I really enjoyed the coffee here. The food was alright, nothing amazing though. It gets quite busy here on the weekends.
Iced coffee with ice cream hit the spot on a super hot day. Bacon and egg roll is a huge serve; crispy bacon. Good covid safe space and compliance
Excellent spot for a late breakie or lunch... Coffee and food are always tip top - especially their Mushroom n' Fetta Pie and the Smoked Salmon on Turkish. Great team at Castle Cove.
delicious! visited this cafe a little while ago, and ordered the fig and walnut toast with butter, housemade jam, ricotta and passionfruit curd (amazing!!) for around $9. a friend ordered the french toast, around $15, which came with fairy floss, strawberries, maple syrup and bananas! perfect fitting if you're craving something sweet. it's a tad on the more expensive side, but worth it if you want to eat something particularly spectacular! it took quite a while for the food to come out. however it was worth the wait.
Nestled in a strip of local shops, I recently discovered the Castle Cove branch of this little chain of bakeries. Whether eating in, or taking out a treat - the quality and price remains great. And if dining in, the service was excellent as well. Would recommend to just about anyone.
The mini pains au chocolat are the perfect compliment to your drink of choice!
The Grumpy Baker has ample seating despite its relatively small size, and though the south facing aspect can leave the outside area somewhat chillier on winter mornings, the quality of there food and service will bring you back again and again.
As a regular customer, I have found a genuine little sense of community with the staff here—always a pleasure through trying times.
The GB at Castle Cove is one of the best local cafes... Amazing coffee, delicious pastries,
pies and breads , the most attentive and friendly staff .. love this place! You have to try.
Seriously great coffee; superb bread and caring staff, make this a place you will want to visit often and tarry for a while over breakfast or lunch.
