I've visited the Secret Cafe a few times over the years.
It's pretty good food. They were able to make some small adjustments to their menu to suit my diet, which was nice. I'd be happy to visit for breakfast with my kids again for sure.
It has a good play area out the back; provided it's not raining.
The outdoor sitting area has a fair number of birds eating leftover food before it has been cleared.. but that won't stop me going again.
This place is an absolute gem!
Every menu item has an incredible portion size with each and every dish being around 12-17 dollars.
The selection of dishes is incredible, with the choices available on their secret menu being a particular highlight.
The premises is also magnificent. From the front area you would never expect a huge garden out the back, equppied with a large flat area equppied for soccer and a small play area for the youngin's to boot. There are so many places to sit, and every single one is fantastic.
The choice of milkshakes is also incredible. Rather than just having the big standard flavours, like chocolate or strawberry; they have far more interesting flavours like Peppermint and Butterscotch, as well as wilder ones like Mars Bar.
This place is one of the best cafes on the coast, with all the staff being incredible nice as well. Don't miss it.
Coffee was nice,food was good ,service was quick and the girl that served us was polite and cheerful..we will probably drop in again when in the area.
Wonderful food, cooked and served just right. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, great covered area and then a most surprising open area out the back with tables, huge playground, so much shade and the breeze just feels so refreshing as it eases through. The staff are all very welcoming and make the experience all the more enjoyable. The Secret Cafe and Secret Brunch Society should not be a secret anymore - well worth the stop
Came here on a weekend on a date with my boyfriend and was pleasantly surprised with how good it was. Got the pumpkin and walnut salad which i could not recommend enough, delicious and a good sized portion of food. Staff were very friendly and kind
