Such a delicious, crispy and big pork knuckle with potato dumpling. One of the best knuckle I have eaten in Australia, tasted like the once I have eaten in Munich, Germany. Very friendly staff and a great place to dine and socialise.

We only just discovered this little authentic gem at the end of our road after moving to the area a year ago. We were greeted well and staff were very pleasant. I got very excited about pork knuckle. So much so, my wifes order (which wasn't for the knuckle, but instead for the ribs) went completely in one ear and out the other - I thought the only thing you order at a German club was a knuckle, no?! 2 very large knuckles arrived and she was not happy (with me that is - classic husband). The waitress sensed the angst and the chef very kindly said we could reorder the ribs and take back the knuckle. It was devastating to watch it go back to the kitchen, but the wife was now happy and I can't fault and thank the staff enough for accommodating my mishap.
In review of the knuckle; it was well cooked (in the sense it fell off the bone) and moist, but be prepared to not finish it. You'll be pleased you didn't, however, as it means you can take the remainder home. bonus! I had the best pork sandwiches for the next 2 days - I even (but reluctantly) gave the wife one, which she loved!
The beir selection was fantastic - May I suggest the cloudy fruity banana Hefe Weissbier for the win!

One day I got a flyer on my mailbox about this place, and oh boy what a gem! So happy I decided to go and try their food. My partner and I shared a plate of German sausages, pretzel and pork knuckle. Everything was delicious, including the German beer!
Everyone there is so friendly, and I'm definitely coming back.
