The best pies, and sausage rolls! We love coming here for the pie, mash potato and mushy pea special. Chips are delicious, and so is the snitzels. Wish they were open a bit later though. 😄
Stopped in for brunch, got the veggie stack (pictured). Service was friendly and good, coffee was good and the veg stack was delicious. Would definitely stop here again. Got a couple of meat pies to go, they reheated well and were tasty.
The outpost cafe makes Housemade pies in their own kitchen. I had a lamb Rosemary pie with mashed peas and gravy with the sunrise drink. The pie itself was delicious with real meat inside and was crusty on the outside. Both the mash pea and potatoes complimented the pie and gave it that extra balance of flavours. The sunrise drink was refreshing and was quickly downed to finish off a good pie. The service was quick even during the lunch rush. All reasonably priced too.
