Can't go wrong with the roast meats here. I usually never stray from my usual order of BBQ pork, roast pork and roast duck. Not the best, but definitely well above average. The meats are tender and flavourful, and the portion size is rather consistent each time.
Had roast duck dried egg noodles take away. The portion of duck was really good, and I was actually full-full after eating, unlike other places (Hawker Chan's). The duck was good but the noodles was mediocre. The flavour and texture of the noodles can definitely be improved, then I'll be able to give it 5 stars

Staff service was amazing . The fried rice was on special.
Duck was quite nice but a bit salty.
The meals came out quickly.
Good place for a dash meal.
I only tried Sar Siew BBQ pork with Rice with voucher from Group On, it’s quite nice and enjoyable 😀 I may go back again and will try something else
Quick friendly service. We got the bbq pork on rice with wonton soup on the side. The serving size was large so we left satisfied. Would go back.
Tried the roast pork belly, sausage, and roast duck in two different visits.
I was really impressed with the roast pork belly and it's really hard to find a place that does a decent one. Skin was crispy and flavourful, if you're lucky you wouldn't find bones but it was a 50/50 chance for me. Sausage is quite standard at most places so it's good. Roast duck was pretty good, thumbs up for not charging extra to request a part.
The egg noodles was okay, same goes for the sauce used. The chicken rice looked more yellow than pale beige and was dry, but thumbs up again for providing a chicken rice option and it's very rare to see this in Melbourne.
Overall, this is one of the top places to get my roast meat fix. No chicken rice chilli sauce here in case anyone is wondering but they have the regular chilli oil. Roast pork belly portion could be more too.
We dined around 5pm so restaurant was empty and staff were very attentive. Food arrived quickly, was tasty and generous portions. We will definitely be coming back :)
Secret Kitchen has opened a new store in Chadstone offering roast duck and other classic Cantonese bbq meat dishes. Decided to get half a roast duck and half a SK steamed chicken to takeaway for dinner. We didn’t have high expectations, but we were pleasantly surprised! The duck was delicious, but the steamed chicken is what really impressed us. Cooked perfectly, not too dry nor moist, and lots of flavour. Would definitely recommend!
This is a new offering from Secret Kitchen - I ordered their roast duck and roast pork dry noodles which came with a bowl of soup. The noodles were cooked a little more al dente than I liked but the roast pork was juicy with crispy crackling. The roast duck was tasty but I wish the skin was also crispy. The soup was flavourful. What let it down was the chilli oil. It had a funny smell and was not spicy. I went back on a different day and tried the roast pork and roast duck on fried rice. It was delicious. There is a also a variety of braised dishes on the menu which I will be working my way through in time!
Surprisingly good, they pick the perfect part of pork to make the perfect Cha Siu! The roast pork is the crispiest I have had in Melbourne. The fried rice has the ‘wok’ scent which totally cure my homesick! I would recommend ordering the Cantonese dishes instead of other Asian dishes!
I was thinking about whether I should give 5 stars or not and did because I could not think of a single negative thing about this place. We got the mushroom, chicken and Chinese sausage fried rice, roast combo with roast pork and duck and a char kway teo. For a drink we got the taro smoothie with coconut milk. Everything was amazing. The fried rice hit so different and was bomb af. The roast duck was just the right saltiness and the pork was good maybe slightly gamey. The char kway teo was equally great. The taro smoothie was amazing. Like I would go again to get that. Overall the service was great and food was amazing.
Outside of Chadstone shopping centre is one of our favourite Chinese restaurants! Small place but great service and the food is packed with flavour! Worth every dollar!!
I mean, at the price point you're paying it's a good and tasty meal. Similar to China Bar vibes where it's fast and no-frills Chinese food, but better.
Very satisfied with the portion of meats to noodles/rice ratio.
Roast meats are tender and juicy.
I have no idea why people are giving this place a 1 or 2 star review..
