Possibly one of the largest sushi train restaurants I've dined at. The $3.50 for all plates promotion is great value and there's a fantastic variety to choose from.
Hero has a lovely relaxed atmosphere with good music. Both times I have been here the sushi has been full of flavour and beautifully presented. A favourite of mine is taoyaki- this one was nice and warm and came with a generous portion of mayo, mm mmm!
1st time here. The Friday night I went sushi on the train was $3.50. However, the Sashimi was $7.50 per plate and there were only 4 lousy slices. Overall a good selection of different tasting sushi.
Good, fresh Sushi and friendly service. We visited after work today to grab a quick dinner and were stoked when we walked into the Friday night special deal.
After stacking a pile of plates we left both satisfied and looking forward to our next visit.
Not sure how much the different plates normally cost, but with the $3.50 (for all plates) promo it was really good value for money. Interesting variety and almost everything I tried was tasty - with the one exception of the fried prawn, the batter wasn't crunchy enough and I couldn't actually taste the prawn. I will probably go there again the next time I have a craving for sushi.
One of the better sushi train restaurants I've been too, and just like the ones you find in Tokyo. Well stocked, with a large variety of tasty, fresh, well prepared dishes. Noisy, chaotic, and not cheap, but a good place to go for a quick, tasty sushi lunch.
Canberra's best sushi experience. Fun, funky, always busy & the sushi is fresh, delicious and not going to break the bank. The Scallop sushi and soft shell crab hand rolls were the standouts. Service can be a little haphazard.
AMAZING!! You must eat here! Slightly expensive but it's worth it. The food is amazing.
Black rice sushi - amazing.
Hero Sushi recently opened up its sushi train in the Canberra Centre. Next to Papparich and near Jamie's , the sushi train looks impressive.
