I quite enjoy the food here, I've been once and all the seafood was really fish. The restaurant is quite small but there is an upstairs area where you can sit as well. I will definitely be back in the near future to try their other dishes!
Ordered: tofu seaweed, sweet and sour pork, fried rice, peking duck, green beans, lobster and coral trout fish. Only disappointing thing was the fried rice. Tasted dry and would have preferred just plain rice. Also not much meat or sauce on the duck so it tasted pretty average.
Visited Dragon Bowl with a group of friends on a Friday night and the place was buzzing with celebrations! Definitely recommend booking if you want a spot because there weren’t many around. Dragon Bowl has a nice upstairs area for larger groups.
These are the orders we made from my least favourite to most favourite dishes - combination fried rice, abalone in ginger and shallots, pi pi in xo sauce with crispy vermicelli boron, salt and pepper squid, mud crab in vermicelli hot pot and Peking duck (2 courses). Other than not personally being a fan of Chinese fried rice, the abalone itself was quite bland without the ginger and shallots. I wasn’t fond of the texture. They were very generous with the pi pis and it had a spice to it. The salt and pepper squid was perfectly crispy and flavourful despite how white it looked. The mud crab and noodles were so so so flavourful and hot. A huge pot (2kg crab) and we had leftovers. The Peking duck was my absolute favourite. The pancake was a thin slice and the duck had a crispy skin. We opted for the shredded duck meat in lettuce (san cho bow) which was the perfect combination! Overall, great experience. Looking forward to our next visit. Staff were friendly and service was quick!
A great little Chinese restaurant near Canley Vale station with private dining rooms in the back.
Restaurant opens 'til late. Good prices and great-tasting seafood. Very friendly staff and amazing customer service every time I visit!
One of my favourite seafood restaurants in the area. The food here is fresh and cooked perfectly! Can't fault this place unless it's really really busy, then staff are running around. Salted duck egg crab is so good too!
One of my favourite seafood restaurants. My family goes here a lot for celebrations and I get excited everytime. Nothing better than abalone, oysters, pippies, crab or lobster noodles. The wasabi beef is always good aswell.
Been here several times on special occasions! The food here are amazing with a menu filled with different variety of seafood dishes that you can choose from. My favourite dishes here are the pipis with xo sauce, either lobster or crab with egg noodles, scallops with vermecilli noodles and steamed fish. Also tried out fried prawns, tofu dish and peas - all very delicious to eat. These are very traditional chinese dishes and they are cooked perfectly everytime!
If you're coming in a large group always book tables beforehand as they will give you private rooms whereby its comfortable and won't be as noisy! In terms of service, the staff are great as they constantly coming in to check if we would want something to drink or clearing finished dishes.
Came here for work xmas dinner we ordered whole heap of seafood dishes including fried mud crab, robsters, abalone, steamed fish and tofu with vegetable. And they were all amazing!! Every dish was incredibly tasty. Only thing i wasn't that keen was oyster with noodles; oysters were quite tough and chewy. Cant say service is the best but wasnt bad. The place was packed afterall. Great seafood Chinese restaurant highly recommend.
I've been here on numerous occasions and it's my go to for my seafood fix!
The Singaporian crab with noodles and the pipi's with crispy noodles would easily be my favourite
They have a large range of food and open to late hours which is so good for late night munchies
It's a little pricey but definitely worth it!
Typical Chinese fare that was above average. Had the Pipis w XO sauce at $48 a serving, live Barra at $48 a kg, crispy chicken $18, salt and pepper tofu, salted fish hotpot, Peking pork ribs. Everything was tasty, well cooked, nicely seasoned and service was good.
Amazing selection of fresh seafood dishes and more! Love the claypot Xo crab, never dissapoints. My dads favourite restaurant- i would give it a four but the service is typical chinese service- non-attentive- but that is standard for all most asian restaurants. Food is cheaper than most seafood restaurants around canley/cabra, and as delicious! Food pictured below are my recommended dishes!
