Being a former student at Monash Caulfield, I have been to this restaurant one too many times. Tried a good hand-full of dishes over my student times.

Overall food is pretty good, my fav is always the K&B Chicken. Price is slight below city prices and taste is good.
An oldie but definitely a goodie!
They have been around for many years now and is consistent with their flavours.
I would usually get their hotstone pot with rice or the bibimbap and the portions are reasonable. The staff here is really friendly and the prices are reasonable

Kimchi jjigae Spicy stew
Itβs not often I review Korean soups so I was very excited to try Caulfield based Kimchi & Bab! Kimchi - a delicious fermented Korean dish can absolutely get in and around my mouth at any occasion. I was excited to give the Kimchi Jjigae a try as well as many of their other amazing looking dishes. This place was PACKED for a Friday night and with the average prices of dishes being $15 including sides my wallet was smiling up at me from my pants pocket. The Jjigae arrived at the table with an enchanting bubbling look about it - the smells of the chili and kimchi based broth emanating all around us. I was very stoked to notice an abundance of ingredients. Some good quality pork, zucchini, silky tofu and whatever else deliciousness was in there including their signature kimchi. This was absolutely delicious - the dish was bursting with umami goodness and had a nice amount of sourness from the fermentation. It was a taste sensation and for $15 including sides of rice, tofu and salad I was very very impressed. Iβll definitely be back to this restaurant. The staff were friendly and the meals were plentiful. Delicious stuff.

Have been there for many times since I am staying nearby as a university student. Ordered many food from this restaurant such as soup base rice set, bimimbap, curry chicken rice... the food is overall good with the reasonable price and large portions, which is quite fulfil our stomach as well. Even I am unsure about the authentic of Korean food but itβs still the best one near my university. Will be back when I back to university.
Used to come here all the time when I was at uni. Visited again after a few years and the food is still really good! Reasonable prices, fast service. It's always bustling which gives it a fun feel!
I always order the Kimchi jjigae but a personal favourite is the tofu that is served as banchan! We also ordered the sweet and sour popcorn chicken as entree and weren't disappointed.
Love this place. Always craving their food especially their Korean dumpling rice cake soup ππΌ really great value only problem is they donβt open on weekends ππππ
Have been there a lot because it is just next to the caul field campus. I really like the teriyaki chicken rice. And the kimchi soup is also nice.

Very popular and busy place because itβs in Caulfield station and besides Monash university, many uni students come down for lunch and dinner. The price is reasonable, I always visited there when I was studying in Monash. Come back again after 1-2 years, ordered an rice octopus, itβs way much tasty then before, and the octopus is so big and chewy, sooo yummy! And the staff and Korean boss are also friendly

Since moving to this site, I've really noticed they've stepped up their game and service has become a lot more efficient during their busy hours.
Highly recommend their Beef Bulogigi but make sure if you are doing takeaway to get it in a meal that comes with rice, tofu, and a side dish (usually the fish cakes. You need to ask for kimchi!) Their pan fried dumplings are also tasty but the casing is a little thick for the amount of filling.
This place is always crowded! you'll mostly have to wait to get a table! But the food is worth the wait!
