Extraordinary view, good food, ordinary coffee. The views from this cafe are simply beautiful, providing an oasis for the mind after the long drives one has in Queensland. We had coffees and a custard tart. The custard was an absolute beauty and highly recommended. The other food offerings looked very good quality. The two lattes and the cappuccino could have been better. However, the quality coffee bug has not hit Queensland in a serious way yet, and certainly not in North Queensland. The food and coffees were on the pricey side, but that's probably because of the view and the lack of competition. The service was good though some staff look like they live on the wild side a little. We would most certainly return to this oasis for the mind.
Had lunch with friends salt and pepper calamari was beautiful! Others had breakfast and steak sandwich all were fresh and tasty will definitely be back 😄
A gem with some of the best food for hundreds of kilometres around. Stunned by the best meat pie I've ever had: full of melting real beef, rich, complex flavour, good pastry. Crab sandwiches are good, but perhaps not the best in a town famous for them.
Always fast, friendly, outstanding service, happy to make you anything to have in, or take over the road to the new dugong playground next to the jetty. Amen.
