This place has never disappointed. I get everything gluten free as there is a separate fryer with a delicious, light gluten free batter that he perfectly cooks every time. The sizes are more than what you'd expect for what you're paying, which is essentially unheard of when purchasing anything coeliac-friendly. The fish and chips aren't overly oily which I find a problem with other fish and chips places. Overall one of my favourite places for a meal I never feel too guilty about eating!

I am coeliac so decided to visit Carlisle Fish Supply for dinner after hearing they provide gluten free batter. The fish was the best battered fish I have ever had, my non coeliac husband also enjoyed it. Service was good and friendly, and we found it great value for money. We will definitely return
Gluten free options were all amazing. I’ve got a big family and no one knew they were eating gf. Best gf batter and chips were perfect. I’ve been eating here for 3 years and I’ve never wasted a chip. Eric is always friendly to me and his family serve me sometimes and are very polite and patient while I explain my requirements. Customer service is what you get in return for your own manners. I’ve witnessed many rude customers while waiting. Well done Eric. See you on Sundays! We love your fish n chips and your attitude is A+
Just had gluten free fish and chips. Highly recommended doesn’t look flash but clean and great food. The guy (owner?) that served us was really nice and polite.
We've eaten here multiple times and every time the food has been great. My partner is coeliac so there's not many options for gluten free fish and chips around, but luckily this one isn't too far from home.
Everything is crispy and tasty, and the serving size is always more than enough to give everyone overly full stomachs.
But the best part is, those eating with us don't even know it's gluten free until we tell them.
The service here is outstanding and the owner is always happy and cheerful which makes coming here a much nicer experience.
Best Chips. Husband says best chips he's ever had. Didn't have to wait long either. Maybe because we got in early and the chips were fresh.

Delicious!. I tried this gluten free fish and chip shop for the first time tonight and I loved it!!! The batter certaintly was NOT like cardboard at all (as per a previous review). It was light and did not leave a sickly feeling like some deep-fried foods do. The chips were crunchy and delicious, and the pinapple fritter was fresh and perfectly battered. In addition to the lovely food, the service from the wonderful man who runs the store was simply delightful! I will be back for both the food and the service. And, I will be spreading the word to as many people as I can! :)
I really enjoyed the fish because it was crispy, well seasoned and gluten free but the serving of chips is small. Note although the batter is gluten free not everything on the menu is gf, the crab sticks prawns and dim sims are not for example. The employees can tell you what to order if you need to avoid gluten. I was charged a $1 surcharge on a $30 order for paying by card though which is ridiculous, so bring cash
Our family love this place. We have 3 coeliacs and two who aren’t. Since we found Carlisle Fish and Chips the whole family eats gluten free. We all enjoy the crispy batter and chips which are not greasy.
It is cash only which is fine when you know before you go.
My family and I highly recommend the shop.
I have no idea where the mean reviews have come from as we attend here regularly and have never had one bad experience. The portion is always generous and we always have a lot of leftovers
Amazing ceoliac friendly gluten free chips. Eric has made me so happy, knowing i can have gluten free chips again! He has a massive range to choose from with gluten free batter and none of it is greasy! I personally had a seafood basket, battered banana fritter, scollaps, extra battered squid rings. All was so good and no upset stomach or reactions!

Definitely the best fish and chips I’ve ever had! The gluten free batter is amazing, super crispy and good coverage. The only negative is that it is definitely a take out kind of restaurant. This is the first time I’ve eaten here and I’ll definitely be a regular from now on! Absolutely love it!!
