I quite enjoy the food here, I've been once and all the seafood was really fish. The restaurant is quite small but there is an upstairs area where you can sit as well. I will definitely be back in the near future to try their other dishes!
Ordered: tofu seaweed, sweet and sour pork, fried rice, peking duck, green beans, lobster and coral trout fish. Only disappointing thing was the fried rice. Tasted dry and would have preferred just plain rice. Also not much meat or sauce on the duck so it tasted pretty average.
Visited Dragon Bowl with a group of friends on a Friday night and the place was buzzing with celebrations! Definitely recommend booking if you want a spot because there weren’t many around. Dragon Bowl has a nice upstairs area for larger groups.
These are the orders we made from my least favourite to most favourite dishes - combination fried rice, abalone in ginger and shallots, pi pi in xo sauce with crispy vermicelli boron, salt and pepper squid, mud crab in vermicelli hot pot and Peking duck (2 courses). Other than not personally being a fan of Chinese fried rice, the abalone itself was quite bland without the ginger and shallots. I wasn’t fond of the texture. They were very generous with the pi pis and it had a spice to it. The salt and pepper squid was perfectly crispy and flavourful despite how white it looked. The mud crab and noodles were so so so flavourful and hot. A huge pot (2kg crab) and we had leftovers. The Peking duck was my absolute favourite. The pancake was a thin slice and the duck had a crispy skin. We opted for the shredded duck meat in lettuce (san cho bow) which was the perfect combination! Overall, great experience. Looking forward to our next visit. Staff were friendly and service was quick!
