy just after 7am, so get in a little earlier to beat the rush!
Had a long black and some fruit toast this morning, they were both great! The toast was really nutty and filling. Will be back just for that fruit toast and may try some of your baked goods! 💕
Superb pastries, good coffee and a wide variety of bread. Queue waiting to buy bread and pastries. Great coffee shop.
Just like the Bondi version. Great sourdough and an abundant pastry selection with coffee to boot. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Pet friendly space in the outdoor area.
Eating here is a must. The neopolitan pizza was out of this world, probably my favourite thing here. The ham and cheese baguette was really fresh and had great textures. We loved the signature breakfast bun, it was satisfying tearing it apart. The food brews were just ok, I'll probably get hot coffees when we next return.
I have bought Sonoma bread from my local Woolies in Sydney so we were so excited to see this bakery cafe in Canberra. Coffee and bread all tasted great. We lined up for 5 min and we were quickly served for bread and grabbed takeaway coffee within 10 min.

Good bakery! Sourdough so crunchy outside and fluffy inside. But the line is somehow tooooo long. I see staffs working so hard, maybe 1 or 2 extra staff will help.
Can't believe it took me this long to try this place. I had a ham and cheese baguette and it was DELICIOUS!
Indoor seating is limited. Outdoor area is a good place to people watch in Braddon with a cup of coffee. The chairs outside are comfy but not the little stools. They have provided blankets n heaters so it's not too chilly.
I wanted to also buy some bread from here but most of it was already sold out and they didn't have much of a selection left. Will definitely be visiting again!
Didn’t expect long queue on weekday morning. Croissants were sold out already at 9am. Bought almond croissant and morning buns. They are tasty and fresh.
Delightful place for an easy weekend brunch with phenomenal croissants and coffee. The sourdough bread was top class (premium priced) and the pastries were sensational. We also tried the eggplant ricotta baguette which could’ve been a bit better. Overal great vibe to the place and a must visit when one is in Canberra. Good luck with the parking on a busy weekend!
Wanted to give this place five stars because the food is phenomenal. But the staff are appalling slow. If I was the boss I’d sack them. Not sure what the issue is, but given it’s such a popular place wouldn’t you staff who are fast on their feet?! “Not Cross Buns”, bread, baguette rolls (filled), are delicious. Worth the wait… if you can be bothered. We will be back again. But may not make it a regular if the service remains so awfully slow.
