Amazing service, one of the dish was a bit too hot for us and the cook proposed to bring another dish more of a mild taste and won't charge for it. They were really caring, the food is awesome and the environment is really nice, really enjoyed it !
Staff was also really polite and attentive !

My husband and I just went out to dinner here. We had planned to go to Italian first but it was full so we came here by chance, and it turned out to be a great option! The food was lovely, fresh and fast. The service was amazing by all three staff who served us.
My husband found one dish too spicy and we were impressed to have the owner come out and personally apologise and ask if we wanted a replacement (which we didnt, the taste was lovely). Will definitely come again.
Last night we went looking for a place for dinner along the Kingston foreshore and walked straight past 7 By The Lake because there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. But thank god we decided to eat there because the food without doubt is one of the best Indian meals that me and my husband have ever had. The staff were wonderful, they love a chat and the service was fabulous. So if your ever visiting the restaurants along the Kingston foreshore in Canberra, we highly recommend 7 By The Lake..........5 Stars from us :-)
So far this is the best restaurant serving indian food in Canberra. The food is spiced to perfection. There is a wide variety of items in the menu and the meals seem cooked fresh (not stored and served for several days). A must visit if you’re touring Canberra.
Perfect as usual. Beef Korma is not one the menu. But you can order it 😋
One of my favourite indian restaurants in Canberra now. The food isn't too rich but incredibly flavoursome. They cater for spicy and mild dishes as well as some street food options. I would recommend the Malai Kofta and Chilli Chicken as my two favourite dishes.
The dining area is quite spacious with lots of room between tables. We have also gotten takeaway from here a couple of times and the food is well packaged and travels well.
The food is very reasonably priced with good meal portions.
Been there 4 times and every time the food has been top class. Chicken Tikka masala is a must try. Easily top 3 Indian restaurants in Canberra!

Just had a lovely meal at this Indian restaurant on the foreshore. The front of house staff were so warm and welcoming, especially towards our little puppy, Teddy.
The menu was varied and there were many dishes you just don’t see available in other Indian restaurants in Canberra.
