Been to King O’Malleys a few times before and decided to have my 21st party in the Castle Room. Lovely and quirky function room, good meals, and the staff were super helpful and accommodating for us. Would definitely recommend �

Awesome place traditional country style with fireplace. Great staff family business loved it and the kids loved looking at all the antique furniture and typewriter old never seen one before. The food excellent big meals delicious ❤️

In terms of food, the prices are pretty high for what you get which is basic pub fare. Kingos is great for a relaxed drink outside with friends, or inside as it is quite spacious. Highly recommend for a "chilled out" evening in town. The other plus is if you are really hungry, you could always get chips and gravy from the chicken shop next door and eat it outside in the "beer garden".

Came on a quick afternoon stop over here a few weeks back. I don't drink alcohol but my husband does. Instead, I opted for a soda and also their supreme pizza which was surprisingly good for a pub food. The place was very relaxing, it just have a positive vibe to it 😀

We were there on Xmas eve. I was happy with my O'Malley salad: large portion, fresh and yummy. But my partner didn't like his chicken parmigiana. Chips and chicken were not fresh at all.

Clean The Plate

As our final “Pub of the Month” we chose King O’Malley’s. As with P. J. O’Reilly’s it was established in Canberra many years ago and has changed over the years. It is located in City Walk. Originally we’d planned to visit on a Thursday, but life does not always like plans, so we went on a Friday.
