Usually I don't do reviews but felt like this place deserved one! I was visiting around Cessnock area for couple of days and went to dinner at the club for my last night. I found there was great service from the moment I walked in, the staff were very friendly and the food was so good! So glad I decided to go there and if I'm ever in the area I'll defidnly go again

Visiting the valley, we wanted somewhere close by that wasn't fine dining with a high price, and this was great. Short drive from our accommodation and easy enough to find. Plenty of parking right outside, lots of classic menu options and roast of the day was delicious! Fairly priced and didn't wait very long for our meals. Staff were friendly and prompt, meal sizes were decent, would come here again for sure.
We were going to another restaurant that was fully booked so came here instead and we are glad we did! Not only the service was really friendly but the food was surprisingly good. The kids meal were generous in size so was the scotch fillet and lamb rack. The Thai beef salad was delicious with the crispy noodles and the pan roasted barramundi with curry was also yummy. Will definitely come back if we are in the area again.
The menu had a good selection of meals that included the typical favourites along with specials. The dining room was a little crowded with some noisy children that is expected in that type of establishment. The service was friendly and there wasn't too long a wait for the meals. I had a positive experience and would return in the future.
Friendly, helpful polite staff, prompt service in bistro with definite value for money....the meals were amazing....entrees the size of mains OMG best value ever. Absolutely enjoyed a meal and recommend to all. It's kids friendly to wirh a play area.
Pub food
This club seems to be very popular with the locals. The meals are good, prices are reasonable and service is fast. We had the roast 2 nights in a row (roast lamb & then roast pork) which was very good with decent serves of vegetables! The desserts were also good and very reasonably priced too!
