Good food, even better service
Takeaway can be challenging for fried dishes like spring rolls, coconut prawns, and pork belly salad. But flavour was nice, loved the coconut lime sauce.
Best Vietnamese fusion meals..
Must have PAPAYA Salad. It so fresh, crunchy and delightful meal. I literally went to heaven . It’s so good , don’t second guess your meal and try that for sure .
Also had the Bao , so good .
The manager seemed so happy all the time, all the staff were so delightful .. We had so many question as one of my friend was vegetarian, but she handled us like a professional..
she went out and about explaining everything and guiding us what to get.

GREAT VIETNAMESE DINING AT CHADSTONE!
If you do not like the chaos that is the food court of Chadstone, definetly Mama's Buoi is a great place to enjoy Vietnamese dishes in lovely and bright interior setting.
We came here on a Scoopon Deal with a "feed me set menu" for two at $39 which with all the dishes we got, we felt it was total value for money!
There were two sets of entrees, main dish, salad, rice and dessert to share. The food was delicious and we enjoyed it very much! Service was friendly, fast and efficient.
We definitely got value for money using the deal and would highly recommend checking it out if the deal is still available
This is quite an expensive place for Vietnamese food. The food was nice but not amazing or very different from Vietnamese food elsewhere. The dessert we got was nice. Staff were friendly and helpful.
I ate in the chadstone branch and the service and food were excellent, and I liked sitting at the cute little booths they have. They were extremely accomodating to my request for gluten free even though we were using a groupon for a set banquet, and were able to modify dishes or offer an alternative. The service was excellent and they would always confirm if a dish was gluten free when bringing it to the table. Would recommend..
Great food, friendly service.
For a Vietnamese restaurant in the fashion capital of Australia, Mama's Buoi was actually surprisingly good. The interior was nice, bright and welcoming.
I had the beef pho which was delicious and could give the pho outlets in Springvale a run for their money. The noodles were silky smooth and the broth was tasty. There was a generous amount of meat in the bowl but at $18 a pop, that should be the case! Service was quick and pleasant enough.
So for a pho-licious time, Mama's Buoi does a good enough job.
Great ambience, the placed is well designed, however, during our time of visit, there seemed to be a lack of crew attending the place. They serve food quite quick though as expected in a Vietnamese place. Mama pho is amazing, flavourful with a variety of meat. The school prawns is unique and which you won’t find everyday in a restaurant. The stir fry beef is soft and tender, but the carrots looks to be overcooked and been in the soup for quite a while. Spring rolls is something new to my taste as it includes mushrooms. Should be higher than average overall.
I come here often and each time is as good as the last; each meal is great and the staff are always lovely. Very consistent in all aspects which is sometimes hard to come by with restaurants. Definitely recommend.
