Got an assortment of bagels and sweet challah bagel
They were all amazing
Even if you freeze them and put it in the toaster, it still maintains a nice flavour and texture
The best bagels hands down

So Glick’s is one of those places that if I’m near I’ll find an excuse to go in and purchase those authentic bagels. In fact there are hardly any decent bagel shops near Box Hill (where I live) so when in the right part of town why not. I grabbed a trio of gluten free bagels for Kelisi and an all seed and rye one for myself. Nice and fresh and perfect toasted. We had these tonight for a light dinner with salmon and cream cheese. I even found capers in the back of the fridge.
As well as great bagels they have ice cream, cakes and slices (bubka even) and some of the biggest chocolate iced donuts if have seen for a while.
Take a number and don’t even think of pushing in or pleading innocence.
The number one place for amazing bagels! The store can get a little busy during peak times so try and avoid that rush or else you will get lost in the crowd. Coffee is very well made here too

I love to be here for one and only

Love the bagel with toasted cheese & tomato. Staff always lovely there if a little dazed & confused with people wanting their bagels & challahs! Favorite local!
Great value service and food. Staff are excellent and food is freshly cooked.
Great for breakfast as well as lunch .
Definitely the place to go for challah, bagels are pretty good too.
Of all the different challah makers out there (and there are many), these are in my opinion the best. Soft, fluffy, good balance of sweet and bready, not too sweet and it doesn't fall apart. You can also buy it from the supermarket (Woolworths but not Coles as Coles apparently cares more about price than quality) but the fresh stuff in store is my preference when I'm not feeling lazy.
The service can be a bit variable and definitely breaks down during the big rushes but that's somewhat understandable.
The other food is a mixed bag. The bagels are very good (not the best I've ever had, but close) but some of their other pastries are downright terrible. I recently got some hamantashen (festive filled pastry triangles) and they were just appalling. The poppyseed mixture was the worst I've ever had. It looked anaemic, was very dry and flavourless. Also, the filling-to-pastry was way off on the stringy side.
The best bagels in the Eastern suburbs! Love their cinnamon raisin bagels- delicious. There have a huge variety of other cakes and breads, all baked on-site. It’s a very popular store so you may have to queue but it’s well worth the wait. There are tables/ seating at the back of the shop if you wanted to eat in. Super-friendly service. Highly recommend.
I truely think these are the best bagels you can buy in Melbourne.
They also do a pretty good selection of sandwiches at the bakery.
One of the best bagel shops in Melbourne.
They make the softer, Middle Eastern-style, rather than the firmer, New York-style bagels. The flavour and texture of their bagels is amazing, especially their onion bagels.
There's simply no place like them to get a bagel with smoked salmon, cream cheese, red onion, and capers.
As an added bonus, this shop doesn't get as busy as the ones in Caulfield and the City.
Shop keepers are super friendly, warm and accommodating, and the cosy atmosphere is great on a rainy day to sit and enjoy a bagel and dessert. The desserts I've tried are very nice as well, not cloyingly sweet, nicely balanced and satisfying.
A very inviting café, with attentive staff who smile. I am still thinking about the meal l had there today, it was that delicious. Yummo!
Highly recommended.
Always good can't go wrong sometimes there is a que but but good challa should expect it
Very tasty filled bagel: hadn't been there before
