Try the grilled beef, indo grilled chicken, fried chicken, bbq beef ribs, and the pork tonkatsu bao. The staff are amazingly friendly and the food is incredible. Favourite restaurant. Period. I have been back several times and can't fault it.
Really enjoyed the entire meal. Went with my daughter and chose the sharing meal for two. Our choices were Bao-crispy pork really delicious! We also had the grilled chicken-my daughters favourite, a noodle dish and a beef rendang. We chose all 4 dishes from a good selection which also included seafood. The staff were really lovely and very helpful.Definitely going back!!
Service was perfect. Everything we tried (pork belly bites, satay chicken dumplings, spring rolls, prawn bao) was amazing. Highly recommend and will come back again and again :-)

This is my FAVOURITE restaurant in Castle Hill, and possibly all of Sydney. Perhaps it's the fact that Castle Hill really limited choices in terms of quality & interesting food... but Spidar is an amazing gem that serves share plate style Asian fusion food & delectable char grilled skewers.
And the best part... is that they always change up their menu with innovative specials, fusing different flavours. I have gone here over 10 times and I get excited every time. I highly recommend the Garlic Chargrilled Mantou, Green Tea Soba Salad, their curries and meat dishes.
The alcoholic drinks is affordable and the cocktails are amazing (Jinzu Gin & Tonic is A+). The dessert is really unique as well. My favourites are their Green Tea Creme Brulee & Ginger Cookie Ice Cream Sandwich.
The service is absolutely amazing.
Absolutely bummed that they do not serve breakfast and lunch anymore. :(
Beautiful food with beautiful decor!
The lamb shank curry had a wonderful flavour with meat that was so soft it fell off the bone.
I suggest everyone that goes to get an entree of the spidar fried chicken. It wasn't dry, wasn't oily and the dipping sauce has a lovely flavour with a slight spice to it.
The chicken donburi was full of flavour, I love how well the cabbage salad complimented the curry. So tasty!!!
Service is great, there's this lovely (slightly older) man that is so friendly and kind and helpful!
Great food, great service, lovely wait staff. I went with a couple of friends without kids between xmas and new year, ordered some Negronis and it got better while there - what a treat! The mural on the wall is cool to look at, the menu is not too long - tapas style so we ordered a bit of everything to share between us - try the prawn ravioli and the eggplant dishes - amazing. It was a long overdue catchup so we were the last ones to leave but the staff were patient and happy for us to stay. Got a hug from the waitress wishing me a merry Christmas, what a lovely lady. Definately coming back, thanks for the Negronis!
This is one of the nicest places to have dinner in Castle Hill at the moment. Delicious Asian Fusion Tapas, great drinks selection! Reasonably priced! Lovely ambience and a great place to people watch. I highly recommend the Pork Bao - all the skewers were amazing aswell. Staff (and owner, who works in house) lovely, friendly and helpful :)
Delicious Malaysian restaurant located in castle hill. Undercover parking is easy and it's a open bright space. I'm so glad this place exists in the hills because most places in castle hill are rather drab so this is fantastic. The lunch menu is simple and very well priced around the $15 mark. The stand out dish is the pork tonkatsu burger! Cooked perfectly and the housemade brioche is light and buttery. I must go back for dinner !
Great food. The fried chicken is amazing I would be happy with just the chicken however everything else is amazing as well. The pan fried gnocchi in miso butter was so tasty. Definitely would recommend to everyone. Great service and great prices as well. I can't wait to go again..
Update: This our a favourite restaurant, we have been here probably 20 times and taken others as well. The food has remained delicious and the service is amazing. I have never been disappointed going here. The only thing I'm disappointed about is that it is only open for dinner. I wish it was open for lunches as well especially on the weekend.
A great dining locale. Good prices and friendly service. All the food we tried was excellent; we tried a range of mains and various nibbles. Definately worth a try and try again later. Only minus is its so popular and you'll need to book!
Amazing service from the team at Spidar is just the start of what is one of Castle Hills best new dining experiences. Can't praise the team enough for being friendly, attentive and the right amount of chatty. The food is pretty varied so you'll find something for everyone, it is also expertly made delivering beautiful flavours. Spidar also has quite an interesting range of beers in which I found a new favourite. I didn't want to leave the great atmosphere in the restaraunt and Spidar is definitely going on my local favourites list.
My favourite spot for dinner in the Hills by far. I have never been disappointed here. The service is great, the owners are so hospitable and the food is so so so good. They regularly update their menu with new items to keep you interested. The interior is cosy and parking at the back. Love it here!

This place is probably the best restaurant I've been to? We ordered tofu, salmon, and beef. And every piece was amazingly fresh, cooked and seasoned to absolute perfection. Highly highly recommend
The owner (or manager, short black hair) was easily the most wonderful people I’ve met in my life. Genuine hospitality with amazing food that will leave you wanting to take away the whole menu. Food was fresh, had incredible taste and the cocktail menu was unique. Fantastic dinner idea!
My husband & I visited Castle Hill tonight. (We are not live there) It was a dinner time when we about to back home so we decided to try Castle Hill local food while we were there already. We have found Spidar via Google search and happy to experience as the reviews were good.
We thought this place would serve some decent Asian cuisine but there's many surprise on each dish that we tried. It's Asian fusion I can say and what we ordered was all very delicious. We ordered 4 different dishes and ended order one more because we were curious what's more they could surprise us. If we have more capacity in our stomach, I am sure we have order a lot more. Besides of food, the staff were very friendly as well.
