Passed this restaurant quite a few times and it's always looked full. I made a booking for Thursday evening last week and was surprised that the restaurant was so quiet! The lady at the counter was very friendly and helpful with the menu.
My friends and I ended up ordering the Panang Curry with Roasted Duck, Chicken Pad Thai and Veggie and Tofu Pad Prik Sod. We also ordered Thai Milk Teas and a couple of Roasted Rice Teas.
All the food that came out was pretty decent, the Panang Curry was a little light in texture, but the flavour was great and the duck was also cooked well. The Pad Thai was pretty standard. The Pad Prik Sod was okay, but I might try it with a meat option next time to see if it's any better. The Thai Milk Tea was pretty good, but nothing special. I quite liked how they had Roasted Rice Tea on the menu.. even though it's not exactly a Thai thing.
We ended up paying just over $20 per person which I found to be very decent! I'd recommend if you're close by, but it's nothing to travel far for. The staff are also very accommodating which added to the very enjoyable experience.
Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Spring rolls were the best I've ever eaten. The serving sizes looked small at first, but it didn't take long for me to feel full and I couldn't finish off my plate- I ordered cashew nut stir fry and it was delicious. Really nice food and decent price for mains. A glass of wine here is fairly cheap compared to other places and it was surprisingly good for it's price.
Some colleagues and I tried this place today- I had delicious pad Thai with tofu today! Good size servings and really tasty dishes! Can't wait to go back sometime soon! :)
Been here countless times and they never fail to disappoint. Prices are affordable yet they do not skim on the quality of the food. I recommend the pla sam rod fish or the pad Thai.
Had a great thai dinner with devil's wings and curry puffs as starters. Main was Panang pork curry and spice fried seafood rise. Curry was nicely spiced and extremely fragrant with kafir lime leafs. Seafood rice was not fishy at all (like often is). This was my second time at Imm Aun. Great simple thai.
